    Homework Handyman
Have had several run ins with this man and he is actually hired by my neighbor to perform general handyman services. I cannot attest to the quality of work, however I can attest to his professional attitude and professional demeanour, which is horrible. He was very loud going in and out of his work van, slamming his doors early in the morning. All of his commotion getting his tools from his work van has woken up my daughter on several occasions. On his last visit, when I went over to ask him to move his work van out from in front of my daughter's room, not only was he rude, his dog(that he brings to all of his jobs,is very aggressive) attacked me, bit the inside of my leg and broke the skin. I received no apology. He did not return for several months but now he is doing more work on my neighbors house and unfortunately very little has changed. He is still very rude and inconsiderate that he is working in someone's neighborhood, and still brings his aggressive dog on his jobs. Feel free to hire him, but be prepared to visit your doctor if he's got his dog with him.

Scott was great. Professional, attention to detail, high quality work.  I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants professional quality work at a reasonable price from an honest contractor.

    Joe Riordan
I have personally known him since the mid eighties. He does good work. He is a very nice guy to deal with. He is just a wonderful person to have around, very positive and very up on things in any kind of situation. He gets along with everybody very easily. His price is very reasonable. He has a lot of clients that he does return calls for. I would absolutely recommend him.

    PETER REED
EXCELLENT. We found Mr. Reed through Angie's List - our first job was a kitchen cabinet addition/remodel, and he did a great job. The next job was a custom arched double arbor and fencing and arched gate, on ground sloping in two directions, another totally custom job with excellent results. This custom closet project with the curved back wall again was excellent. I would recommend Peter Reed without any hesitation, he is undaunted by tricky custom projects, he went the extra mile to meet the surprise closet time frame, and he is a pleasure to work with and exceptionally talented. A credit to Angie's List!

    PETER REED
This is the 2d time we hired Peter Reed - the first was for kitchen cabinets - and this is the second A+++++++ job he has done for us. The custom fencing and arbor are perfect. When you look at it, you don't realize that the ground slopes in 3 different directions or that the arch covers a trapezoid instead of a rectangle. Peter Reed was careful of the plants, cleaned up each day, and was truly A+++++ - it was a difficult custom geometric problem to noodle out and he was a pro at it every step of the way. Again, We had a concrete with brick pad that had been installed previously by someone else. Peter Reed was asked to fence three sides with redwood fencing (one side with an arched redwood gate), and to leave the fourth side open. This entailed removing one chain link fence and replacing it with redwood. We wanted the three fences to be different heights, to capture a view on the street side. The new fencing had to be dog proof on the gated side, because on the other side of the gate we have both a 140 pound dog and a squirrely-goes-under-fences 10 pound dog. Peter Reed was also asked to create a redwood custom arbor over the whole brick pad three-sided multi height fence, and we wanted that arbor arched, and after the arbor was installed we wanted Peter Reed to transfer two kiwi plants from the old chain link fence to the new redwood arbor. One of the things that made this project potentially difficult was that the pre-existing brick pad sloped in MULTIPLE directions - the pre-existing pad sloped down towards the street and at the same time it sloped side to side in a broad V shape so Mr. Reed had to deal with at least three different slopes. Also the pre-existing pad was NOT square shaped, every side was a different length which meant the arched arbor was wider in the back than the front, and was narrower on one side than the other! If that's hard to envision, imagine how hard it is to cover with a custom ARCHING arbor and not have it look uneven or catawampus, but Mr. Reed executed it PERFECTLY. You don't even notice the various slopes or uneven sides. Peter Reed was also quite careful with the two kiwi plants - they made it through the whole process without damage and now are happily growing across the whole length of the trellis.

    Dean Adams Handyman
My neighbor hired Dean Adams to replace the fence where a couple of fence posts had rotted causing approx. 20 foot section to fall over. He worked on it for 2 days. I paid the second day of his labor charge that he said was $40.00/hr. I probably would hire him myself if his per hour charge was more reasonable. Come on, it's a fence - it's not rocket science!

    PETER REED
Created custom kitchen cabinets to supplement current kitchen cabinets, which entailed not only precise measurement but critical color matching - the color match is EXCELLENT. We also added on three custom decorative shelves and pegs and he created those from scratch to suit our needs, including gallery rail, etc, all matched colorwise to the existing cabinetry. He did a GREAT job on the entire project. No one would guess where the new cabinets are vs the old ones. He is very patient and professional. He cleans up after each days work, which we really appreciated. He was willing to listen to our design suggestions and answer questions. We have already hired him for a second project.

    PETER REED
Peter Reed installed some sound panels for me on the walls of my music room. We need a handyman from time to time, and I thought this would be a small project for us to get to know each other. Peter was professional in every way, and did an excellent job with the panels. He followed what I asked him to do to the letter, solved a couple of problems along the way, and did it all with a pleasant attitude. He did the job in less time than I thought it would take him. Clearly, he knows what he's doing. We've already asked him to start on the next project for us, and will have him back soon. I recommend Peter highly !

    Ojai Termite & Pest Control
The job took a couple of days and my only complaint was they were not very punctual. Other than the crew showing up later that they said they would, I was extremely pleased with the quality of their work. I would use them again without hesitation.

    Ojai Termite & Pest Control
They did an excellent job.  Kenny originally came by to price the job.  His crew then came and completed the job in one day and cleaned up after themselves.  Afterwards, Kenny came by to make sure the work was up to standard.  Also, before we had the work performed, we got three other estimates and this company was the cheapest.
