    1) Leather install was horrific with unsightly bulges, thread showing, and incomplete coverage.  Car was taken to a shop nearly 100 miles away and when we returned car for repair of inadequate install of leather, we asked to have repairs local as car is a lease and mileage would go against our total allowed.  They would not do local so sent back to initial vendor and promised to credit mileage to lease.  Upon return of car were told they could not credit miles.  Owner was to have inspected as promised.  Owner was not responsive.  We were lied to and misled by sales and service staff on crediting mileage and care was still not up to factory standards as promised by person who originally offered to install leather in the model we liked on the lot.  She reassured us repeatedly of the high quality of their leather install contact.    HYUNDAI CORPORATE WOULD NOT BACK THE DEALERSHIP PROMISE AND SAID THEY DO NOT ADVISE DEALERS TO DO ADD ONS.  DEALER MADE NO MENTION OF THIS CORPORATE POLICY AND WE QUESTION HOW CLEAR CORPORATE MAKES THIS TO THEIR DEALERSHIPS.  THE CONSUMER IS AT THE MERCY OF THIS DISCONNECT IN THE HYUNDAI QUALITY CHAIN.   DEALER OFFERED THIS SERVICE AND ASSURED US OF THE HIGHEST STANDARDS DID NOT DELIVER OR KEEP PROMISES MADE.
    2)  Forms used at time of lease purchase were on a company's paperwork that had not been affiliated with Hyundai for over four months.  When we sent letter to cancel for a full refund and followed instructions on form, it was not only ignored but Hyundai would not even get us to the right vendor for the insurance.  We had to fill out Hyundai forms and were threatened with penalties though we had proof of following procedure on form legally used in transaction.  It took close to a dozen phone calls to get it straightened out over the course of about a month.
    Given Hyundai and Chico Hyundai in particular's gross negligence, misrepresentation, verbal commitments later back out on, etc. made a request that they take back the vehicle and return out substantial cash down.  They refused.  WE BELIEVE CORPORATE SHOULD HAVE MITIGATED OUT LOSS BY TAKING BACK THE CAR AND REIMBUSING OUR CASH, WHICH WAS SUBSTANTIAL AT THE TIME OF TRANSACTION.
    The product itself is new go me so I cannot comment on the car (a Sonata) - but I can and do stand by a strong recommendation to avoid this company based on broken promises, questionable ethics in the sales process, failure to follow up until we went all the way to corporate, and then corporate not standing behind its dealers.  Corporate's out and out refusal to back their dealership is unconscionable in the business of satisfying customers.  I would never do business at any Hyundai dealership - although service updates to maintain the lease requirements will be necessary in Chico.

    Took 2001 car in for DMV renewal smog check. Very detailed in explaining process and cost before work done. This is the third time I have used this company. Very fast service, professional, cost average as others. Have recommended to family and friends. He does a good job. Submits report electronically to DMV which is a great convenience to me.

    The last 3 times I've gone to Triple S for an oil change, I've had an appointment but still had to wait over an hour; even an hour and a half. They changed owners a couple years ago and don't seem to have enough staff to keep things moving on schedule. The job was done to satisfaction, but the wait time was WAY too long!

    My 1998 Buick Century had the anit-lock brake light come on. Oroville Motors was able to get us right in and diagnose and repair the problem. The final cost was even lower than the estimate because they were able to find rebuilt parts. They are very friendly and honest. We will sure use them again the the future!

    I have used S&S numerous times for my oil changes and have always received courteous service.  They are most definitely the least expensive oil change in Oroville!  They have a nice waiting area with coffee, magazines & TV.  In & out in less than an hour!

    Before I took my car to them, I had to warm it up and it ran fine.  After I took it there, my car was not shifting correctly.  They actually did not do the tranmssion work, but who they took it to did not fix it.  After I got my car, my car would not start.  They kept telling me that I needed new parts, which I eneded up having to replace.  I felt they were trying to set us up to keep spending more money with them.

    I like it. It is pricey but it is really good. They tell you ahead of time what they are going to do. They give you an accurate estimate. If they need to keep your car over night, they provide you with a rental. They explain well what the problem is, once they figure it out and what is involved. Their waiting area has a television. They used to have cookies and coffee but they cut out on the cookies after they changed ownership. The price is a little high. Their quality of work is excellent; there is no problem. I would use them in the future.

    I went there on Thursday to get my car looked at because i had noticed some shaking in my wheel and pulling to the left. They checked my breaks and tires for free and let me know an estimate for everything they noticed. My estimate came to below 900 dollars. It was evening and i asked for them to do it how long it would take and they answered 1.5 hours (about). I decided against having it done right then and made a appointment for the next morning at 9:30. I arrived there at 9:40 (got a little lost). I had no ride back home so (which was unusual since they don't offer shuttle rides)one mechanic drove me back home with my own vehicle. The job took until five o clock?! All day. I drove a cab back over to pick up my car. When i got it, the light machine which holds the brake light wasn't screwed in right and hung sort of loose. I didn't go tell them but fixed the small problem on my own. The job took very long. Now my engine light is on and they pulled the code for me for free but told me the diagnose would cost $90???!

    Rip off- they installed cats that are illegal in California and then when the truck didn't pass smog at it's next smog scheck refused to replace them. Said to just bring it in and they'd sign it off (illegally) Refused and demanded money back - looks like we are going to court!

    Briggs Auto Center is very professional, very friendly and very knowledgable. Their waiting room is very comfortable, with coffee, popcorn, wide screen TV, leather couches, and really fun Jack Russel Terrier to play with. I have yet to have any problems with my vehicle that couldnt be fixed at this shop. The price for the routine oil change was more than what others would charge, but I am taking into consideration the professionalism, the accuracy, the nice waiting room, the cleanliness of the shop, etc... I will return to Briggs in the future, perhaps not for an oil change, but for any other major fixes.
