It went very well! My technicians name was James W. I just can't say enough about how helpful he was. He really took his time explaining everything to me. I will absolutely use your company again, and hopefully get James again. Thank-you

Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation
The serviceman said he would only replace the rollers. When I asked about oiling the chain, he said he wouldn't do that. When I asked about some of the things that I though weren't quite right, like the light not coming on immediately when the door opened, he said that the deal only covered replacing the rollers, and that is all he would do. Since the light came on eventually, he said it wasn't a problem. He did a terrible job of replacing the rollers. The garage door now makes a huge "clunk" when closing. I'll eventually have to get someone competent to come out and fix things. A total waste of $79 and time.

    Golden Gate Overhead Door Co.
Tim did an outstanding job. It is so great to have a new functioning garage door...I should not have waited so long! Tim was punctual, friendly, and did a tremendous amount of work in a short time. He left the jobsite cleaner than he found it. Everything exceeded my expectations! I recommend Golden Gate Overhead Doors unconditionally!

This is an example of rare good service. The Service team arrived within the promised window. They were able to provide same day service!  Darren and Matt were professional, and courteous. They troubleshooted on the double door and within 20 minutes had determined a number of problems. Darren knew garage doors; this was very evident from my personal knowledge of adjustment and replacement.  He identified a major problem with the door that only a professional with experience would be able to see.  They provided and installed replacement parts, and then adjusted the spring torsion, roller track and cables, opener force and open/close distance.  All work was completed within one hour. They went through a 19 point service check list and made additonal recommendations and observations without trying to 'hard-sell' additional work. The cost beyond a general tune-up included a very needed spring replacement that I can vouch for was absolutely necessary.  I would use AAAA Quality Garage Door Co. again. I recommend them without reservation. I was very happy with the competitive price, and honest service.

    The Alcosta Co. L P
The service provider came out promptly and performed the purchased work. During the time the provider identified that the wrong spring set for a lower weight door was installed, which would eventually cause the garage door opener to burn out. Replaced the spring as well and the door opens quietly and much easier now. The cost of the spring with installation was $295 on top of the original $99 for the tune up and roller replace. Looking online I see that spring seems to be at about $116.00. Which provided $179 for markup and installation seems a little high but I suppose it is a good price. My Perception is that it is not extraordinarily high for markup and installation so I give a rating of 'B' in the Price category.

I was not happy AND did not upgrade. Reason for the C.  AND now everytime I open my gargage door I wonder if I made the right choice.  Sort of wish, I never bought the deal and shopped around. We in fact, were quoted $150 by another garage company - wish I had that guy preform the service.  Lesson Learned.

I thought the guy did an ok job, but he was kinda pushy.  Wanted me to upgrade the rollers, but my garage door is REALLY old and it seems foolish to me to do more than maintain it.  He didn't seem to understand that logic.

    Madden Door and Sons, Inc.
Excellent service. Installation went very well. Jeff was on time and very efficient in removing old door and installing the new door. The only hiccup was several days after the install, the door started giving us problems with closing all of the way. I called on Monday morning and they had a technician out that day and replaced the sensors. It turned out that being mounted on the tracks, the vibration of the door closing caused the sensors to trip. The technician took them off the tracks and secured them to the garage floor. We would do business with Madden Doors again.

It went great. It would take someone with the mind of an mechanical engineer to make it work, due to some irregularity of the garage. He made it work. Everything about is straight and sealed.

    Madden Door and Sons, Inc.
Overall it went well; installation was on time and professional. A week or so later it seemed the door which had been fairly quiet became more noisy when going up and down. We called Madden and they did come out and lubricated the springs and track; and then told us that we needed to lubricate both the springs and track at intervals to keep it quiet. Also that we needed to use two different lubricants, one for the spring and one for the tracts. I'm afraid I forget now which gets which lubricant. The bottom line is that I was surprised that the door became noisier so soon after installation and felt that it would have been nice to be told about the lubrication requirements at time of installation. Even nicer would have been a small sample of each lubricant to get us going. Anyway, don't mean to nitpick as again, overall it was a good experience and we have gotten use to the door being a bit noisy and it does not bother us. the door operates very well and we are happy with it. The price was a bit higher than other contractors but the door is of good quality.
