  Had our condo master bathroom remodeled and the finished product was amazing. We met with David and the project manager over the job and they were very professional. We actually left town to allow them to do the remodel so we were not in the way and they did outstanding in ensuring our condo and all items were in perfect condition when we returned. We trusted them to have access and work with our condo maintenance supervisor. Everlast listened to our ideas, offered counterproposals, and generally tried to give us exactly what we envisioned. Remodels in condos are unique and they knew what to do to ensure in compliance with the HOA rules and regulations. Thank again for the great job.

  Working with Everlast- Ariel and his team on my whole house renovation has been a great experience for us. We just finished our master bath remodeling and we love the transformation. I stripped the entire place down to the frame -- walls, ceiling, floors -- and gutted both bathrooms. Through the entire process Ariel was prompt, quick to return my calls, attentive to detail, receptive of change orders, and stayed on schedule. He even came up with some creative solutions to safely double the size of my master shower without major structural changes. They even custom cut and stained new tongue-in-groove ceiling panels around all the existing beams and vaulted ceilings. I couldn't be happier with the result, and would recommend them highly to anyone looking for a major remodel.

  In the world of home remodels and construction, family-owned Heartwood Residential is a rare gem. I retained them to convert my close-to-original, circa 1970 kitchen into something affordably modern, and from beginning to end it was a genuine pleasure to work with owners Nick and Michelle Yegge. To be clear, “genuine pleasure” is not a phrase I would have ever considered using in a sentence with “remodel” before. I mean, let’s face it . . . no matter how nice the finished product, the actual process of remodeling your home can be stressful. Amidst all of the usual hubbub of construction, Nick and Michelle are calm, thoughtful, consummate professionals with impeccable technical skills and a hands on touch that engenders trust.   American Kitchen & Bath remodeled the kitchen and bathroom in both units of my duplex. The first project was completed in 2015 and the second in 2017. I continue to be satisfied with the results. I can't say that everything went exactly as planned, but few projects ever do. The jobs took a little longer than expected, but the owner, Johans, communicated well when issues arose and worked on getting things back on track quickly. Johans is committed to quality work and excellent service. He wants his customers to be satisfied and follows up to make that happen. It's hard to find contractors that do great work in the bay area at a rate that makes sense. Based on my experience, American Kitchen and Bath was able to deliver.

  We first met their team when a salesman cold-called us. It took us a while to make a decision about what we wanted to do, but once my wife and I decided to move forward, working with Shmuel and his team was excellent. I can't say enough good about them. They promised to get the job done in six weeks, in time for an important family gathering we had planned. We were skeptical, but bet on them, and they came through. In any project of this size, there will be unforeseen issues that come up. In all of those cases, Shmuel was excellent to work with. Some examples are: - Once we saw the lighting in the new kitchen, we wanted an extra light over the sink. He tore-up some of his work and added it and charged us for the hardware only. - We wanted a cabinet added by our front door and another by our laundry room. He added it to the work without question, and charged only for the hardware. - We decided we wanted to replace the stair railing. He helped us find bids from railing experts, and charged us the bid without any contractor markup. The extra work disrupted his planned work schedule, but he worked around it to make sure we were still done on time. - The vent over the kitchen range appeared too low to us, even though it was within code. He replaced and installed the cabinet with something smaller. No charge. - With all the demolition, he accidentally lost our Nest thermostat. When this was realized, without any questions or me having to ask, he apologized and picked-up a new one, at his cost. Some other examples of the excellent service: - Shmuel and Shalhevet helped us pick paint colors and pick kitchen appliances and cabinet styles, traveling to a number of stores with us. My understanding is that most contractors would just tell you to pick something and leave you to figure out the details. - They allowed us to live in our home during construction. At the end of each day, they spent time blocking-off areas and moving equipment (as required by code) to make the site safe for our children. He could have easily just insisted we spend a month in a hotel. - All the little things. For example, we never discussed replacing the flooring HVAC vent covers; he bought beautiful new ones that matched the wood floors we chose. We never discussed replacing outlet faces, but he felt it wasn't right to repaint and leave the old worn outlet faces. They are highly recommended!

  WOW I am so very pleased with my new bathroom. I opted to go all out with the remodel. Remove the tub, put a shower in, move the toilet, new floor, lighting, everything. Area was totally cleaned at the end of every day. Each step of the remodel was done by a different crew that specialized in that area. Workers were very polite, professional and a delight to talk with. Communication was great and daily updates was given via email as well as the website.

  He arrived when he said he would. He got to work quickly and set up to make sure he didn't damage anything and cleaned up after he was done. He was very responsive to all communication. I contacted him at various times by phone, email and text and he always got back to me quickly. He showed up to preview the job, got me an estimate quickly and picked up the tile I ordered and brought it to do the job. I would definitely use him again and recommend him.

  We remodeled our kitchen, which I?ve heard can be a nightmare! Not for us! I have to say that all the crafts people from the demo guys, plumbing, drywall, patch, and paint, carpenters were all top notch, professional, courteous, and polite.? They did not disturb my neighbors, they arrived each morning when they said they would, and cleaned up every day.?? Highly recommend!

  They seemed knowledgeable and were pleasant to work with. We never received a quote on the project, although received quotes on part of the project. We heard back from third party vendors that they hire, but we did not hear back from Tool Time. Not sure if the job was too big or too small. If the readers are wondering about the "B" grade, I am grading this time relative to their peer group.
