ASOD Home GroupNo job too big or small, SOD Home Group is the superior choice for all your home needs. My honey do-list had to be growing exponentially over the years, and it finally came to a head when we recently placed our house for sale. It needed a makeover from top to bottom. I went through a cadre of “construction companies” and suffered disappointment after agonizing disappointment. Ultimately, my wife found SOD Home Group online, and I met with Oren the next day. Oren was on time, super professional, and was very genuine. He understood my needs and didn’t persuade me into a bath remodel or room addition. He understood the real estate market and went right to work with his team of experts. In less than several months from the day we gave the approval for the turnaround remodeling project, they had transformed our house into a gorgeous house ready to place on the market. The quality was superior, and they left the house each night very neat and tidy. I really liked the crew they were polite and professional. I give them my highest recommendation. ASOD Home GroupWe hired SOD Home Group for a full home remodeling, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Within a couple days of contacting them, Oren and his designer were at our house taking measurements and putting together all of their ideas. I think they came over 3 times for about several hours each, completely free before we approved and signed the project. The spent time and extra attention was THE main reason we felt good about moving forward with SOD Home Group.The overall process took longer than expected, but nearly all the delays were waiting on the city for permits or appliances delayed because of Covid.Each and every worker at the teams that came to the house wore masks and always laid out protective plastic and paper as to not damage any personal items. The workers were all super friendly and always cleaned up after each day.My wife and I changed our mind a few times throughout the remodeling, and it was always well received by Oren and the office staff. We even received a couple changes complimentary because Oren was so generous.Overall, we are beyond happy with the final remodeling product we got and our new home looks stunning and it has made the most used rooms in our house 100x more enjoyable to be in. ASo Cal Builders & Design IncAvi of SoCalBuilders has been exceptional to work with. We hired him to build a ground-up 700 square foot guesthouse in Altadena. We selected Avi as our contractor, from several we had interviewed, for the following reasons: 1. His bid was very detailed oriented and we are used to working that way. 2. When we communicated with him, he was very responsive and always addressed our concerns and questions. He even caught mistakes or omissions on our plans. His emails were very well written and easy to understand. 3. He was very professional, punctual, and business-like, yet personable at the same time. We also felt that he really knew what it took to build a home. 4. He was willing to work with us on keeping our costs down by giving us credit for the appliances and flooring that we had already purchased. Avi did not disappoint. The construction went well, and if there was an issue, Avi figured out a solution every time. We would certainly hire him again if the need would arise.- sandy h.

ASOD Home GroupOren was the best! He came by in August to look at the house and give an estimate & we clicked right away. Very calm and competent and a straight shooter, he gave us a ballpark & the written estimate was pretty close to what we had discussed. The SOD Home Group team demolished basically the whole house, remodeled two bathrooms, installed a new floor around the house, added new stairs and finished the upstairs room, installed HVAC, and completely rewired and replumbed the whole house in 4 months! VERY fast, in my experience! All problems that popped up, and there are always problems that pop up with even small remodels were handled quickly and to our satisfaction; even the ones that were caused by vendors/delivery companies! These guys are more expensive upfront than many contractors, but they did not go over the expected budget (setting aside project creep-my fault- and the unexpected- see having rewiring the house above) and the job was completed quickly and with no "shortcuts" that you might experience with someone else to keep costs down. If you value up-front pricing and honest work, you'd do well to give SOD Home Group a call for an estimate.- Marla L.

ASOD Home GroupThis was our second complete remodeling with Oren and SOD Home Group. The first time we hired him was for our investment house that we purchased and this time was for our new home. This remodeling went much better than the first (considering the COVID-19). This remodeling included basically each and every space including the complete remodeling of the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, entry, front landscape and back yard. Oren is very easy to deal with and contributes a lot of value-added ideas to the design. We did not live near the new home (because it was part of our relocation) and he’s was very flexible in dealing with us by emails, and video calls including handling many stuff for us. Attention to detail is very good and Oren ensures that there are no loose ends at the end. We highly recommend him.- Wesley J.

AHorizon Construction & Remodeling IncThe upstairs bath had been partially remodeled prior to purchasing my condo 5 years ago. It had an updated vanity and lavatory, but the tub and shower combination were the original fiberglass builder-grade enclosure and definitely showed its age of 30 plus years. I wanted this bathroom to look as good as the rest of my home with a new tub, new tile, and new flooring. Horizon Construction and Remodeling Inc. expertly gave me exactly the bath I desired. Horizon’s showroom had ample samples of tiles and I was easily able to select the bath/shower wall tile and flooring that unified my vision. I did not have to wait long for the job to commence and all work was done as quickly as I could have hoped. The only delays were due to unavoidable waiting for inspections and a holiday that delayed one inspection. For those tasks that did not require an inspection to proceed, the trade contractor would show up the following morning. I was able to have my walls retextured and painted, a new overhead light added above the bath/shower, replace the medicine cabinet, and a new exhaust fan and all fixtures installed for the completed beautifully finished bathroom. My project manager David Eskin coordinated each trade and supplies wonderfully. All of the contractors selected for my project were very professional and I appreciate how quickly and well each performed their trade work. Very dated master bedroom needed a complete facelift which included removal of wallpaper, replacement of floor, replacement of ceiling fan and demolition/rebuild of closet. Mark designed a new closet that I absolutely love--pull outs for shoes and purses, plenty of drawers and shelves and a clothes rod section for things that need to hang. I have no need of a bureau in this room because of the ample organized storage space of this closet! There was a minor issue of sagging on the moveable shelves but this was quickly resolved to my satisfaction. Work was completed in a timely fashion. Thank you (again!) Enna and Mark!- Patricia P.

AOur family is fortunate to live in one of Redlands old homes. Recently we had a water issue in our home that required our 130 year old hardwood floors to be refinished. We received a few estimates and chose to have Redlands floorhouse do the work. From the estimate to the final application of the polyurethane we could not have been more pleased. The people from the Redlands floorhouse were professional, polite, clean and Master craftsman. Nick and Jason made our 130 year old floors look as good as they likely did when they were first installed. We would strongly and highly recommend them and will re-contract with them again, when necessary, to keep our floors looking great. Thank you for a job well and professionally done!

AThey were really professional! Came in prepared and immediately started on clearing out the old carpet and tile. We were scheduled for 3 days, but Monteros got the job done in 1 1/2 days.. awesome! They cleaned up before they left so I didn't have too much cleaning to do afterwards. The only thing is my interior garage door was left off track, but it's an easy fix. Overall, they did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them!

AOld Tyme tore out and hauled away our carpet, prepped and sealed the concrete, and installed Marmoleum (natural linoleum) floors and moulding in two rooms and a hallway. We purchased the flooring from the manufacturer, not through Olde Tyme, so that was a separate cost. These guys do excellent work. They cleaned up beautifully after each day of work, and carefully followed Covid safety protocol as well. The only problem we had was with scheduling. Still, we would recommend this company and will probably call them for our next project.
