    One weekend, my boyfriend and I decided to take a look at open houses in search to find our perfect home. Our focus at the time was to find something we liked then look for a Realtor. We walked in to our first open house of the day and there stood a young lady welcoming us in and looking eager to show us around. As we toured the property, she was very knowledgeable and informative of the place and to top things off, she ended our tour in the kitchen where she kept a plate of freshly baked cookies. The aroma of the cookies was a good touch to envision how comforting the place could be. My boyfriend and I were really impressed with her but being skeptics we decided to continue on with our journey without settling for the first Realtor we met. Big mistake!! After looking at more homes that weekend and meeting about a dozen more Realtors, we realized that Joraine was definitely the best. She was young and fresh and was the "go getter" honest type that we were looking for. She contacted us that very day and set us up on a website to receive emails on properties that were within our standards and not to mention, our budget. This proved to us that she was eager to help. She set up appointments between us and the Sellers so we could view the properties we were interested in. Being a wife and a mother of 3, you'd think that after her day at the office is done she'd want to go home and put her feet up, but not Joraine. Being that my boyfriend and I both have day jobs, we were only able to view properties after work or on the weekends. Joraine had no problem with that and once even picked us up from our location and drove us to each property. It didn't take long before we found a place that we liked and she immediately started the process allowing us to close escrow before our projected date. Joraine is very efficient and extremely detail oriented. We found her to be very trustworthy and informative with every step of the process which made it very easy and not at all stressful. Joraine made us feel like our best interest was what mattered to her and that she wasn't there to just make a sale, she was there to help us find then purchase a place we could call home. My boyfriend and I have and will definitely be recommending her to our friends because we know they will get the exact same treatment we did. Thanks to Joraine, we are well on our way to making lasting memories in our new home.

    NorthStar Moving Company gets great reviews, which is the biggest reason I selected them, and two months after my move, I still deeply regret trusting the reviews and selecting them, I can only imagine all the reviews were paid for. The estimator performed a quick and efficient review of everything that needed to be moved. I got the estimate from him two days later, which is long considering this is usually a same-day turnaround event, and the estimate was rather confusing. I responded to him with clarifying questions, but he didn't respond. I then called NorthStar to follow up, whoever mans the phones (we'll call them customer service) did a great job of being helpful. I had to talk to customer service quite a bit to figure out the details of my move since the estimator (who becomes your rep), was not responsive at all. I have to say the team that handled the additional insurance was friendly and helpful too. On the moving day, the moving crew arrived and they were very nice and professional. They however made it very clear that they felt I had a lot of things that needed to be packed and moved (guess the estimator referred to above did not do as decent of a job as I originally thought), and it took their team of 4 people over 8 hours to pack everything. We're talking about a < 500 sq ft one bedroom apartment where only one person lived so you can do the math. I also recently moved from Washington DC to San Francisco, so I have a good frame of reference of what reasonable expectations are. It took them over 2 weeks to get my things to Seattle, a 12 hour drive (my move from DC to SF (ACROSS the country) took 10 days, and cost over $2,000 less). They do consolidate shipments so assume I had to wait for them to get another customer moving this way, all of which is reasonable, but they never once contacted me to let me know all my things in their possession were still okay and when to expect the delivery. After almost 2 weeks I called them, at which point they scuffled around to get to the ever non-responsive rep, and then called me back with a confirmation. Finally, their arrival in Seattle. I paid for full service packing and unpacking services. The moving team was friendly as always, but complained about having to climb stairs to my house, as if it was something I had control over. I have a total of 10 stairs leading to my front door, so we're not talking about flights of stairs here. In addition, I had to pay them additional fees because of the stairs, so not like they had to do it for free. I was available to point them in the right direction for the boxes, but then we realized the moving team in San Francisco did not label all the boxes, so for most of them we had no idea what was inside and had to guess where they needed to go. Most of my big pieces of furniture, including my couch, bed and office desk were either completely broken, or damaged when it arrived. They reassembled my bed but left parts of it out, so I couldn't use the bed until I got someone to come help me remove the mattress and reassemble the bed. Finally, they left without unpacking any boxes. I thought perhaps we didn't include the unpacking services in my quote after all, but when I checked after they left, we did, so they knowingly left me paying for a service they never provided. I'm sure most will read this review and see it as an exception based on all the other positive reviews, I know I did, but if you're looking for a company where you get value for the money you spend. you value being informed, and you'd like your things to be treated carefully, I would encourage you to look elsewhere.

