    Sears Appliance Repair
All of the workers were great. I did need to obtain the building permit on my own. There was a mix up at the manufacturer of the backsplash tiles. The box was incorrectly labeled and the wrong tiles were installed. They had to remove the first backsplash they installed and replace it with the correct tiles that had to be reordered. One of the granite pieces had a 15" wide color difference from the rest of the slab, so they gave me a discount. Glad it's finished!

I thought they were very thorough. My dryer was over heating and they figured out that it was caused by the dryer vent on the outside of the building that was dent. It wasnt opening all the way and they fixed that. The workers were fine. One was doing the job manly and one was a trainee.

    Sears Appliance Repair
It took a very long time, 3 weeks to get an appointment, then 3 more weeks for parts and next appointment. The problem wasn't fixed, called the same day of second appointment was told can't do anything until tomorrow after the repairman had entered that day's appointments. Lady was condescending and rude on the phone. Tried the chat line same story, asked to be contacted by a manager, cricketts. Called the next day, 2 1/2 weeks for the next appointment, it needs a different part, can only be ordered by a technician after evaluating and another 2-3 weeks for return with part. What good is a service program when it takes 3 months to complete a repair?

The sad part of this story is it is the same problem it had a year + ago, I told them the keypad needed to be replaced, that is what fixed it last time after four visits. No record of last repair, the tech has to follow what the computer says is the problem after inputting symptoms. So same story, replace the motherboard, problem is back in a few hours after tech leaves, have to make another appointment, weight, order key pad, another appointment and install the keypad. Their system is so rigid they can't insert common sense or customer service anywhere in their process and believe me it is their process developed to meet their needs. With the similarities of appliances and service plans I will certainly be going else where in the future, I have purchased my last appliance from Sears, I suggest you consider doing the same.

    Kelly's Appliance Center
Our washing machine stopped working in the middle of a wash.  We called Kelly's Appliance Service and they sent an excellent technician named Dane out to our place within a few hours.  After removing the defective water pump, Dane found a new and upgraded replacement pump in their warehouse but would not be able to install the pump until Monday morning.  After he left he called back and told us that the pump was going to be delivered to him and he would be back within an hour to finish the job?which he did.
I am impressed by the very timely, thorough and professional manner in Kelly's Appliance responded to our needs.
By the way, not all appliance services take care of 11 year old washers and stock replacement parts.  Several appliance repair businesses would not even service our old washer or come our and determine what was wrong.

On time. Received courtesy call 15 minutes before arrival. Had replacement part on hand. Total time on site less then 90 minutes. Price was resonance. Tech was courteous and polite, left behind no evidence (other then a working machine). Final price was a few dollars under quote.

    Larry Wick
Larry was great. He did trouble shooting with me before he even came out and I was able to fix it. I will definitely remember him next time. It's great to have someone who is not trying to charge you $120 just for a visit to your house when a repair isn't even needed! And very gracious about it too.

As soon as we met Mick, we knew we could work with him.  We interviewed other contractors, but came back to Mick.  He is personable, reliable, organized, and he always kept us informed via email, phone or in person.  We tend to micromanage and he was very accommodating and tolerant of our involvement.  He treated us equally as far as decision making went.  There were a few change order issues that were worked out.  We've had to have the tile guy come back a few times to finish some details, but everything looks great and functions well.

    Larry Wick
Larry came over promptly and was a delight to work with. He took the whole freezer apart and tested all components; replaced one which was questionable. Impressed me as being knowlegable and professional. When part came in, he came back and installed it. Everything was terrific except problem remains unsolved. I like him and would use him again, and he charged a very reasonable price, but I still don't know how to fix my problem. So I liked everything about the experience except the end result.

    Larry Wick
Larry is a very nice guy. He cleans up after himself and does an outstanding job with appliance repairs, although he advertises as a handyman. I've had guys from Sears appliance service at my home who were not as knowledgeable, equipped or competent, and they charged a lot more than Larry did. I think he needs to raise his labor rate just a tad. He's worth more than he currently charges, as his workmanship and customer service is excellent.
