I have used a few different limo services over the years and To & Fro stands head and shoulders above them all! On time, excellent drivers, clean vehicles and fair prices. What more can I say!

  • I hired a private limo from 5th Ride to pick up my mom and sister from the L.A. airport. My mom is 92, had recently fallen and walking is very painful for her. Solomon (the owner) picked them up and delivered them to our home (about an hour away) just fine.
    I also hired 5th Ride to take them back to the airport when their stay was finished. That's where the problems began. 5th Ride picked them up at 6:00 AM but decided to pick up an "emergency" rider despite the fact that I had paid for a private car. Because of this "emergency" they were late getting to the airport. My mom needed a wheelchair to get to the gate and because the car was late, they had no time to locate one. They had to start walking to the gate. Fortunately they found someone, with a wheelchair, to help. They barely made it to the plane on time as it was loading when they got there. This was all very stressful on both of them and particularly painful for my mom.
    I paid 5th ride $120 (including gratuity) for a private car which I did not get. My mom and sister were made late by the extra pickup (they should have sent another car for the "emergency".) On top of that my sister didn't realize that the tip was already paid for but the driver took another $10 from her!
    I called Solomon to complain about this (his attitude was less than friendly) and he blamed the delay on the traffic. There would not have been a delay if they hadn't picked up the extra rider!
    Solomon promised a partial refund (which I have still not received). It is not enough considering the inconvenience and the fact the driver took the extra $10!
    I will be contesting the charge with my credit card company.

  • Golden State Storage in Oxnard was a simple and a very smooth transaction. They accepted debit cards for local people. That was good and that was a plus for me. Other than that, the truck they had was like a living room and bedroom size kind of truck so it was the right size. I guess it's safe because we were cleaning the yard forge in the next door. It was convenient because they were close and I didn't have to pay for that extra mileage. We had to call ahead to verify the size of vehicle they might have on hand. I think they have only that one large living room or bedroom truck. It was a good price for the service that I got.

  • I bought my brand new 2009 Winnebago Outlook from barber RV on June 10 of 2010. I have been experiencing problems with my new RV and the dealership where I bought it which has changed their attitude and don?t seem willing to make my RV match the condition it was supposed to be in when I bought it. I was told that it would be in mint condition, no damage to the carpets or any other items in the unit, and this was not true. When I picked up my RV and took it immediately to a campground, I noticed problems with the unit. The carpets were filthy, there were stains and sticky items stuck to the carpet that made me uncomfortable walking around in my bare feet. I couldn?t believe my brand new RV seemed used and damaged, and when I went back to the dealership they told me they would clean the carpets ONCE, acknowledging that they had failed to clean them for my final inspection. When I took my RV back to Barber on 6-25-2010 to address these issues and others I had found, I was told by the service manager Justin Smith, that they would get to it when they could and that they were weeks behind schedule, and greatly understaffed. Justin told me I was only allowed to have 7 items wrong with the RV at a time. At this rate we would have to take 2 weeks off from work this year just to address warranty issues. Again, I am only trying to get my BRAND NEW WINNEBAGO OUTLOOK to be in the pristine new condition I was promised and expected it to be in. On 8-2-2010 I brought my Winnebago Outlook back to Barber RV because I discovered quite a few new issues with my RV. In addition to the warranty work, I needed a generator exhaust repair and I asked to have rigid valve extenders installed on the 4 rear tires so I could test the tire pressure. I also asked that a quickie flush which I purchased on my own be installed. I was told they had cleared a lot of their workload away and that they would have it repaired by the end of the week. Then I never heard back from them. I called to ask if they had a price on the valve and they claimed they could not find one, and did not know the price. They kept putting me off, but never called me with any info. I was told by Louis Bricker that ?you knew you bought a floor model and I won?t clean the carpets more than once?. The dirty carpet would not come clean because it was used as a floor model, although before I bought it I was told it would be presented to me in pristine condition. Looking at my sales receipt, there is nothing that indicates that I bought this RV ?as is? and I feel that this attitude change is nothing more than a bate-and-switch tactic. On 8-10-2010, after calling many times and getting treated rudely and given no answers, including a time estimate or a price estimate by the service manager Justin, I was told that they had ordered the part, but could not give me a price nor a time frame as to when they could repair the generator. Justin also told me that they had not cleaned the carpet once again. I am beyond frustrated and think that they are committing fraud. As a woman I feel I need help dealing with this difficult dealership and its horrific service department and its questionable selling practices.

  • THEY WERE ON TIME AND THE LIMO WAS THE RITE COLOR THEY JUST DIDN'T. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS A MINUS WAS THAT ONE OF THE WINDOWS IN THE BACK DIDN'T WORK. AND THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DECORATE THE LIMO With JUST MARRIED SIGNS ON IT WHICH WAS NOT DONE. THE LIMO DRIVER WAS EXCELLENT AND VERY CORDIALL AND PROFESSIONAL.
