  • Iron side gate digital LOCKEY unit was tampered with and no longer locking. In addition to not locking, the frame around the lock was clearly bowed out from being jimmied. Called Spirit on a Friday afternoon and was promised an appointment the very next day, Saturday. Jacob showed up during the timeframe promised, diagnosed the issue, discussed how it would be resolved, and repaired the lock. Jacob also oiled and cleaned my front door lock. Very pleased with quality of this company/Jacob, who was professional and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Price was fair. Will not hesitate to use this locksmith for ALL my future needs! Thanks Jacob, it was a pleasure!!!

  • Carpets hadn't been cleaned in 2 years. They look like new when finished. His price is great - but the caveat is that he doesn't move furniture. So under beds and a sleeper sofa didn't get done. Otherwise, we spent a couple hours moving all the smaller pieces -dressers, chairs, end tables etc., into the bathrooms and stacking stuff on beds to clear as much carpeted area as possible. A previous carpet cleaner - who also did great work AND moved furniture - apparently has gone out of business. We paid almost the same this time with Excel as we paid 2 yrs ago with the previous company, so our labor covered inflation, I guess.

  • I purchased a motorized cellular Bali blind from a couple of years ago. It's a beautiful product and since the window is in an awkward place and I have arthritis, it has been great to have a remote control to raise and lower it -- until I had to change the batteries in the shade - not the remote. I was able to do that okay, but it reset the remote and I could not get it to work again. The instructions on how to program it are very complicated and never went right and I broke it trying to program it. I ended up having to buy a new one off Ebay as Bali didn't carry them anymore and I couldn't just raise and lower the shade manually so it was stuck three inches from the bottom of the windowsill.....ehrg!@#. Somehow I found Harold and his company Bloomin' Blinds -- or actually he found me. I went looking for an installer who would also be willing to do a small repair job like this. I had a surprisingly hard time finding someone because where I was looking online they all wanted to sell me a lot of new window coverings and wouldn't come out for a service call. I finally tried Angie's List (sorry Yelp, not sure if I tried here or not.) It was on a Sunday night and I had a company I was going to call the next day, (oddly, Bloomin' Blinds was not on the list I got.) but Harold called me first thing Monday morning. When I told him what I needed, he said he could do the job. (Score one for Harold. Normally, I would not have hired a company I did not find myself but I was desperate.) He gave me an exact price and we made an appointment for the following Wednesday. He showed up on time and was a clean and very pleasant young man. I felt fine about having him in my home. (Yes, this matters to women who are often home alone or home with small children.) The blind was in a bedroom and when I went to check on his progress, I found that he had taken it down and taken the motor apart. I had not expected this as I thought he just had to program it. He said there was a problem with the motor and it was not communicating with the remote. I started to get a little worried. I half expected him to tell me he could not fix it and that I would have to replace it. The blind had cost me $300 or $400 I believe even on sale on the website. So a few minutes later when I heard the sound of the blind raising and lowering, I was very happy. He had fixed it and programmed it. I also would not have been surprised if he charged me more money as it had been a more complicated problem than expected, but he did not. He charged me exactly what he quoted. I swear I am not Harold's mom or related to him in any way :-) and had never met him or heard of his company before! I have taken the time to write such a detailed review because my husband and I have had a service company ourselves for 30 years and this is how we do business. This kind of competence and honesty should be acknowledged and the next time I do replace any window coverings, I will definitely call Bloomin' Blinds first!

  • I have used Enrique two times in the past, this time is the third. The first time was a good experience. The second time I used him with a coupon with Angies List for 5 rooms in 2017, and he did a good job, but was grumbling that it was more area than expected and wasn't going to give me the stain protection, (mind you he has been to my house before) so I proceeded to give him $40 more in cash. At that time, I asked him how much would he charge to do 3 specific rooms in my house (a larger master bedroom, hallway and family room) he said $185. I told him I was writing it down on my calendar. So, I called him in November for those 3 specific areas, set up an appointment with him--he shows up, then starts grumbling again about how much everything costs, etc. (wondering why he bothered to take the job) and then he told me he wasn't going to give me the stain protection when he was just about done--AGAIN!!! HE THEN TOLD ME TO GO BUY IT AND PUT IT ON MYSELF--REALLY!!!! I asked him, how much to put it on the traffic areas and he said $85, I didn't pay this time. But this is the real kicker--I just checked Angies List and he has a coupon for 4 rooms with stain protection and deodorizer for $185!!!!!! Here it is: Carpet Cleaning, Stain Protection and Deodorizing for 4 Areas $185 (Dec. 4, 2018). BUYER BEWARE.

  • Jeff came to our home and surveyed the areas we wanted to have painted, and provided me with a detailed quote including when he could start the job and how long it would take. On day one, two men arrived (Francisco & Luis) to begin painting. They showed up on-time (8:00AM) both days, and carefully protected all areas they worked in to ensure no overspray or paint was applied anywhere but where they intended. The results of their workmanship was fantastic. We were very pleased with the results, and appreciated their attention to detail. We will not hesitate to call One Way Painting (Jeff) first when the need arises.

  • Ring ring. "Hello this is Ray" me: "Hi did i all Hillside Plastering?" Ray: "yeah WHAT DO YOU HAVE?" me: "what do you mean what do i have?" Ray: "Plastering, repair, painting da, da, da??" (with an i'm ****** at the world attitude) me: "wow your customer service sucks - goodbye" don't hire this guy he showed me his true colors in about 5 seconds.

  • We were totally satisfied with the service performed by Bob at Best Care. He came out immediately, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part needed for repair, and kept us informed regarding status of the order. It turned out that a second part was required and, again, everything was handled quickly and professionally. We would not hesitate use Best Care again.

  • I couldn't have been more pleased. I believe the pricing was probably pretty average for this type of work; however, the service I received was exceptional. The staff, from measuring to installing, did an awesome job (punctual, thorough, knowledgeable, personable). I highly recommend Anaheim Doors!

  • I would say couldn’t gone better. I can’t give an A rating just because they stucco’d over the air conditioner condensation line in the exterior wall just below the kitchen window. The whole area was saturated and I thought I had a plumbing leak. I ended up cutting out the whole wall to find the leak. Wasn’t until I removed the new stucco when I realized what had happened. I called to get a quote for repair. I wasn’t even going to mention what happened. I also wanted a quote to do my new bbq island. But for some reason he wasn’t overly interested in giving me another quote.
