He and I had somewhat of a disagreement. I used to be covered by a private healthcare when I was working and when I retired, I had Cobra where I had to individually pay for my health insurance until I turned 66, and then I signed up for Medicare. When I signed up for Medicare, I had to change health care providers so that was how I ended up with Dr. Hart. In the process some of my medical stuff changed in the sense that for years, I had been taking Statins for high cholesterol. By the time I changed over to Dr. Hart, my prescription for Statins had expired so I went to see him. I told him that I wanted to get a new prescription for Statins. Statins do a good job. They would get your cholesterol count way down, but he is very, very reluctant to prescribe those to me. He keeps giving me long lectures about diet and exercise. That was the problem. I am doing some exercises but they are not enough to really make a dent in that. Part of me is kind of annoyed and frustrated that he just wouldn't go ahead and prescribe Statins, but I have friends of mine who are doctors who are saying he is doing the right thing, and I should go to the gym more. His availability is okay. I showed up for an appointment one time and they said they forgot to call me but the doctor had to do surgery that morning so he wasn't there. The staff is friendly, but she wouldn't get back to me on anything. She was supposed to call me for this and for that, but she didn't call me. She was supposed to call me with a referral from another doctor but she didn't do it. I had to call her back.

I've been trying to get an on going problem with my hearing aids fixed. They changed the previous technician who was excellent. It took over a month to get an appointment for anything. The new guy there was simply wrong about what he recommended and I tried to discuss it with him because I'd ha experience with big hearing aids. I felt like I had a good idea on what was wrong. He gave me the weakest sort of bs about why he didn't want to do it. I had a great service to begin with and then those problems mounted especially with this guy. I was going to buy a new set, then I decided I wasn't going to.

It went well. She is pretty booked. The only thing is I can’t get the appointment, she is very busy. But overall, we are happy with the doctor we get to see from the group. Generally, they are pretty responsive when I have seen someone and I have had a good experience in my appointments. Generally they are good.  I haven’t had so many visits that I can comment in detail but the staff looks fine. There was one experience I had where I was miss billed.

I have been using them for 5-6 years off and on. The doctors have been fine, but it's mostly just what my insurance has been dealing with so that's where I go. It was fine. Everybody was nice. Nothing stands out particularly. Their availability has been fine. I have usually been able to get an appointment.

Dr. Swan has been nothing but awesome, she is warm, compassionate and you can tell she really cares about each of her patients and I actually like going to see her despite having a long drive. She also works really well with my other treatment providers. I can't say enough how wonderful she is as a doctor & a person, She's one-of-a-kind.

I think Kaiser in general are exceptional, but in general have kind of a lower standard of care. I think it is the lowest common denominator. There are exceptions to that; there are specific doctors that I think are very good but you really have to work the system.

That specific Costco has an excellent technician. I like her knowledge and skills. We've previously take twice as much at a hospital and we return them during the warranty until the warranty had ended, it wasn't working at all. It's the best price and their skills were excellent. That's in Costco San Leandro and my neighbors referred me them. My experience to them was superb. I recommend them for their savings, convenience, and quality. She did the the hearing aid for my wife and she has an excellent understanding what is the hearing problem and for what is the best solution. We were most disappointed paying all that money to a hospital and a doctor. The Costco has the after service and responsiveness. There was a new accessory that would be helpful in adjusting the various tones of hearing through handheld thing. You can adjust it in a restaurant or in a theater. She was very nice and she just told my wife about it. It's all very good. You can get an appointment maybe a week to see her.

Dr. O'Connor is an all-around great doctor. He is kind, patient and takes the time to carefully listen to his patients and to explain complex health issues to patients to ensure they leave full-informed. He is also extremely flexible and has taken me at times when I was running very late due to traffic issues or a meeting that ran over at work. As a result, the wait to see him late in the day tends to be long -- I've waited as much as an hour or two past my scheduled appointment time to see him for a routine visit. But, given how flexible, patient (no pun intended) and thorough he has been, I can't complain. I'd rather wait for quality time with my doc than be rushed so he can stay on schedule. If you value punctuality over all else, he's not your guy.

She's always excellent. She's very approachable and explains things very carefully and thoroughly. She makes her patient feel like there's no mystery to your health as far I feel like everything is very clear to me. He's also extremely thorough. She has very internal care.

discussed my hearing loss; referred me to a rheumatologis for my dryness symptomst; said staff would do a referral; never heard from their staff; discussed how to handle my dry nose. Dr. Lewis is very detailed and gives you a writeup of his suggestions which is very help. You did not feel rushed at all during the appointment.
