Dr recommended and placed three crowns. I was left with bleeding inflamed gums. At my last visit dentist reassured me everything looked good and recommended two more crowns. I got 5 second opinion and all dentists agreed absolutely no work was needed on the two teeth and the three crowns all needed to be replaced. I asked for patient files and realized all recommended work was falsely recorded. I did report him to the Dental Board of California. After 5 years of being a patient I was left in constant pain and thousands of dollars of work that needed to be redone. The most painful part is After seeing my files I realize all the work done was completely unnecessary. A nightmare situation.

My son chipped his front tooth and Dr. Ikemura did an outstanding job of matching the bonding material to his real tooth. He warned me that the repair could fail since it was a front tooth - he is straightforward in letting you know what to possibly expect. He did not push a crown or veneer and I didn't want to do that unless necessary. I knew Dr. Ikemura would be the dentist that could do a stellar job on a front tooth. His career is also his passion. He makes his own crowns and takes pride in his work. A few years back, he saved my molar that was cracked. He put a crown over it but discussed at length that it might not work and he didn't want me to spend money needlessly and end up having to have the tooth pulled. I, of course, wanted to do all I could to save the tooth. Luckily, my crowned cracked tooth is still doing fine. Dr. Ikemura is honest and is probably the only dentist that doesn't overcharge and overdo x-rays and other unnecessary procedures.

Dr. Yung is fabulous. He patiently explains in detail what he will be doing. He is very attentive to any pain and addresses it immediately. When we first went to him, he gave us a detailed "road map" of the work we needed done and the office gave us a price quote based on our insurance. There were no surprises along the way. The office staff are delightful, the hygienists are gentle and informative. It's not that I look forward to the dentist, but I certainly don't dread it. I highly recommend Dr. Yung and his staff.

It's one of the best dentist office I've ever done business with. They're friendly. They're very professional and just have that phenomenal bedside manner. They're probably the only dentist I've ever known that when they're going to do work, they make sure that they put vaseline on your lips if your lips are dry or whatever. They just make sure that as they work in your mouth, which means you have to stretch your lips, it doesn't cause any harm or anything.

Very professional and detail oriented dentist.
Explained dental X-rays in detail and suggested in detail how to maintain dental health.
Could not be more pleased with the approach of Dr Taylor.
Having lived in different parts of the country prior to moving to So Cal, this is the best dentist I have experienced so far.

My family has been going to Dr Yan for about 18 years. We all love him. But, sadly, he sold the practice to Dr Nguyen, and only works part time in the office. Nguyen completely changed the staff we had all got to know so well, presumably to bring in cheaper people? I feel like the new dentist is all about the money, and I get it, because he just bought a thriving practice, but it seems to be going a bit overboard. He also made a negative comment about some previous work I had done, but he must have known (or at least suspected) it was Dr Yan who did it, and that struck me as very unprofessional. I have had some extensive work done by both, and I am convinced that Dr Yan is the better dentist. Sadly, we have decided to move on.

Dr. Ronald Miller, periodontics was recommended to me by my current dentist. He is in Pasadena Periodontics. I would give them an 'A'. They are fantastic. It is the best dentistry I have ever been too because of the bedside manner and the techniques. He explains everything to you, he is very gentle, very mindful of making sure that his patients are comfortable. On top of that he is an expert at what he does, he is amazing. He is really good. I couldn't recommend that dentistry any higher. I am not afraid to go to the dentist when I go to him. He is a great guy. I will use him and I will keep on using him. I have one more thing to be done. They are like family, I have been going to them for over 2 years now, so they all know me there.

She has a great bedside manner.  She is friendly, thorough and knowledgeable.  I feel well taken care of.  Her front office is person is very friendly, very nice and welcoming.  The staff is very nice and caring.  They put me at ease.  I haven’t had any bad experience with any personnel at all over the years.  She keeps a pretty steady staff which is nice.

I like my dentist. His father died and the son came into the business and he is very nice but also appears very competent. I haven’t had any work done by him but his wife his hygienist and every time I go I get the last appointment so I can show off my pictures to her. The office is clean. It is a small office, it is just him and a couple of hygienists I think, and the staff is very friendly. It is a very pleasant environment. They are prompt. There is hardly any waiting. For a dentist the key thing is clear my tooth aches and I have already got my appointments from six months from now. There was one time when I had to wait because he was working on an emergency but that is actually a good sign. My teeth are always in good shape. Their billing is like they either do it or they don’t. When I am there, they don’t offer me to just let me pay it and I always have to ask.

I have been searching for a good dentist all over Southern California for over 10 years, and now I have found them.  The hygienists, and dentist I saw were courteous, attentive, and not condescending (hardest part to find).  They were even honest about their billing: a rarity!
