  • I have been with this vet for both my past and current dogs. They have only gotten better with time. They are very responsive and have great customer service. Every vet that I have worked with has been wonderful and my pup is always well taken care of. Their prices appear to be on par with other vets in the area.

  • I would say the biggest thing is depending on who we are talking to there at the time, and we’ve been there several times, communication is not always good and it’s not consistent.  We get like different information from different vets.  It’s hard to be comprehensive about all we are doing for our dogs when we keep getting kind of different stories from them.  And also, I think we’re still suffering although I don’t know that they would be any different than anybody else, we’re suffering from sticker shock out here in California about how much it costs compared to what it costs somewhere else. But I am guessing that is probably across the board out here.  I can’t really compare them to other providers in this area, just what we were used to elsewhere.

  • Amazingly good. Nancy McMorris visited with us before I left. She was so calm and comfortable. He relaxed fairly quickly. She is more of a cat person - and I have a cat that was feral and NEVER lets anyone near = but quickly warmed to Nancy!! But Nancy intuitively got that Bucky just needed to feel secure with her. She was very kind to him and not at all put off by his "pushiness"and prickly exterior. So I felt secure with her. When I came home my pup was comfortable, did not show any signs of stress like he often does when i am gone, and i could tell he had been care for. So A+++. I have a strong sense that this is more than just a "professional dog sitting company" it is a labor of love, and everyone is there because they care about animals.

  • He is all better now. They're great. You can either make an appointment or you can go in emergency hours. The vet is fantastic with them, they love the dogs. I keep going back because of their service, their friendliness, their prices, their knowledge, they're the best and they're 24/7.

  • Everything is expensive now and days. Their quality is good. Their punctuality is good. We always make an appointment, so I would say the wait was about 10 minutes. They know my pet pretty well, so they interact with him pretty good.

  • I have used this service several times and it is great to have someone reliable and caring to take care of my cat. I am so grateful to be able to leave town with no worries about how my house and cat will be taken care of. Daily photos and text updates are a great perk.

  • They are very expensive. I feel they are kind of high, even though I like the vet. I really like the support staff. The vet tech, Monique, the receptionist is very polite, they love the cats in there. But they are really expensive. I'm going back on Saturday to get my cat her shots. They are really nice. They have coffee and cookies. I love their kitties, they have clinic kitties. I just feel they are kind of expensive. For just a vet visit it is $70.

  • My dog can't contain her excitement when Laura picks up my dog for their walk. Laura puts her in the crate in the back of the car for safety. She gives her plenty of water and love and "good girl" treats on the walk. And wipes her down with Tecnu afterward in case my dog brushed by any poison ivy.  Laura drops her off inside the house (she has a key) and makes sure Dora has water in her bowl. She gives my dog a big hug and then my dog sleeps for the rest of the day.

  • When I retrieved my dog, he had a rather large gash in his face, which APH claimed to have no knowledge of an incident during my dog's boarding stay. I took him back in to have them examine the gash and my dog reacted unusually  (nervous and agitated) to them even trying to examine him, which led me to believe that something did in fact occur while he was being boarded. APH vehemently denied any incident and also wanted to charge me for the exam. I would not recommend them and have no intentions of doing business with them in the future.

  • Heidi and her team looked after my cats whenever I left town - for the entire 16 years I lived in Oakland.  Finding a new pet sitter was the hardest thing about moving away!
She was reliable, responsible, and loves all animals.  I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
