Mario's Tile Care & Concrete Cleaning
Mario and his family showed up on time and went right to work on the outdoor tile. The outdoor patio and courtyard, approx. 2400 sq. ft. of Italian porcelain tile had not been professionally cleaned in over 12 years. Mario's team was able to repair 17 tiles that had come loose over the years. The loose tiles had to be carefully removed, cleaned and then replaced. The indoor tiles are now fresh and clean with most of the soil removed from the grout. We were amazed at how well the master bath turned out, it was etched and stained over the years. Mario's 2 cousins spent 2 full days restoring the marble shower, floor, tub area and counter. The marble looks brand new! We are very pleased with their professionalism and quality of work.

    Mike Pike Builders
Mikes people were always on time and very knowledgeable. I am very particular about the quality of work being done, as it turns out Mike Pike is even more particular than me. After hearing the interaction between Mike and his workers/sub contractors, it became apparent to me I didnt have to worry about it anymore. I was very impressed with the quality of work, the time frame it was completed and the price. I would definitely use mike again.

    Garage Door Medics
BEWARE !!!!. Bought a $49 deal from Angie's List....are you listening Angie? Jimmy Love from Garage Door Medic came out for a basic tune-up. Told my wife he couldn't adjust, we needed new springs, $399. She came inside and got me. Jimmy now said they had a "spring special" for $299. Told him that I would get a 2nd opinion and if I found that he was bs-ing me I would post reviews, he said I should, so I am. Called Harvey's Doors, 2 guys came out, said springs were fine, also made an adjustment to the motor. Special ordered a bottom weather strip for the base of the door which no question it needed, will install on follow-up visit. Called Garage Door Medic and told the scheduler my story and that I wanted $49 back. He said he would pass it along and someone would call me. Guess what didn't happen? Tomorrow, I'll do yelp and what eve else I can find. Point of story, don't be stupid like me and call Jimmy Love at Garage Door Medic. Go with a reputable company like Harvey's in Palm Desert. Reading this Jimmy? Angie?

    Allied Services
Mark has been an asset to our facility with prompt and courteous service at a fair market price. it has been our experience that price is not always the priority when we need repairs. quality is what we want and Mark has given us that.

    Patton Door & Gate
Fabulous. The technician was exceptionally thorough and took his time to make sure everything was in operating order. I was exceptionally pleased with the service. The charges were quite reasonable and were less than what I had been quoted by a repairman sent out by my home warranty service. I will definitely use them again.

    Precision Garage Doors and Gates
These guys were top-notch. They gave us a fantastic price (yes, we shopped around) and were knowledgable, punctual, respectful, and clean. The garage door works like a dream. We have a converted carport so nothing about the hardware or install was standard, but Precision really knows what they are doing. Interestingly, while we were waiting for this garage door to be manufactured for our vacation property in Palm Desert, we coincidentally needed some work done on our primary home's garage door. Our regular technician in L.A. gave me an earful about how Precision is a franchise outfit, and has a reputation for skimping on quality and overcharging, etc. The Yucca Valley/Coachella Valley branch was, however, recommended by my Palm Springs contractor who uses them all the time for high-end properties, and I have no complaints. So don't let the reputation of other Precision offices deter you, these folks are an excellent choice!

    Organize Don't Agonize
Diana is a tireless and very efficient organizer. She's like the energizer bunny of organizers!

She put my house in order so that it could be shown to sell. She did an excellent job and it was hard to believe how good it looked after she was done. My house sold in three weeks and I think Diana had a lot to do with it.

After the house sold, Diana packed everything up from start to finish. Everything was packed carefully and labeled. On arriving at my new house , there was no breakage and the labeling was clear so the movers were able to put boxes where they belonged.

I can't recommend Diana highly enough!

She performs "minor miracles" and is worth every penny I spent!!!!!

    ECONO-CRETE
It went well.  They did everything we asked, and it was done well.  There was no clean-up needed by us, they took care of everything so the pool area looked great once they were done.
They coordinated well with the company that was resurfacing the pool (Gardner Pool Plastering) and I did not have to coordinate the two companies.

    Professional Custom Sewing
I first found Cyndi Adamson on a well known website in which she described her alteration, sewing, custom work and interior design. We talked by phone first and I found her very agreeable and a type of personality I thought I could work with--boy was I right on!
Cyndi came initially to solve the issues surrounding fitting affordable online canvas drapes in front of plantation shutters due to the beating sun in our ruthless desert conditions. Within short order she knew what she needed to do, explained it to me and then removed the drapes to take to her home to adjust and sew accordingly. She returned and climbed the ladder and re-installed the drapes which now hang wonderfully well! To think I almost gave up hope on them.
While here the first time I realized she could also help me with another problem--getting several pairs of women's slacks hemmed. I needed some for an upcoming trip and she had them (9 pairs) ready within a week. They were perfect!
Since I've seen what's possible with one challenging patio door's covering, I asked her to find the right material to complete the window treatment of another patio door, challenging in yet another way. To that end she has a good idea of what she needs to do, has bought the fabric and is sewing between my demands (and others) of her time with other pressing projects.
On a subsequent visit I asked her to help solve another problem. I have a lovely vintage quilt that we use on our CalKing bed but it leaves us fighting over every inch due to the historically smaller sizes of quilts generally. I asked her to use her imagination to create something along the lines of an extension all the way around 3 sides that would be similarly 'quilted' by machine lightly and sewn into the last seam of the existing quilt. She had just the idea of how to handle this 'flounce' for lack of a better word that will now give us greater utility of this heirloom piece without fighting so much.
Since I saw how well Cyndi could handle this (working with vintage textiles) and creates such products on her own, I felt she could easily manage finishing the quilting process of 2 children's quilts. That is, I purchased 2 quilt tops online (auction) that were begging for completion. I wasn't sure anyone locally could tackle something like this. Mostly I think of quilters back east, south, midwest or plains. Cyndi's got it all figured out and is completing them as I write. Another problem solved!
Without a doubt, the biggest and most challenging project I've asked her to help with is Organizing my Home! We are doing this working together but I don't know who I could have turned to with prior knowledge of whether I would easily get along with a stranger in my closet, for example like Cyndi! I gave her the basic parameters of not letting me off the hook. Since I've lost weight and don't want a 'safety' supply of clothes to fall back to I needed someone's help with action-oriented questions. She's a real pro this way too! So far, I've filled 2 large tubs for consignment stores (items still with tags that I couldn't find in that overstuffed tomb of a closet), and 6 lawn/trash black bags stuffed full for thrift store donation. She would ask, sort, fold, and those that remained 'survivors' of the process, she would carefully re-hang and position them by an organizational approach that she felt would work for me. Wow oh WOW. I felt like a million dollars watching those pieces of once-loved clothing march out my door for another chance at life. I was never able to do this by myself, was too embarrassed to ask friends, and loving spouse was no help at all. Cyndi, however, was not stymied, in fact, she said she loves helping with Home Organization challenges.
So, with one thing leading to another, after we tackle belts, scarves, purses and shoes, we will turn to the always overstuffed Linen Closet, Coat Closet, and the formidable Kitchen Cabinets! I'm so glad I found Cyndi and that she's so easy to work with, trustworthy, and efficient!  I highly recommend Cyndi to you without reservation!
