  • Bayshore Plumbers was great.
We woke at up at 8:00 AM to find our very old water heater in the basement spewing water from the top.  Called Bayshore and scheduled them to come out between 12PM and 2PM that same day.  The company called to say that they had finished at another home early and would we like them to come earlier.  YES!!!  They were at my home 1/2 hour later 9:30AM,  the water heater was installed by 11:00AM and the old water heater was gone.  Voila!!  Could not have asked for better service.

  • They were awful. They found out that there was a leak somewhere in the house. They told me that it would cost me much more to have them identify it than to replace all the gas pipes in the house. They also told me what it would cost. They cut out all the old gas pipes and then they added $500 or more to the cost. They wanted me to pay upfront before the job got started. They were really obnoxious. The man was really unpleasant when I asked to talk to the owner. He only gave me the first name and not the last name of the owner. He was as bad as bad could be. I sent them a long letter stating all the things that they had done which were inappropriate and unprofessional. I also sent them an email. I haven?t heard from them since. After all this they still hadn?t fixed the gas leak.

  • The technicians from Palo Alto Plumbing were all very polite and efficient. The price for the work exceeded my guess (although I have no experience). I did have a question about the number of hours I was billed for and got a reasonable explanation when I called to ask about it. Nicole said she would still confirm the time with the technicians. She called back the following day and let me know they would adjust the bill, and the resulting compromise was adequate for me.

  • Mr. Stumpf came to my house and had to take apart several portions of the pipeline to be able to gain access to tighten the joints that were leaking. He also shortened the gas pipe behind my new stove in the kitchen. For all of this he charged $100.00 (as opposed to $945.00 the plumber had asked for!). He was very nice and did the work efficiently. I would definitely hire him again.

  • A hit and run driver hit my house shearing off the gas meter. After the utility person replaced the gas meter, the Bayshore Plumbing worker repaired the inside piping, replacing one right angled connector and replacing the standing pipe. He checked all the inside gas fittings. The utility said no inside pressure test was required, so he did not need to do additional work inside.

  • I moved into a house that the landlady acquired in a foreclosure sale. It has problems, which she's willing to pay for, but is having me deal with the administrative. She had prior experience with Ariel and referred him for plumbing work. We needed to replace the water heater because it was about half the size needed for a duplex with six people, and had been installed by an amateur using substandard equipment. We also had him put in our new dishwasher, and gas lines for dryers upstairs and down; we already had gas stoves, and gas dryers are less expensive to run than electric ones. He was very friendly, and did excellent work, though I do wish he had taken care of more of the patching/spackling in areas where he had to drill or break into walls; we have to get a separate handyman for that. Also, after doing gas work on a Friday, which required turning off the gas, he forgot to light the furnace pilot light; we had no heat for a couple days. He came back Monday morning, for free.

  • Good, they fixed a leaky gas line outside the house. During the pressure test, they found a second leak in the house and fixed that. Good enthusiasm to finish the job. Bad, because they did not show up for a scheduled appointment, with the city inspector. Price was fixed price and high. They would not do the job by the hour. Other plumbers were busy (start of cold season), so I would have had to wait days, to hire a different plumber.

  • It went fine. They came over and installed the valve with no problems.

  • That was good. I thought he did a good job. He went out of his way to explain other things around the house. I am going to use him again. He is reasonable priced.
    - Nicole G.
  • none further, since obviously I did not hire him.
