  The inspector was Eddie Coria who was very thorough, pleasant, explained things to me, etc. Was very pleased with his inspection. Can't say enough good things about him. The only termites found were in my detached guest house. However the recommendation was to do preventative work in the attic and sub area of my main house, and to treat the guest house. It would cost $2300 for all of the above work. It made zero sense to me to do preventative work when I have no termite problem in my home. I thought it was just a way of jacking up the price. I'm sure that is what the inspectors are told to do. That offended me. I will probably tent the guest house since that is where the problem keeps reoccurring. No treatments have helped.

  He pointed out some things that were unrelated to work he was doing that he knew from experience needed additional attention. He is a really sharp guy, and he knows his stuff. He also was very responsive to our realtor when she needed information regarding his report to communicate to the seller.

  This is the second time I have used Borite. Andrew, the owner, did the work both times. 
  The first time Andrew came out was to get rid of cockroaches in our kitchen. Other vendors had not been able to kill all of them.
  Andrew spent most of an afternoon to put the right stuff where it was needed. The next morning, we found a few roaches on the kitchen floor, all dead, as he had told us would be the case.
  That was a couple of  years ago and we  have not seen a roach since.
  I have no doubt that we will have the same results with the termites.

  It generally turned out OK. It���s the 2 nd time they were treating for ants.  Scheduling was good.  The technician was very good and helpful.  They did send a bill after the fact and the service had already paid for.

  It was good. It was high because we have 3 structures and we did major remodeling and the insurance requested pest control so we did it. The guy was pretty responsible in terms of when he said he would come. What was good is that they explained what they are doing and we had to do it. We know that we have termites because we have wooden area. They told us when they're coming, when we should be worried, when we shouldn't be worried so the guy was treating all the job so to me, this was a plus. It was good when he was done. I think they're on the higher end. We shopped around but it was overall what you get for the service and how they do the service so I think you get value. I think we got fair value. They were very good. The guy was pretty good. I would call him definitely at least to explain it to me.

  When Juan arrived to assess the situation in our attic, I showed him photos that had been taken by a furnace inspector on a previous visit which included the presence of vermin droppings and urine in and around the furnace and ducts (which we were arranging to have completely replaced). He checked in the attic and determined that the droppings did not appear to be fresh and that there were no signs of activity at this time (also no animal carcasses). After checking to see that all the outdoor vents were properly secured, he suggested that when the replacement work was completed, he would come out and set traps in the attic. The service would include weekly visits for four weeks to determine if there is access being breached and any animal activity indicated. The first step has been completed, and we have arranged for the four weekly visits going forward. He has also discussed the possibility of contracting for monthly services which we will determine when this particular situation is completely resolved. He even helped to coordinate his visits with my housekeeper so that it will be most convenient for us. Extremely conscientious and thorough in his communication and service.   I highly recommend this company.  They couldn't possibly do this work for less than the price I paid.  I felt like they were very fair, and very knowledgable.  The product they use is safe and we did not have to worry about ourselves or our pet.  The work they did solved the problem immediately.

  Bee Green Natural Bee Removal

  At first I was skeptical that the services I was calling to remove a beehive INSIDE the trunk of our large eucalyptus were going to really save the bees. (We have left the hive alone for years because we all NEED bees.) A few had told me it couldn't be done without cutting down the tree.
  Then I met Christian from BeeGreen. It was a tremendous education to watch him work. First he enlarged the knot hole. He smoked the the bees out of the base of the hive and then used a vacuum to suck the bees into a netted container. He finished up with two buckets worth of bees. All along the way, he patiently answered all my questions about bee life. And as an added bonus, he gave me large hunks of comb with the most delicious honey I'm straining it now. He filled the cavity with foam insulation and sprayed to eradicate pheromones. The worker bees returning to the nest will naturally die off after a week. He took off with thousands of bees headed for his home in Lancaster. I don't know if he keeps them all, or sells them off to orchards. That isn't my issue. My desire was to not kill bees and I witnessed that first hand. Christian was so responsive, he is a real asset to the company. And I can tell he really LOVES bees. He wasn't here that long, so on an hourly basis, it wasn't cheap. But it's expertise I'm paying for. He warned me that other services will say they can't save your bees because they're Africanized. In all his time with bees he's come across it three times. Don't be fooled by bee killers. Use BeeGreen.

  Antimite Termite and Pest Control - Burbank

  They are very reliable and very good. The price depends on what we are having done. There is a big exterior to the house and along our fences; we have never had any problem with bugs. When we lived in Santa Monica, we actually did have problems before this when we didn’t use them. The guys who come out are very pleasant, considerate and reliable. We have never had any trouble at all with them. With regard to price, I think that they are probably a little expensive, but they are worth it to us. We would definitely continue to use them in the future.
