Everything went flawlessly. These gentlemen are craftsmen in every right. Senovio was our contact and he really took the time to make sure things were done to a standard that was unbelievably high. While in the process of setting our floors, Senovio would periodically slide a quarter across the tiles. We were baffled at first. And I personally thought it was weird. But one night while at our neighbors house I demonstrated to my friends how senovio would do this thing with the quarter every morning. In doing so we all understood why he did it. When the quarter was sliding on our floors, it would never bounce. When I sent it sailing down my buddy's hall it bounced as it went over the first grout joint it encountered. The pride that was taken in setting our floors was incredible. Senovio encourages his crew to be the best. They weren't the cheapest bid we got but they were very highly recommended to us. It is refreshing to see that kind of pride in workmanship. Thank you J.M.

The job entailed taking popcorn from a ceiling and smooth coating it for paint on a 1,000 sf mid-century condo. Robert Lares and his crew showed up on time, carefully removed all ceiling light fixtures, covered all walls/floors and knocked out the job over 3 days, it was a lot of work. When they finished you could hold a flashlight up on the ceiling and it looked like it was shining on a piece of glass--exemplary work, great crew, and the finished product was better than we expected. I am involved in commercial construction in the PNW and no union drywaller or plasterer could have done a better job. Highly recommended.

From beginning to end this project was the best of many renovations we have done in a variety of homes. The professionalism of all concerned was superb. Craig worked with us to choose the very best materials. Communication was great, we were out of town for most of it and constant communication was needed. Every detail was perfectly completed and the result is a gorgeous and very functional house. Added 2 bathrooms and a state of the art kitchen as well as added closets, A/C, new plumbing and wiring, painted inside and out. The attached photo is a very small part of project. Generations West does great work !

Who ever said you need a village, for a extreme 1980's condo makeover. After several bids from contractors, hands down MGM Contractors won the bid. Mike & Jennifer had the right stuff, to keep project on budget, and complete with in the time frame that's was agreed upon. This was complete remodel. Kitchen, baths, walls, ceilings, floors etc... Wow, factor from guest is jaw dropping. Can't believe this is the same place purchased 5 months ago. Check out the before and after pictures. Highly recommend Mike Goldman for you next project.

I shouldn't cry every morning when I walk into my kitchen, but I do. Eric was a very nice guy; unfortunately Mark and Mark Jr did most of the work. The work they did was terrible as even Eric would agree. Eric tried to fix as much as he could, but other than tearing out the cabinets and counter tops and starting over, there's just so much he could do. Mark's defensiveness made working with him a nightmare and, as always, Eric tried to smooth things over as he said he often has to do. Just a few of the many, many low-lights: Timeline Marks written estimate was 4-6 weeks. They would show up around 10:30 or 11 and leave by 3pm. After 7 months, I stopped letting them in my house. Counter-top bait & switch. Installed a different counter-top than what I ordered. Was installed so poorly they had to remove and replace it at their cost. Back splash install my tile was beautiful and large scale (15 x 36) and I specifically said I want as few grout lines as possible. It looks as though the installer tried to intentionally make as many grout lines as possible. (see photos) Cabinets Mark said the cabinets were a standard 12 deep. They are not. They are 10 deep so my regular dinner plates (not to mention large bowls, etc.) dont fit! Cabinet pulls - I assumed Mark Jr. would check for clearance, etc., before drilling holes in the cabinets and installing the pulls. No of course he didnt. The pulls on the cabinets on either side of the microwave rub and scrape against the front of the microwave finish when they open. I tried putting rubber stoppers on the edges to protect my new appliance, but they constantly fall off. Now their work has ruined the front of my new microwave. (see photos) Worse yet, the cabinet on the floor next to the kitchen door has a drawer in it. To pull out the drawer, you have to open the cabinet doors fully. Instead of thinking and planning the logistics, the drawer wont slide out because the door frame is in the way so he had to cut a notch in the FRAME OF THE KITCHEN DOOR because the pull stopped the door from opening fully. (see photos) Misc. - When Mark Jr. brought in my new range from the garage, instead of using a dolly and laying down something to protect the floor, he just dragged it into the kitchen, causing deep gauges in the new concrete kitchen floor. They are permanent. Summary even today, cabinet doors are falling off (see photos), some of the cabinet features (trash/recycling) are wobbly and low quality and the list just goes on and on. I wish I could write a better review, because I know Eric went through a lot of personal issues over these 7 months, but even he will agree that Mark and Mark Jr. did awful work which is why they are no longer in business together anymore. Now I have to go into my awful new kitchen to make lunch. On second thought, I think I've lost my appetite.

Small drywall job, the kind most companies run away from. Not the case with Michael Goldman's General Maintenance. Best thing I can say is that from my very first call to the day the job was completed, his office staff and work crew were exactly what you hope to find when hiring a company to do work inside your home! I got through to someone on the first call which was awesome. They in turn took my information and I received a second call to schedule the work soon after that same day. The crew showed up right on time to assess the job and explain exactly how the work would be done, how much time was needed, etc. All being more than reasonable, we agreed on the price to do the work. I've often found with drywall work in particular, it can be tricky because it isn't usually the type of job that can be done in one quick visit. There are several stages of floating and sanding with drying time in between. Then there's always the issue of paint. Michael's crew was able to repair the softball size hole in my hallway wall in two relatively quick visits, both in the same day. The kicker for me however was that they offered to paint the area with a sample that they brought back after having the color on a piece of the existing drywall matched. No problem they said. Just a great attitude and quality work all the way around. Wouldn't hesitate to call again. Thanks guys, great job!

Staff was clean courteous and professional. On time, on schedule, have already engaged them for a second job on exterior with the same good results. Also referred them to my GC who used them on a large project.

Craig and his team did an amazing job. They did both the interior and exterior of my home. I have an older home that had a lot of stucco damage which they were able to repair and blend in perfectly with the existing stucco. They were very professional and easy to work with. Very highly recommended!!!

Brian and his crew were exceptional professional and certainly knew what they were doing. The entire job was done in one day, as requested. I was actually able to go and pick the exact slabs to be used. Was extremely reasonably priced compared to other quotes for over 63 sq. feet which included thing like backsplashes and windows sills. Excellent workmanship and delightful to work with.

Would definitely rehire and would recommend to others. Steady progress; capable and pleasant crews; overall project finished mostly excellently, although some minor corrective actions not caught through quality checks (perhaps it is customary for owner to "tag" these).
