Alan Smith Pool Plastering & Remodeling
Alan Smith is an Exceptional family pool building company. I had a 35 year old pool totally remodeled, including all new plumbing, electrical, plaster ( New plaster product called Wet Edge ), all new equipment / heater, pumps, etc. I recommend Alan Smith as a contractor with great integrity, and I'm sure you will be happy if you select Alan Smith as your contractor.

    SES Builders inc
SES builders, a truly team of skilled professionals people, recently finished our kitchen remodeling. The involved people at the team were thoughtful and very knowledgeable. Eli, our project manager, optimistically and professionally managed each and every task of the work. We are very pleased with his originality and the worth of their work including the entire team which started with the company designer. Ignoring of how long the work took each day, Eli and his team worked until we were totally pleased. We look forward to starting our next remodeling project with them (which will be our master bathroom remodeling). SES builders earned our highest recommendation!

    Original Richard
It took several attempts to coordinate but he was on time when we finally did meet.  He seemed very knowledgeable. However, his quote was almost twice as high as other quotes.  We received three other bids which ranged from $3,200 - $3,900.  We usually do not go with the low bid but his bid was so much higher than others it was not reasonable.  He did ask if we had received other bids and I told him yes and the range.  As he left he offered to bring his painter to look at the job to see if he over estimated.

    Patchwork's Patching Specialist
Aston was able to come the very next day, which I was extremely appreciative of- he arrived right on time, was very professional and set right to work. He did fantastic work in a very reasonable amount of time and I was charged exactly what he quoted. I truly wish all my dealings with tradesmen and craftsmen went this smoothly. I am extremely happy with both the work and the professionalism, and am 100% sure I will contact him the next time we need anything plaster related in our home. I will also recommend him enthusiastically to friends and neighbors. Really great experience!

    Lillywhite Pool Plastering
They drained out pool with a pump and a hose out to the street, because we had had a problem with the deck drains. Their crews were excellent from those who jackhammered out the old plaster to the crew that did the tile and replastered. They team that did the jackhammering was also on an extremely hot day. They left everything clean at end of each day. Deborah and I communicated daily via text message through out the process, which worked very effectively.  Scott came by several times during the process to check how things were going and to be sure we were happy.  Deborah was very helpful in getting tiles samples for us to select.  I gave them a B on punctuality because the completion date got pushed back about a week due to some other projects.  For the overall project this was not a big deal.
They also recommended Chris Smith's Pool Service to do the start-up process for filling the pool.  We were so pleased with Chris that we now having him doing on-going maintenance and he is replacing our pool equipment, as well. We are so pleased with how the pool looks and how smooth the finish it now.  I would definently rehire and highly recommend them.  They were wonderful to work with.

    Patchwork's Patching Specialist
I chose Aston from Angie's List due to high positive ratings and after meeting him in person. The results were excellent! Very happy with the work and texture. Looks classy! He was prompt on arrival for both the estimate and actual job. Aston did the work himself along with one other worker. The room was completely covered and sealed off with plastic. The entire job from start to finish took just under 7 hours (the drywall / mud technique would have been 3 day minimum). Many of the other reviewers mentioned the quality of his work. I completely agree. There is an art to this work. He is a "craftsman". Very personable and easy to work with as well. He says his prices are not the cheapest but not the most expensive. Worth it! Very labor intensive work. I highly recommend Aston and will use him again for future work.

    Do It Right Remodeling
In August 2012, one of two tenants decided to move out (he purchased a house). He had been living in one of the units for 10+ years with no issues. He had a large dog. The tenant was a little less than perfect when it comes to keeping the unit clean. When he moved out, I decided it was the perfect time to "refresh" both units. Even though one of the units was still occupied, I notified the tenant and let him know of the "remodeling" that was about to occur. The tenant made a few suggestions of his own that he would like to see (remove sliding door and replace with a wall, fix side yard gates, showed us a few windows that weren't working well and/or were missing screens, etc).
I got quotes from various companies. I also contemplated being my own "general contractor".
One of the quotes that I received was from Edan & Aviran (Do It Right Remodeling). They had replaced the roof on this duplex 2 years earlier. Their quote was fair and in most cases lower than others. What really sold me on them was the detailed quote as well as their understanding of what I had in mind. They were able to add things and adjust things in order to make the remodeling
    project make sense.
When I reviewed what the project would cost if I had to manage it myself, I realized that it would simply be more cost effective to hire them to do it. Also, less headaches for me.
They started the project on time and ended on time. They explained to me every step of the way what was going to happen and why. They worked well with my property manager as well as my tenant. We had to move the tenant out for 3 days during part of the project. The coordination with the tenant worked perfectly.
Not every project is perfect and neither was this. The main difference here was that Edan and Aviran really jumped on an issues that occurred. At one point, the city inspector asked for additional work to be completed. Also, after removing the A/C unit from the 2nd floor patio area, we discovered that a much larger portion of the patio flooring should be replaced. The cost adjustments were within our contingency plan and the project was still completed on time.
Since that project completed, Edan & Aviran (Do It Right Remodeling) have been my go to general contractor on all of my rental units as well as my home, no matter how big or small the project is (fixing a single window leak to replacing all windows in our rental unit).
I can't say enough good things about their prices, honesty, professionalism and quality of work. The value they add to a project is incredible.

    B & J Plastering
Exactly as described by others on AL. Brad showed up on time, completed job with excellent workmanship, covered the work area with plastic and left the worksite spotless.
He even communicated with me every step of the way, so there were no surprises.
Not many craftsman exist who can still work with lath and plaster on a coved ceiling - a true craftsman. I will definitely use B&J Plastering again!
