  • Robert and Anthony really made a point of making sure I was happy with the services rendered at every step. They have high standards and asked for the same from every person the contracted with. It helped a great deal to feel they were advocating for us, even if problems came up. They worked hard to make sure everything was worked out. And kept the schedule and budget discussed.

  • I hired SOD builders to do a complete remodeling of my kitchen and 2 bathrooms at my house. I had received few other quotes for this massive remodeling, but all of them were expensive and more than that, they made me feel that all they care was to make a sell and nothing else. Oren in the other hand, made me feel very comfortable with his knowledge and experience without giving me some nonsense estimate. The kitchen came out amazing! And the bathrooms too. Everyone who came to my house for a visit said it looks gorgeous. The kitchen work that they did included almost every aspect of it (from new floors to hardware and appliances). The bathrooms also included everything (1 bathroom included a shower jet system and the other one included a bath tub). I am very picky when it comes to details and color matching. Oren was able to nail it! Oren who was the project manager, was always available to my calls/texts about any question or concern that I had. All related issues were addressed in a short manner. Oren says he wants the customer to be happy and he means it. There were no hidden charges and everything was delivered as promised and on budget. They are my go to company for all future projects now.

  • They were $200 more expensive than the other contractor. They were the higher bidder but they agreed to allow us to see the slabs before they fabricated the countertops. We did have an opportunity to go see the slabs. It was not easy getting past the front office people to get them to allow us go see it but once we got to the foreman from the shop to look at the slabs it was a very good experience. He was very understanding and cooperative. It was a very pleasant experience to work with him there. When the installation people came out it was kind of a very difficult situation but they were able to handle it and eventually did a good job although they kind of made a mess getting it done but they cleaned up after that. So, they did a good job, they were good to work with. It's just that they had some difficulties and kind of made a little of a mess getting it installed.

  • What first caught my eye was the advertisement that read “Have your Children Flown the Nest and do you still have Eggshell Tiles in your Kitchen?” Yes, that was us! We were ready to update our 1990 tract home kitchen. We checked out the Lenton Company website at and saw beautiful photos of remodels and great customer reviews. After the initial consultation with Rob, we knew we wanted to go with Lenton Company for our remodel. He listened to what we liked and did not like about our kitchen and made suggestions, all while letting us stay within our budget. The entire crew was always on
time, and very professional. We were kept informed throughout the whole process, and the project was completed on schedule. We are loving our new kitchen! Next up, a bathroom remodel, and we’ll be going with Lenton Company again!

  • We live in the Antelope Valley and couldn't get a reasonable estimate from anyone locally, so we finally started looking in the San Fernando Valley.  After shopping for 6 months, we chose to go with Carlos at C-Bek for two reasons: the company had great reviews on Angie's List and we met and really liked Carlos.  Carlos gave us what we felt were honest opinions on colors and how they blended with our floor and cabinets and helped us choose a great granite ($900).  To accommodate our schedule, Carlos came out on a Saturday evening to measure; he even went to my parents house, also in AV, and gave them a quote afterward.

Our kitchen is not just a number of nice, easy rectangles.  The sink area of the counter has two 45 degree angles, as does the raised bar.  They were able to make each of the four sections of counter in single pieces; I have no horizontal seams!  They installed the sink, looks great.  One of the things I really liked about Carlos was that he didn't seem to look at our counter as just a job, he seemed to consider it as the homeowner/user.  Even when it was getting dark and cold outside, I heard him tell one of his crew that he didn't like the grout color in one section and had him change it.  The crew was great, what little mess was created they cleaned up.  The installation took about 6 hours and the kitchen looks beautiful.  My parents came by to see the work today, they loved it, too.

  • I thought the people were great but I thought they were overwhelmed. The receptionist was wonderful to work with. There were issues that were a combination of a lot of things. The price was wonderful and it was about $800 lower than anybody else. That was probably part of the problem because the estimator underestimated the project and they didn't get the correct amount of materials for the job. They subbed out the granite and the installation of the granite. I had some issues with that because he didn't sink all the nails in. He was a very nice man and I would probably use him again but I would tell him about the nails. I suppose that they did the best they could. I picked out the materials and there was a 12 day lag. I had to get back to them and they said they thought that somebody had called me. They are good Christian people. I told them I would have them rebid my floor but because of the mess they left, I think they were embarrassed. Everything fell apart. Even the subcontractor didn't measure the materials and I had to pay for more plumbing. Because they didn't have enough materials we had to go 15 miles to pick another slab. He only had two to pick from. His men needed to measure because they had to remove the sink and fixture. The slab was cut wrong and they were supposed to replace the plumbing which was in the bid and then they broke the faucet. They were all apologetic. When they broke the faucet, they didn't volunteer to pay to replace it. I bought two new faucets so they would match and had somebody else install them. I like the people and I don’t know if there was a personal problem. I did accept the different colored slab even though I wanted both bathrooms to match. I would use them again.

  • We did not use Precision Countertops because they would not let us inspect the slab they used prior to cutting it.

  • They were on top of everything. They were always on time. They didn't string you along and they do what they say they will. They have professionals who do anything.
