  We are so grateful to have found, and worked with, the folks at Shenon Construction. Undertaking an extensive renovation is stressful enough, doing it to a property some distance away from our first home was a scary thought. We knew that we had to find a team that we could trust to guide us through the project, do excellent work, and be fair. We absolutely found all of that in Shenon Construction. Tom, the owner, held our hand through the most critical decisions, offered fantastic suggestions (both technical and aesthetic), was very professional, communicative, and easy to talk to the whole length of the project. Tom was realistic and fair in budgeting and also in the timeline. We appreciated his transparency and his impeccable follow-through. His workers were experienced, also great at communicating, and generally excellent. I cannot recommend Shenon more. I would have never in a million years said that a large renovation could ever be a pleasant experience, but Shenon proved me wrong! The results are beautiful and we are beyond happy and pleased. We would use them again in a instant and highly recommend the entire team.

  How grateful our family was to find Nancy and her service. A senior family member had over the years accumulated an overwhelming amount of clutter and confusion that filled the home . We felt hopeless that a successful resolution could be easily accomplished , but with this service our problem was totally resolved .   Excellent work at a reasonable price. Provided new (universal) remotes even though they don't sell the brand of our opener. Adjusted/maintained the doors. Programmed cars. Only thing they weren't able to do was reprogram key pad (we just bought the house and want to change the code) since not familiar with the brand.

  Terra is one of those individuals that once you've worked with her you will never want her to leave. She has organized our closets, pantry, garage, craft room and kitchen and I have her come once a month to keep my office under control by filing, labeling and keeping it organized. She has also helped me revamp my wardrobe. Terra is someone you can trust and count on. She does an amazing job and really cares about the people she is working for. I highly recommend her!!

  Nexxus Remodeling Inc

  When I purchased my home four years ago, I used Nexxus for my interior remodel. My experience was stellar. It was an easy decision to use Nexxus and Tony Panterra again for my exterior renovation. The project was incredibly challenging from start to finish. We ran into multiple complications, none of which could have been foreseen. When the house was sandblasted, the scratch and brown coats began to crumble, making it an unstable surface for the final stucco layer. Quite unexpectedly, the house required an additional concrete layer. Multiple leaks were discovered, ultimately requiring that two exterior doors be removed and reinstalled, and the deck refinished and re-waterproofed. There were significant rainstorms, forcing work to be delayed and causing additional leaks and damage. Through it all, Tony and his team were knowledgeable, trustworthy, hardworking, and calm. No matter what I needed, Tony was in communication with me and in command of the outcome, as I knew he would be. None of Tony's merits were a surprise. I had used Nexxus before and knew the quality of the work I would be getting. What WAS a surprise was the shoddiness of the work done to the house by others. A year before I undertook the exterior renovation, I needed to replace a sliding door in the kitchen with french doors. I purchased the Douglas Fir doors from a very reputable dealer, who recommended an installer - "one of our best", I was told. I asked Tony for a bid on the small project; his price was substantially higher than the installer. It was a small job, so I opted for the installer at the lower price. What could go wrong? The door, installed, looked and functioned well...until the rain this winter. I came home one night to a major leak through the top of the door, causing buckling of my hardwood floors and swelling and damage to the door itself. Thank goodness Tony and his team were already there, working on my project. His carpenter, Francisco, immediately removed the door, only to find that the flashing and waterproofing paper had been installed improperly, literally wicking water into my home. The drywall was spared, but it was a small disaster. Ultimately, the cost of initial installation and the cost to repair the errors of that installation were equivalent to what I would have paid Tony to do the work properly in the first place. When I reported the issue to the door dealer, hoping to prevent other homeowners from similar damage, I was told "but he's one of our best installers". I learned an important lesson. No matter how large or how small the job is, I will only use Nexxus for work on my home. Tony's price will not be the lowest bid for a project. I have learned to accept that solid work comes at that price. In my experience, and certainly where my home is concerned, the old adage rings true - you get what you pay for. Tony's work is outstanding and the job is done reliably and correctly the first time. I'm a perfectionist and Tony and I both know it. We joke about it, sometimes we bicker a little about it, but in the end, Tony will not stop working until I am satisfied with the outcome. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I wouldn't hesitate to use Nexxus for any project in my home, now or in the future.

  Master Garage Doors & Gates

  Eric was great. Sent someone out same day. He assessed the job very quickly and very efficiently installed a new opener after giving us the options available. Programmed our cars for us as well. He was very nice and very polite. We are quite happy with our new garage opener. After a few days we had a minor problem with the sensors on the opener and I called Eric who immediately answered and talked me through the remedy. It was resolved in only a few minutes. No problems since.

  Prestige Overhead Doors

  When I called Prestige Overhead Doors, the double, wooden door on our 1928 garage had collapsed. Within 20 minutes of leaving a message, the owner, Navid Rad, returned my call. Although booked for the day with other appointments, Navid promised me that he would send his ���best technician��� to my house between 4 ��� 6 p.m. Based solely on a photo of our damaged door, Navid���s technician, ���Nelson,��� not only arrived on time, but brought the required heavy duty hardware required to repair the door. By 5:15 pm, our old door was opening/closing perfectly. Yesterday, in the rain, Navid personally returned to change the old springs on the door, at no additional labor cost. When you call Navid, you can be certain that a consummate professional, who is an expert in his field will help you. Navid has treated me with respect, with patience, and with honesty. It is clear to me that he is a perfectionist in the work that he performs for his clients. If you call Navid, you will be grateful to have found him.

  Sears garage door repair gives you a 3 hour window and will not tell you the time of that window until the day before. However the service and the technician that came was great! He explained everything and showed me the options and what he was going to do prior to starting the repair.

  Paramount Pavers & Construction

  Isaac and Rudy provided different options on how to replace our old driveway. Their suggestion was to install "pavers" rather than concrete. Pavers come with a lifetime guarantee; concrete does not. Concrete often cracks after a while, so Paramount Pavers prefers installing paver systems instead. Nevertheless, my wife did not like the look of pavers and insisted on concrete. Marriage is all about compromise, so concrete was "our" choice. We were given a variety of colors and textures from which to choose. After a lot of back and forth we selected the perfect color and texture. Paramount Pavers advised that construction would take from Monday to Friday to complete the job. They showed up early Monday morning, removed the asphalt, and laid in a grid of 1/2" rebar. Tuesday nothing happened except that they presumably ordered the concrete mix for the next day. Early Wednesday morning they built edge-framing, poured the concrete, smoothed the surface, and scored the surface (to limit cracking) as we had discussed earlier. This was performed by a group of seven laborers operating like a choreographed dance team - extremely efficient and with great attention to detail. The job was completed by Wednesday night - two days ahead of schedule. We are not allowed to drive on it for a week because it is concrete and needs that much time to finish curing. As of one day post-installation, there are no cracks yet. It is beautiful, and we highly recommend Paramount Pavers.
