    At UR Service Appliance Repair
    Michael scheduled to arrive between 1-3 and was very prompt. On arrival, he inspected the water leakage problem; my husband asked him to put in plastic tubing to replace the worn copper fittings. He ordered the part and scheduled to be here on 10/28/14. He arrived promptly when he said he would and immediately went to work replacing the coppery unit and installing a new shut-off valve to stop the leak. Within about half an hour, he was finished.
      Michael was prompt, efficient, very courteous and knowledgeable in his service. I would definitely recommend him and his company to any of my friends and neighbors who had a similar problem to mine.

    J.I.M. Appliance Repair
    I had a really bad experience with J.I.M. Appliance Repair. Their price was unbelievable. They were late coming out. They gave me a time span in which they would arrive and they didn't show up. I called the office and then the technician called me back saying he had a flat tire, so he was an hour late. Which wasn't a big deal. When he did come out he didn't even look at the washing machine. All I did was tell him the error code the washing machine gave me and he told me he knew exactly what it needed. I asked if he was going to look at the washing machine and he said no he didn't need to and that it would be $50 for the call. I said "you didn't do anything." He said he would added it on to my bill at the end and he was going to order these 2 parts, because that is probably what is wrong with it. It was nearing Christmas and I told him I was leaving town so he said he would get to me by the end of the week. He didn't get to me by the end of the week. I left town and it was another 2 weeks. I finally called and said what is going on. He said he called me on Monday and I told him you were supposed to call me on Friday. I told you I was leaving town. He came out and replaced the one part and then said he was going to replace the other one too, because it is probably going to go anyway. Then the next day I went to run my washing machine and something else was wrong with it. So I called him back and said "hey something else is wrong with it." and he said oh it might be another part. I told him that it was weird that they came out and fixed my washing machine and then something else goes wrong with it. He said it was probably just a coincidence. I said I don't think it is just a coincidence and I think you guys should come out and replace it. He said well the part is $40. I said I wasn't going to pay them anymore money. I had already paid them $450. Now you tell me you fixed the machine, but it doesn't work and now it is another part and you haven't looked at the washing machine. He said he ordered the part and then he never called me back. They have never replaced the part.

    The machine works in only one area. I have like 20 different speeds and only one works. They charged me $450 to do the whole damn thing. I am so upset about it that I can hardly even think about it. They either need to come out and fix my washing machine or give me a new one. They are not even a company, they are like a clearing house. You call up the company and they contract out with different technicians. It is not even a company that has any control over the technicians. It is just a contractor who says okay you can go out under my name. They contract out with all these different technicians. It is not even a company.

    I would give them an F absolutely. An F in everything. They didn't do anything, but charge me a whole bunch of money and my washing machine doesn't work.

    My dryer would not consistently heat up.  Called Taylor's, described problem and was able to schedule an appointment for the next morning. Technician arrived on time, was not able to replicate the problem, but he told me that this was a common issue with the age of the dryer, which is about 8 years old.   I was given the option to wait or replace the part.  I chose to replace the part rather than have the dryer be inconsistent.  While he was here, he noticed that my dryer vent hose was of poor quality and offered to replace the portion attached to the dryer as part of the service call.
    Overall I am quite satisfied with the quality of service and prompt attention to my problem.

    He came out and fixed it the same day we called, fournd the problem in minutes, gave me an accurate estimate and he even had the part on hand.