Bay Remodels brought a level of professionalism , scheduling, and quality that any homeowner should demand when embarking upon a major remodel project. They handled everything from scheduling, to permitting, demolition, framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, flooring, tiling, masonry, the installation of new kitchen cabinets & appliances, painting, and managing the building inspection process. Their communications were outstanding, kept the project on schedule, managed their subcontractors base and suggested some higher end finishes that made the project perfect. We would recommend Bay Remodels for any remodeling and construction project.

    Ofer and the team firstly started VERY QUICKLY - he said he would start in a couple of days and he did. Demolition was quick and easy for the team. Throughout the 5 month project (which is fast for the amount of work we did) we had a number of things change because our plan had to change given structural limitations but Ofer and the team were always willing to think through options and work with us on the best solution.

    My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to buy. We went online and found a few open houses we wanted to attend. At the first open house we met Joraine. She gave us a tour of the property answering all of our questions. Joraine was very knowledgeable and professional. We were so impressed we decided to use her as our realtor. We had a meeting with Joraine and let her know our price range and the type of property we wanted. It two months of searching, my girlfriend and i are very picky, but Joraine was able to find our dream house. It was true pleasure dealing with Joraine. I highly recommend her to anyone, especially if you are a first time home buyer with lots of questions. she understands this is a huge purchase and will happily answer all your questions.

    I recently hired IConstruction to replace two large decks that were 29 years old. I had researched the best materials and techniques to use in the fog and salt air of Pacifica. For several years I searched for a company that could do the project. Danny and Rich impressed me from the start. They totally understand every aspect of the project and the challenges of building in this area. Danny and the IConstruction team are all a group of perfectionists. They take great pride in every detail and aspect of their work. They are very honest and fair. I wish there were more contractors like them. They have set very high standards for themselves and it directly benefits their customers. They are not just looking to get the project done and move on. They want to make it the best possible and take the time to make little improvements along the way. You can see the pride in the way they look at the work and all the finishing touches they apply. My two decks turned out totally amazing. The oversized upper deck is built rock solid, far beyond what would normally be expected. The strength and stability exceeds anything I have seen before. I have no worries about earthquakes or 90MPH wind gusts. Danny has an amazing ability to visualize the work and create stunning solutions. My neighbors keep coming by wanting to see the decks. They all look at the decks with awe. I take pride now in pointing out some of the unique things that went into the decks. My neighbors keep commenting about the amazing quality and meticulous craftsmanship. The best testimonial, though, my from my daughter. She said the decks are ���Prefect. Absolutely Perfect. I can't imagine any way of anyone making it better.��� That was what mattered the most to me, and I can't thank Danny and Rich enough. They truly understood my family's needs and went above and beyond to ensure they delivered for us. Another thing I like about Danny and Rich is that they are open to new ideas. I wanted to use a new type of decking material. Unlike many companies, they took the time to look the bamboo composite over and were happy to integrate the product into the design. They took the time to listen and understand the advantages of using it in this weather. I had done extensive research and they made me feel the time had been well spent. I am definitely spoiled by this experience. For any future projects, I plan on going back to iConstruction. I know I can trust the work and get a fair price. If you are looking for a crew that embodies honesty, integrity, hard work, and quality craftsmanship then I highly recommend you give these guys a call.

    We wanted to do a almost full remodeling of our house; kitchen, two bathrooms, electrical, vent, new laundry area, fireplace, and garage. Although Zack did not make the most competitive bid, we decided to go for him because he was the most straight forward of all contractors and, most importantly, the only one who was willing to write down in the contract that he will not increase the cost for the work no matter what. This was a clear indicator of his honesty and that we will not get trapped on infinite extra costs due to unforeseen circumstances. Zack's crew was very efficient and did a good quality job. We visited the house often, and we saw first hand how they were always prioritizing a work well done over doing it fast. Zack and his crew kept us up-to-date during the remodeling and when a decision had to be made they always explained all the options, the pros and cons of each one, but never pushed us in any direction. During the work, we discovered that the sewer pipe was clogged and had to be changed. Zack stayed by his word and he did not charge us any extra money for replacing the sewer pipes. At this point it was clear we made a good decision when hiring him. We are pretty sure that if we need extra work on our house in the future, Zack is going to be our first option. I think it is hard to find a better cost/quality/honesty combination in a contractor in the bay area.
