    I would use him again. We have used him twice. My husbands brand new truck was hit by a car and he did the repairs on that. Mine was private because I am restoring my car. Buddy is a young family run business. He is very fair with pricing. Much lower pricing than anywhere else. We got several estimates on my husbands truck before we went there. He treats you like family. Everybody is like family or a friend. He goes the extra mile to make sure everything is done right. He guarantees his work for the life of the car. I cant say enough about him. He is the most wonderful guy ever. He is another one who will tell you what needs to be done and what can wait, and different options for replacing or repairing. He turned my beat up van into looking like a brand new vehicle.

    He specializes on Japanese cars. He does not do American cars he is a foreign car specialist. His prices are outstanding. I could not get a better deal anywhere. His oil changes are less than the 10 minutes oil changes and he does more. Steve goes through everything. Checks all the fluid levels, makes sure your brakes and power steering are filled. I had some other things done at the same time. I would use them again. It is family run business. They are just such nice people. Steve will tell you if it is worth having something done. The clock in the car went out. He said let me check to see how much it would be to replace it. It was $440 for the part and he talked me out of it. He will not do work that he does not feel is necessary. He tells you what you can wait on and what you need to do right away. I like that it is a family business. He has done a lot of work on our cars, and family members. That is how I found him through a family member.

    I would use them again only if I had to. I went to them only because it was a transmission. The reason I went there was because I needed a transmission and it was the 3rd one that went in. I wanted a specific one. I got their name from a website. Their price was a little high. Higher than other places. But I wanted a specific transmission, I did not want a rebuild of my own. I had a bit of a problem with someone that worked there. Basically I caught him in a lie. Another place was helping me out with some of the parts. They said I could bring my own parts and installed them. Then when I go there they said "No we cant do that, we will have to make more because we cant make money off the parts". But they told us we could do that or we would not have done that. Then the guy told me that it was his boss that was mad and it was actually him. Caught him in a little lie there. I did not appreciate that. As soon as he explained it to me I took the parts back. My original estimate was $9000. I only had $6800 done by them and the rest done by someone else. That is the only reason. I feel like they were shady with that part of it. As far as the work they did a good job and it seems to be okay.

    I would use them again and recommend them to others. After the work was completed they pretty much gave me a rundown of all the problems that existed and pretty much told me what I had to look at in the future. In terms of the work that he did he had all the parts that he had to replace and showed me what he replaced and all of that. What sticks out is that he backs his words, he had installed a water pump that was ridged and failed within a year, so he replaced it for free. I don’t think there is anything he needs to work on.

    My car was in bad shape and I needed a car right away. They lied to me about the color the hybrid I wanted came in. I wanted a white and black car. They said only green forest. I later found out that they had sold black and white to other customers. That was very deceitful to begin with. So, me without a vehicle, I have a green one and everybody has the same color. The first oil change I had there, they forgot to put the oil plug back in. I was driving home and the red light came on. I stopped and had the car towed back. They do not provide loaner or shuttle service. I had to find my own transportation. There was no oil. The engine was bone dry. I call the California Consumer Affairs Dept and they inspected for engine damage. They kept the car for 3 days. They were so nasty. They didn't want to accept responsibility.

    They did an extremely good job and were able to install the new Cadillac Converter for a great price. My husband also asked about replacing the muffler, which is showing some age. They were honest and told him that the muffler was in good shape and didn't really need to replaced. Honest and great shop all around!

    They promised equipment installation on my car but failed to inform me they couldn't complete job until I had already driven 50 miles and had requested the assistance from others for caregiver coverage for that day. A two minute inspection of what was ordered and what was delivered from their supplier would have saved me a wasted day and would have been the professional procedure. My reward was a "Sorry about that but you will have to come back again"
    Then their "supplier" screwed up again when the part did not arrive as promised so I had the opportunity to sit around and wait hoping their "supplier" would not fail again. Unfortunately I again had already driven the 50 miles since again I had not been alerted of the problem. I wonder what they would have said if their "supplier" had screwed up again. Again, a two minute request of a tracking number with the appropriate follow up on shipping status would have been the professional thing to do.
    Eventually their "supplier" came though...

    Hans is exceptionally knowledgeable, conscientious, honest and kind, and he has a great team.
    I'm not a car person except that I need one where I live, so I have one. When my engine was started smoking right before the Golden Gate Bridge one hot afternoon, I called Hans (in kind of a panic) and he calmly and patiently gave me great instructions that got me home and he fixed the car the next day.
    Everyone I know who's tried Hans has been so impressed with his pricing and work that they've become loyal customers. He also does warranty service on new cars despite what dealers may tell you. He even has a great reputation among other car professionals such as the man who used to do the AAA towing, other mechanics and body repair people in Marin, and even my insurance agent has had other customers who swear by Hans.
    Oh, and another great story. This reflects poorly on the company that hit me rather than his shop, which has safe out-of-the-way parking for their customers. My car swiped (unknowingly by a company truck). Hans' mechanic heard the metal then ran down the truck (I'm not kidding) and was able to get the driver info so his insurance covered the damage (scape along my hood).
    Hans has ensured that my Accord V6 and Nissan truck have continued running well past 200K and 250K, respectively. Even when my funds have been limited, Hans has prioritized and worked around issues so I could continue driving safely. He's also given me great local referrals when the car needed something other than what he does.
    Hans cares about his customers and makes sure we don't have to worry about our vehicles. His website is well worth a look as well, especially the section and quot;auto tips.and quot; Hans and his team are truly the best!

    Easy to deal with over the phone. They were busy at the time and it took about four weeks to get the car, but that was fine with me. A lot of "carriers" out there in internet land are actually brokers with nameless small time people who will actually transport your car. Not so with reliable. The drivers/operators own the tractors and lease the trailers from Reliable and act as their agent. They are the best in the business and their service reflects this. I would not hesitate to call them again.

    Without a doubt if you need Mercedes service anywhere in the SF North Bay this is the shop to go to. I have a CL500 and a R350 Dave does all the repairs and did a pre-buy on the R-350 before I bought it. Honest, fair and will give you the best service at a reasonable price.

    I spent a number of years as an Army Aircraft Maintenance Officer and I know a great wrench when I deal with them. He is a three time Mercedes Master Guild Mechanic who will keep your Mercedes is top shape for 40-50% of the cost of a Mercedes Dealer. Everyone I have referred to Dave swears by him and refer their friends.

    Bert his partner is a long time BMW mechanic and dealer shop foreman, it only took a few minutes for me to figure out that he is the same type of great guy as Dave !

    You will not be sorry if you use them for all your automotive service
