    GTL Construction Inc
Every interaction with GTL was great. Tommy showed up early (accommodating my work schedule) to see the house and start the quote. Brian was a wizard installing the crown moulding - up to 16' sections all by himself. He was profession, nice, and even taught me a couple of carpentry tricks. Finish and paint was done the following day. Everything looks great. I would hire GTL again for future projects.

    Solid General Construction
Nick and his team are awesome! Work was done professionally, within budget and on time! Siding, trim and fascia boards were replaced due to dry rot. The area around the entry stairs was a bit tricky to repair, but Nick custom created a fix to alleviate future water problems and the front entrance looks beautiful! Nick also recommended a small fix of removing a windowsill on the bedroom windows as it was causing dry rot around my windows. The fix was perfect; like there was never a windowsill there. They also took time to explain if I had questions. Look no further than Solid General Construction. It's all in the name! Thank you, Nick and crew!!!

    Powers Interior Contracting
I couldn't have asked for a better contractor. He is extremely meticulous and his work is always high quality. When he comes to work, he works. He doesn't waste time or take excessive breaks. Joe is super friendly, courteous, professional was extremely easy to work with. He's pretty much a one-man shop. His drywall and tile skills are fantastic and he knows his framing, electrical and plumbing. If there is a job outside of his skill set, he gets equally qualified subcontractors (e.g. for our stucco repairs when we had the sliding glass door moved to a different wall).

    Solid General Construction
From the first time I met with Nick Bossio of Solid General Construction , I felt that my wife and I were in good hands. He was patient, personable, and knowledgeable; his price was fair. To say that my intuition proved to be correct would be an understatement. Nick, his brother Zack, and other employee Jesse did outstanding work in removing the old siding from the front of our home, installing new Hardee cement fiber siding and new trim, painting the new installation, and hooking up new exterior lighting. They arrived promptly each morning during the promised period when there was no rain, and finished the job on time. They added extra touches, such as caulking every conceivable nook and cranny, installing metal flashing at the top of the horizontal trim, and affixing routered wooden mounts for our exterior lighting. The resulting curb appeal of our home is remarkable. The finished job exceeded our expectations. Nick and his crew are masters at their craft. It was a pleasure to welcome them to our home, and to see the work evolve to its present state of excellence. My wife and I recommend NIck Bossio and his crew (Solid General Construction) to anyone needing siding or any kind of home remodeling, installation, or repair.

    CHRISTIAN CONSTRUCTION
Jim and his J-crew (Jarrett and Joe) were awesome! I had a not-so-good experience with a contractor who did our hall bathroom, so I was a little leery about doing this job. But I went with Jim for a couple of reasons: he was very professional, but personable; he had a great positive attitude; he had good design ideas; he engendered confidence. When I called, he honestly told me that he was busy and wouldn't be able to help me for a couple of months. That actually worked out well for me. He didn't just set his guys up and let them run with it. He helped me with the design elements, even meeting me at the tile store and the granite place. He was on site checking with his guys often and I was able to get in touch with him whenever I needed to. His J-crew were great!! They were in my home for a solid three weeks, but they were so respectful of my home and my needs, that I actually missed them when they left. Every night they cleaned up as much as possible and left me usable space. They made sure that every detail was taken care of to my liking, and they did meticulous work. I had a design in my shower and a crooked wall that necessitated some very careful work to blend in small tiles around a corner...Jarrett took the time to make it perfect. If you didn't know there was a crooked wall there, you would never notice the subtle work. Jim just stopped over a few days after the job was done to check on everything. He said to wait a couple of weeks to see if any fixes popped up, and he would send Jarrett back to make final tweaks. I would whole-heartedly recommend Christian Construction to anyone; if my mother lived in the area, I would not hesitate to send her to Jim with whatever project she might have.

    Purdy Construction
Jamie Purdy and his co-worker Jacob Goodman built a long fence with large gates across the front of my property. They did their work in a timely manner, on schedule, and for a reasonable price. It should be noted that they are craftsmen of the highest order. It is not just an excellent fence, It is a beautiful fence. They do all manner of work: carpentry, plumbing, re-modeling, etc. Highly recommended.

    HomePRO
Matt Stevenson, the proprietor of HomePRO is the consummate professional.  From our first contact, then on to the estimate, to the actual work, I couldn't say one negative thing about the experience.  After the estimate was given, work ensued, it became apparent that further repair was needed, this was brought to our attention, and before it was done, we were given the option of doing it or not. Matt was very thorough in his explanation of the work and then he followed our wishes to the letter.  All the workers with whom I came in contact were as professional and considerate as was Matt.  We couldn't have asked for a more positive experience on a job that could have been a nightmare.

    Robinson Construction
We called Kevin for a 2nd estimate on the job and he was prompt and gave us a great price and start time, so we hired him. He was to start the job on a Monday and couldn't start until Wednesday, which was OK, since he told us when we signed the contract that he finishes one job before moving to the next and some unexpected delays happened with the previous job. Honesty counts a long way with us. The job entailed lowering a small front home entryway with closet and the entry double doors down to the home floor level. He had to remove and replace some outside bricks and did a GREAT job matching the old brick type that had been on the house ~40 years!! He did a GREAT job installing new sheetrock and texturing to match our existing wall. He came back after we had painted and installed new flooring to reinstall the closet doors. He was tidy and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day and spread protective sheeting. We would definitely used him again.

    Kitchens Made New
Didn't show up the second confirmed scheduled day to finish the project. ( appointment was scheduled a month in advance and reaffirmed the first day of work that they would return at 7 am the next morning.)I called at 12noon and they stated there was a ''miscommunication''. They then came and picked up their tools- they had left in my garage (for the second day of work) and went to start someone else's project. The problems I encountered with the work done are: Some of the drawer colors did not match, incomplete sanding that caused staining over scratches to noticeably stand out. Miscolored stain in other areas and poor work ethics with project. They have not scheduled a finish up appointment and have not called when promised. They would do better on fast, one day rental property type jobs where the owner isn't living on the premises. This is truly the McDonald's of cabinet work and I do not recommend it.
