    A Better Computer Doctor
I have used this company for our computer services before. We are a small, family run company and have to keep our costs down. Computer Doctors have constantly been responsive and professional & affordable. So, it was no surprise that when we needed a totally new computer we used the Computer Doctors. They not only beat our current offer, they also built the computer exactly to specs and with in a reasonable amount of time. They installed it and made sure we were happy. We are very happy with our computer and will definitely use Computer Doctor for any additional computer services we need.

Although they had to take my lap top from my home and keep it for about 2 business days, they got my lap top back up and running again. I had down loaded the windows 10 upgrade and all my lap top did was blink. I couldn't do anything including safe start it.
They did get it corrected and loaded windows 10 for me and make sure it worked.
I have used this company before when my lap top hard drive went out. Again, they took the lap top for about a week and installed a new hard drive. got it up and running as it was prior to the hard drive going out. It was expensive, about 400.00, but I felt worth it. This time they charged me 200.00 for 2 hours of work and I felt that was too high. This is a good company and very responsive. I like staying with companies that have worked for me before but the price is just too high for me. I will probably check around before using A Better Computer Doctor again. But, if I find out the prices are all the same I will definitely return to A Better Computer Doctor.

I was a walk-in at his shop. I needed a two prong laptop power cord for its power supply that my wife had left at a vacation residence. He stated that it would only come with a complete packaged power supply but would search if he had the piece by itself.  Although the plug-in into the power supply was slightly different, he assured it would work. It does, saving at least $60 that would have required the other fix for the solution..

This turned out to be a huge ripoff and waste of my time. Jeffrey Bilger aka Computition has very limited skills and was all about running up his time @ a ridiculous $80/hr and charging additional for freeware and licencing services.
I am retired on a limited income and can't afford this theft.
Most of his time was sitting waiting or texting. Didn't have his own laptop for researching problems, etc.
    He charged several hours but was not able to fix any of the problems I requested, including;
Outlook slow start-up and emails stuck in outbox.
Malfunctioning wifi adapter on my laptop,
    Unwanted pop-ups on computer start-up,
    Wifi surveillance camera issue,
A proper tune-up and more efficient, faster start-up.
All he did was defrag my drives and run a shareware malware removal program which he charged me an additional $180 plus $80 licensing fee (for both computers) before he would remove the "PUP" threats. He used "scare" tactics of likely massive computer failure to make the sale. He then rushed to my bank and cashed my check. Felling something was not right, I found the same program (malewarebytes removal) online for a total cost of $25 annual licensing fee for both computers. If fact he acknowledged it was already installed on my laptop. When confronted, he removed his program and promised to reimburse via Paypal, which he gave me his account email and I sent a money request for reimbursement. He has refused to honor his word or do the right thing and won't refund a penny, referring to his "no refund policy", which was not expressed to me either verbally or in writing during our time together.
This young fellow has no scruples, is not interested in satisfying the customer, and has very limited positive and helpful skills.
I tried to work something out with this guy because he claims to be financially strapped, but he stubbornly refuses any adjustment.
Not only would I not recommend Jeffrey Bilger, aka Computition, but I feel compelled to warn others to beware of this predator.

Our laptop began making strange noises late on a Friday. I checked
Angie's list the next morning and called this provider. Robert told me
he would  be over to my house within an hour. He was prompt and
professional. He diagnosed the problem as originating in the fan, and
said he  could order one online and repair the computer when it
came in. While he was diagnosing the problem, he also performed a couple
of minor services. The fan came in the following Thursday; he came over
and picked up my computer so he could repair it in his home, and
returned it to me in a few hours. I was very pleased with this service.

The service provider showed me where the reset button is on my modem. This works in completing the connection; however, it doesn't really solve the problem. Hitting the reset nearly every time I sit down to the computer is not a good solution. Plus, this connection problem shows up on my laptops as well.  I tried to suggest that the problem might have something to do with the filter where the modem goes into the phone jack, but my suggestion was ignored.
The provider scanned and cleaned up my computer for errors. He then put on Avast as a free firewall and Malabyte on the PC and one laptop. I was charged $40 for this addition. Since then, I have problems with playing anything requiring a flashdrive. I keep downloading the new software, but my computer "protects" me from using it. I finally went into Avast and temporarily disconnected the firewall. That has helped some. I definitely felt that these added programs made it more difficult for me to enjoy watching online videos from Facebook, news stories, and U-Tube. There was pressure to have them installed and some "scare tactics" if I didn't do it, i.e., that my computer would be overrun with viruses. (I already had Norton on there.)
Finally, the provider checked out my problem with not knowing how to get my TV to run DVD's. After checking it out with the main remote we use, he declared that the remote was broken and said I should phone DISH for a new one. I did that later. A week after the provider's visit, my nephew came in, picked up an additional remote that I had also shown the provider, and showed me how to use it to turn on the DVD part. My nephew also said that the "broken" remote was just fine and wasn't meant to use for the DVD's.
For all this, I was charged $162.50, which included the additional time for looking at the TV remotes. The price on Angie's List was, I believe, $79 for two hours of the provider's time. I hate giving a bad review, but this is what happened.

Robert arrived on time ready to work. Had all his equiptment and got started immediately. He explained exactly what he was doing in a way I could understand. He was very nice and personable. I feel like I know him well because he writes column for the Orangevale News&Review answering readers Computer questions. Great experience, has not needed to come back.

The service was very good overall. I found them off of Angie’s List. He answered the phone, gave me a time when he was going to be out there, and called beforehand to let me know that he was running a little late. He was also professional, had an invoice book and filled out an invoice. It was a good experience!

This was a very pleasant experience and I am pleased with the results.  Westin, Express Techs technician, was on time and listened to the problems I was having.  He was very articulate and easy to understand as he explained each step he took with my computer.  The communication with Express Techs in setting up the appointment and follow up was excellent.  Because my computer was slow, Westin could not accomplish everything he wanted to do in the allotted one hour time frame.  (This was on an Angie's list special for one hour @ $49.00).  He stayed an extra half hour to finish with no additional cost to me.
