    I CALLED WED 9-5-18 SPOKE TO JUAN WHO WAS VERY HELPFUL, AND SCHEDULED ME FOR NEXT MORNING 9-6. GREG DEFONTES THE TECHNICIAN ARRIVED ON TIME, AND CHECKED THINGS OUT THOROUGHLY.     I did some research and had a good idea what might be wrong and cost on parts. Nikita came from company and took a look, I thought it might be a compressor, He said before I spend the money on one lets try replacing compressor control device and keep and eye on it for a couple of days. A lot less money. He said he would come out next day if there is any problem. I like that. otherwise we will just go ahead and put a new compressor in but it was my choice. this is an expensive freezer so investment on compressor is cheaper then a new freezer. I like having options

    Project was done on time and quality was good.? I didn't need to call him back to touch-up his work.? He did his own finish punch list before I went to the property.? He provided me a copy of that list and that work was done before I walked the job for the final payment.? I found no additional work to be done. During the project additional (previously unseen) work was necessary.? He provided a revised scope of work to reflect that extra work.? He priced this additional work consistent with his pricing on the original contract.? In other words he didn't gouge me for that extra work.? I was very satisfied.

    The good news is that David was prompt, professional and thorough in diagnosing a squeak in our washing machine. The bad news is that it's a dying transmission and his recommendation was to just use it until it no longer works and purchase a new one. We found him to be very honest and personable and would not hesitate to call him again for any future needs for our appliances. Yes! He also services refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, etc. He's our new go-to-guy!

    Because we had this fixed just before the low season, we didn't discover the 'lack of fixing' for a several months.  When I called to let them know it still wasn't working, they said it was too long after the repair/service call and they couldn't do anything about it.  Very abrupt, uncaring and extremely costly for nothing!  Because we are still having the same issues with it and we can't afford to purchase another new refrigerator, I get angry that they did this to us.  This past February., I tried to contact them and got some man who sounded like he had just woken up and he hung up on me!  Real HORRIBLE company.  I feel l am going to contact the State of California and complain, as well.  Companies like this should be out of business!!!!!

    I reached Bill on my first call and described the problem (water pump) and he gave me an phone estimate. It was 30% lower than another bid I received from one of Angie's "A" list appliance repair firms who had charged me $160 to just look at it and make a repair bid. I decided to give that firm the job, but they never returned although the receptionist said the owner would call me back, but for 2 days he never called me back, so I called Moonlighting Appliance Repair. When Bill came and confirmed his price, I gave him 50% deposit so he could order the parts and he in stalled it 4 days later. I would definitely use him again and would recommend him for price and service.

    The previously repaired wall oven broke down again on 12/26/13. There was no display on the panel. David looked at it on 12/27/13 and said there was one additional part that had not previously been fixed and he would order it. Two days after he left, the oven spontaneously beeped, displayed an E6 F2 error message and then went blank again. I phone David's office and left him a message about the error message. I wasn't sure if this was the same error message received on the past repair and, if it was, maybe the new part he put in was defective. I phoned Michelle on 1/6/14 to check on the status of the oven part and was told the part was on back order. Spontaneously, the error message displayed again and remained on for a hour or so and then the clock reappeared. Oven began to work again. Bizarre! Part came in and was installed on 1/7/14. I will be using the oven this weekend and hope to not have any additional problems.

    I called Williams Appliance Service based on the reviews on Angie's List. I phoned their office on Monday 9/16/13 AM to report the problem and a visit was scheduled for Wednesday 9/18/13 AM. David arrived on time and confirmed my diagnosis of a faulty control panel. He said he would call me that afternoon with the price on a new panel plus labor, which he did. He was given approval to order the part and said he would call me when it was in, hopefully next week, and schedule the appointment.
    The part did arrive the following week and the installation appointment was scheduled for 9/26/13. David arrived on time and began the installation. When he took the panel cover off from the oven, there was a broken piece inside that keeps the panel connection between the control buttons and the inner workings secure. David said he would have to order a replacement and go back to the office to check the inventory and price and would not charge me additional labor plus give me the cover at his wholesale cost. He phoned later that afternoon with the price and received approval to order the new part. Fortunately, the part arrived in a few days and the next appointment was scheduled for 10/3/13.
    David arrived on time and successfully completed the installation and explained the terms of the warranty for labor and parts.

    I gave most of the details above.  Mr. Hyde came out himself and is very service oriented.  You can tell he cares about the customer's experience with his company.  Most company's would have charged a service charge even though there wasn't anything to fix by the time they got there.
