    Scott Forman MD
To deal with the torn tendon, Dr. Forman explained how to avoid surgery (even though he is a surgeon!). He recommended the Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment and follow up physical therapy. The PRP treatment is working pretty well as I can now walk normally. Also, he is a nice man who takes time to explain things. If I weren't moving out of California, he would forever be my go-to doctor for any feet problems.

I have waited to write this review until the first 6 weeks recovery was reached. I had surgery on May 22 2017 and today is July 5th and I have been pretty much pain free! After suffering for 10 plus years and in chronic pain since September 2016 when we returned from out River Cruise. I tried everything that had worked in the past from my Chiropractic treatment to spine injections, steroids that caused 30 pounds weight gain and a nerve oblation procedure. They eased a little of my pain but only for a week or two...when my pain returned with a vengeance. When I finally agreed to consider surgery I met with Dr. Burdi. He was thorough in his examination, X-rays, MRI that he went over the results with me. He showed me how my L2&3 disc had collapsed and were now bone on bone causing my extreme pain. He said I was a perfect candidate for XLIF surgery side entrance to remove the collapsed disc. I was more impressed with his explanation of my problem and how the XLIF side entry surgery could fix & relieve my chronic pain than the Neurosurgeon's back surgery I was considering. Not only am I now pain free but my recovery has been every bit as amazingly easy as Dr. Burdi described. I am moving with such ease it is hard to believe I had major back surgery just 6 weeks ago. My little scares are healing and very small. Mission Hospital"s Spine Surgery floor was impressive and the staff very caring. I know understand how people love their Doctors and Dr. Michael Burdi is the best!

    John J Lee M.D.
He was excellent. He is fairly young. He looks like he is in his 30's. He has a very good bedside manner and he is one of only 2 doctors that do a frontal approach for total hip replacement which was a lot less downtime with this technique. I was blessed to get him.

    Dr. Jerold T. Litoff
He is wonderful.  He spends so much time with each patient so even if you wait you know you'll get the attention you deserve.

The surgery went off about as well as anyone could expect for something no one in the world wants to do! For my pre-op appointments, everything went smoothly. No long waits (in fact, this is the first time I've ever had a doctor's appointment at a specific time and within 10 minutes of that time, I was talking to the doctor.) Overall, they gave me a lot of confidence before the surgery based on the knowledge of staff, the appearance of the waiting rooms and offices and the amount of communication. During the surgery, everything went very smoothly. If I ever need orthopedic surgery again, I'll be coming back. I had Dr. Ip, and he did a fantastic job throughout the process.

The whole clinic is comparable to an upscale hospital. They have all the different doctors that specialize in orthopedics. They have everything you need might need when you go there. It is a big facility tucked in between apartments you would never expect it. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. I like that they are so efficient and their world is all contained. I liked that all the doctors had my chart, and the doctors actually called me the night before to make sure they had a complete medical history. The doctors were professional and did their jobs well.

They have always been very good, they are very casual and are willing to talk about your problems and answering the questions that you ask.

I believe that there are 6 practitioners in that group. My orthopedic surgeon there fixed my leg that was not properly diagnosed for 2 years. Five days after the surgery I was walking up and down stairs without assistance. When I go to the office I work with the same team in the hospital. They are the same people that I see for postoperative care and physical therapy. I know who they are and they know who I am and that is important. I am a nurse and I have never had care like the care I have got from him. I would tell others that if they had a bad knee, hip, shoulder or bone I would recommend him. Everyone one there treats me like an adult and not a 5 year old. No surgery is performed in this practice.

    Congress Medical Associates Inc
Congress Medical Associates are the best in town! We have seen two doctors at Congress Medical Associates. Dr. Diehl has seen all four of my family members at some point. The practice is superb. They have a full compliment of orthopedist, that cover every possible part of your body. I have seen him for wrist, back, leg, foot, and a shoulder and neck problem. They try to resolve your problems through therapy. If that doesn't work then they recommend surgery.

Nima taught me some stretching and it was very helpful. She also used my cell phone to take videos so that I can take it to home. Thank you Nima!
