    Topp Rax Overhead Garage Storage
    Craig from Topp Rax installed four racks in my garage and I'm very happy with not only the product, but also the installation - both are top notch!  Craig arrived on time and is professional and friendly.  I will definitely recommend Topp Rax to my family, friends and neighbors!  The video at explains very well the difference between Topp Rax and other rack brands.

    Earlier, when he was 2.5 hours late I submitted a very negative review. When he arrived, he had said that he was trying to reach me over the past several days on my home and cell phones -- turns out that he did not have the phone numbers I left when scheduling but old and not-updated phone numbers from Angie's List [ooops]. Once they arrived and we straightened out the problem they got to work. We went through the garage item by item to discuss what to do with them (options: save, trash or give-away). Ron's three workers got immediately started on the work. Everything was done graciously and with care for the objects and my requests. The Big Deal I purchased was $149 and I read the description as 4 men for $149 for up to 4 hours. Re-reading it, it says $149 for up to 4 MAN-hours. A bargain slipped away but he did give me, since I purchased through Angie's the same rate for each hour work with the 4 men who were here. In the end, the bill was $582. Aside from the high quality of the job, there is no calculating the value of having another nightmare garage bring a very pleased smile rather than dread on entry. In this case, my garage was actually a large car-port attached to a garage full of open-to-the-wind-and-rain storage. LA county air is full of fierce fine grit that covers a car in 3-4 hours. Days, weeks, months the accumulation was extraordinary, every crevice breached. The filth they swept, blew and washed was astonishing in magnitude.

    It was good. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. The owner or manager came out and did a whole drawing and estimate. Then a group of guys came out and put a lot of work and man-hours into the installation. They'd already built a lot of it off-site. I got a lot of value for how much it cost. They all came when they were supposed to and cleaned up after themselves. I even sent pictures to a friend so she could do hers too. I was very happy.

    Get Organized Already
    Organizing takes longer than you think it will. It just does. So having someone help you with the task who is pleasant while being professional is absolutely essential. The owner of Get Organized already is just such a person. She was unflaggingly upbeat, very supportive and 100% reliable. Highly recommended!

    Tracy went through my filing cabinet and all the piles of work papers of various categories I had stacked on my desk.
    She was fun and gently kept me going through the papers to purge all I could. She was helpful on what I needed to keep
    or toss. She helped me choose categories for files and made labels for all my files and file folders. It looks and feels great!
    I have ADD so it's hard for me not to have all my papers and to-do items in front of me because I become anxious that I'll forget them. She helped me understand that with ADD the main key for me is to see a project/item through to completion before getting distracted and jumping to the next one. She showed me a sytem I could use to clear the piles of papers off my desktop and also feel secure that I wouldn't lose track of them. This has already helped me get some of those items completed that have been sitting on my desktop waiting to be done for weeks So this system is working for me.
    She was efficient and fun to work with.

    The thing about professionalism is that you have to show up!!!!! I called two times and was really excited about finding someone on Angie's list who could help me unravel the confusion which I call a garage. This particular company was touted as A+ fantastic reviews, but they NEVER CALLED ME BACK. What's up with that?
    Anyway, highly unprofessional and rude. Not recommending this one.

    OrganizIt was extremely professional. Gus arrived on time to take a look at what I wanted done. He was very clear on what products he thought would best fit what I wanted. He didn't try to sell me any additional products/services which I appreciated. He sent me a detailed price quote, which specified everything that was included in the price; this was extremely important to me since it makes it easier to compare prices with other companies, in addition with the details quote you know exactly what to expect.

    On the day we had schedule for the work to be done, Tony came out with his assistant, again on time. They worked all day, were again very professional and cleaned up afterwards.

    There were only two minor problems. 1) Tony did not haul away all the wood shelving: they had leaned some boards (about 1/2 dozen 5ft and 8ft boards) ) against  a fence and forgot to load those into their truck. 2) they had to reposition a shop light (they didn't tell me about that) and they used scrap wood but I believe they could have done a neater job: they had to nail a couple of pieces together and the pieces were not cut the same length so it looks a bit 'messy'.

    The overall experience was GREAT. I LOVE MY CABINETS!!! I wish I had contacted them before I went out and purchased some free standing cabinets at OSH. I now have plenty of room and don't really need all of those cabinets I purchased at OSH; I could have saved myself several hundred dollars.

    All of my projects with Tracy went wonderfully! I give her my highest recommendation. She is also reliable and punctual, which I really appreciate. She has great suggestions, is personable and fun to work with. Also, she is very energetic and effecient. She is great at what she does and I know I'll use her many more times.

    Tracy first came to our house to survey our needs. We were remodeling and needed to figure out how to eliminate a lot of stuff, organize the packing for one floor plus one room in our house. It was a complicated maneuver. Also, we had to measure and catelogue all our kitchen equipment. She spent over an over with us and gave us, and this is in the initial free consult, so many helpful ideas and worthy places for our unwanted stuff, that we began to feel as though we could see clearly a path ahead of us. I set about applying all the steps she suggested. Incredibly helpful. Then she met with us again and went through the whole house helping me think through each of the knotty problems that were stymying me. She gave me estimates on three levels of work, both time and money. They could do it all and finish it in a week and down from there. I opted for our doing most of it. She also told me how many bow many boxes, tape, bubble wrap and packing paper to buy and told me where to order them. She introduced the idea of a pod where you can pack the whole house up and it will towed away and stored. Finally, she sent over a very lovely, upbeat, indefatigable assistant who went at the job with enthusiastic energy and good humor. This job entailed packing all our fragile kitchen stuff, glasses and serving plates. She brought supplies, packed very carefully, labeled accurately and firmly secured all the boxes. She also was knowledgeable about organizing principles. And I call Tracy if I have questions. This project will continue over the next few months and I will continue to use her services. In addition, Tracy is a smart, can do, perceptive, personable wonderful human being.
