  • Nick is excellent!!  This my second encounter and I couldn't be more pleased.  I will continue to employ Nick for future projects.  He goes above and beyond what the job entails and is VERY pleasant to be around.  Nick is both friendly and professional.  I couldn't be happier with our association, and hopefully showed that by paying more than he charged.  You can't go wrong with Nick.  Thank you.

  • Overall we are very pleased.  Our thought was to hire them to do the wall repairs and have another tile contractor do the back splash.  We are happy we had HandyCrew do it all.  It's done and we are getting the kitchen ready to paint.

The entire process from bid to completion was done as promised.

  • My family and I LOVE the outstanding job performed by Certified Home Improvements Inc. It took me a bit of research to tackle the right people to do such a job. I have had family and friends who have done home repairs and it was just a nightmare, and in some cases, it seemed they got bullied and were not happy with their completed jobs by other companies. So I signed up for Angies List and spent a few hours reading reviews. Aaron Winer company had the best reviews. I read a lots of reviews from his customers and decided that this was the company to fix my home. I am the third generation owner of my home, my Grandfather being the original owner and now me. It was built strong then and I needed to make sure it would last me at least another 50+ years. I made our appointment and never regretted it. My family first met Camile, a very nice woman who came to inquire the work we wanted, and to help us plan our kitchen. Our second meet, we met Aaron Winer, very friendly, very professional guy with a great sense of humor. He patiently listened to every concern we had, told him what we were looking for, we had no experience with this kind of thing. He made good suggestions that we didn't know were even available about alternatives that were less expensive but still maintained high quality that will last. Aaron's beliefs are "Doing it right the first time" His sub-contractors work spoke for itself. Our bathroom is BEAUTIFUL, the workers were very professional, courteous and trustworthy. Which was very important when you have people in your home all day, every day for a few months at a time. Miguel, Aaron and Camile are almost like family; you see them a lot. Thats another area I want to mention. You always see them and that is very good! I like the owner of the company was there, and his response time was always great. I always had questions, things that would just pop into my head I wanted to know pertaining to the work or possible work for the future, one day he had a list of my questions I e-mailed him, to answer when he had the time. Most people would respond back via e-mail but it truly shows he cared to address them in person. With any company doing a major job like this, concerns will ALWAYS come up in the back of your mind, even when you feel you've found the right people. One morning to go do a trip to Home Depot to pick out decor and materials. Aaron asked a very important question, a question so small but truly made the difference. he asked, "Are you happy?" I did have a couple of doubts, and my answer was hesitant and right away, he had to know. This was my home and it had to be perfect and he understood that. We sat down and I addressed my concerns and he was very kind; he wasn't like in some situations you hear about where a person gets mad and replies, "Well thats what you signed for"  We looked at the paper work and found some of my concerns were right and he fixed it right then and there, some at his cost but it was important to him that we were happy. I will always remember that and for that is why Certified Home Improvements Inc for as long as they are in business will always have mine. Aaron jokes he is a House Doctor, and it is really true, he had the best bedside manner you would ever want for someone building or restoring your dream home. My home was rotted in many areas and we never had company come over, but thanks to Certified Home Improvements, I had my first Thanksgiving in my house in 28 years with my family, They restored my beautiful hard wood floors, brand new kitchen and bathroom, a home I am proud to have people come to visit. I have always heard the phrase, "You get what you paid for" but with Aaron's company, you get that and much much more. Thank you Aaron, Camile and Miguel.

  • I contacted OM Construction and within a day, Tony came out and gave us an estimate of remodeling our 1940's bathroom. We needed it started immediately (which other companies we contacted weren't able to do) and he sent out a crew (Eddie & Carlos) 2 days later. We had the bathroom enlarged (removing a closet) and the entry door was replaced and moved from the hall to the living room. Inside, they removed the 1940's cast iron tub and put in a step in shower with sliding doors and porcelain tile. In addition, a new sink area was put in (with update fixtures), cabinets, towel racks, medicine cabinet (with mirror), toilet, floor tile, overhead fan, lighting and paint. Eddie and Carlos were always very professional and polite and cleaned up at the end of
each day they were here. I dealt mostly with Tony & Eddie, and they both were wonderful keeping in contact with me to let me know what was happening. As with all major projects, a few hiccups arose, but were handled promptly and with my total satisfaction. I would recommend OM Construction to anyone.

  • Job included removing old wood and repaired wall inside and out with dry wall and stucco. New wall outlet  was installed and changes to breaker box had to be done.
    Very professional and clean.

  • The a/c had been in the wall for about 40 years, there was rot and mold and other unforseeable damage so he had to fix that as well.  He was timely and professional and cleaned up and hauled everything away.  It was like he wasn't even there except now there is cool air to be had.

  • He did a very good job with the door. The door was fine and I did not have any problems with it. I have had some very bad contractors but Handyman Bob did a very good job. I also had him do some handyman work in our bathroom. He put up a toilet paper holder in our bathroom. The wooden part that he used was too big and I had a terrible time in asking him to come out to put it up again. So, I had to tell him that I needed the door to be put up in order for him to come and fix the toilet paper holder. He did not correct his work easily. He was excellent on the door but lousy in coming back to fix the toilet paper holder. His price was fine. He did not bring any materials with him as I bought my own materials. He did not go out and buy things as I bought everything myself. He was great with his punctuality and he was good with his professionalism. I would consider using him again in the future as long as nothing goes wrong with the work.

  • I got him off of Angie's List. He's in Lakewood and he owns an air conditioning company. He was honest and straightforward. He showed up when he said he was going to show up. He didn't try to sell me other stuff. The only problem that I have with him is that he only does repair works and he doesn't do installations. That's the only negative thing, but that's his choice. There's nothing wrong with the service and he tells that to people upfront. If somebody is calling to have a new air conditioner put in, he doesn't do that. He's listed under repair on Angie's List. I would use him again in the future.
