What can I say? Asher is the best! My wife and I have been dealing with horrible contractors for a while and we can never find one that listens to us, makes us feel trusted, and follows through. But we got so luckily we found Vision Remodeling. Asher spent over 4hrs just to just to get to know us and how to better serve us. He also was very attentive to all our needs throughout the process. He listen to our ideas and gave us a ton of options from a stylistic point of view to what's best for the money. To top it off he gets the project done fast! Without a mess. He also comes out after the project is done to make sure you are completely happen with the result. We had very minor touch ups, which we were accustom to just do it our selves, nope not Asher. He saw the touch ups and took care of them himself. This is definitely high quality service and I strongly recommend him for your home improvement investments!

I have been wanting to renovate our bathroom since the day my husband and I moved in to our house 4 years ago. Part of the reason why we didnt renovate earlier is because it was hard to find someone we could trust. Every contractor/worker I tried I felt they were take advantage of us. In other instances, we found someone cheaper but didnt do a good job which resulted into us doing the work ourselves or spending MORE MONEY! This made us very hesitant to really invest until we found someone. And we did! We got so luckily! We found Asher at a Home and Garden Convention in Orange County. Asher is very knowledgeable, professional and the one thing that I appreciated the most is his honesty. He made the process very easy for us. He was always available through phone and came to the house multiple times to ensure the job was getting done correct. He even went to the store with us to help us find the materials we needed. This was something I really appreciated since it saved us time and headaches. His quote was a little higher compared to the other ones we got but we trusted him and knew that the finished product will look amazing... And YES! our bathroom looks amazing!!! It was worth the investment.

John and his crew were punctual, friendly and did outstanding work. John kept us informed every step of the way. He and his crew did not rush and did everything right. He made everything as easy as possible. They found a broken pipe which they also fixed.

    Affordable Floors Inc
We were four days from moving in to our new home when we found Steve Sullins and Affordable Floors here on Angie's List. He came to our home with a car full of samples and we narrowed from dozens of samples to our favorite one. He made the process of picking a sample a pleasure, he wasn't pushy, he didn't give us any hard sells. He went back to his car after we picked a sample and put together a quote for us on the spot. His quote was exactly what it should have been. We put our deposit down that night and he was able to get a crew out to our home the next day. The crew that worked on our home was careful, considerate, friendly, attentive, so fast, and patient (we were installing a lot of appliances in on the days they were installing, but they worked around us). We could tell that these guys knew what they were doing and took their jobs seriously, and it shows in the work. Steve also followed up with us throughout the process to get our thoughts and let us know that he appreciated the business. We're so thrilled with the end product. These days, it's hard to find an honest company that performs quality work. These guys are the real deal.

    EA Construction Driveways-Hardscape-Pavers
My mother is very happy with the work that was completed.  They started everyday at 8am and left at 4 after cleaning up for the day.  We were nervous at first because of hearing horror stories about contractors and remodels, but it didn't take long to see those stories weren't true in this case.  Eric is the owner and he was there every day on the job or picking up supplies. There wasn't a contract signed and then he disappeared like most contractors.  We could always expect him to be there to make sure things were getting finished and we loved that feeling.  He said in the beginning he wasn't here to "nickel and dime" us and wanted us to be happy.  Our biggest hurdle was figuring out what sink, toilet, shower fittings, tiles, we wanted as the cost for these items fluctuates tremendously.  He gave us measurements and ideas but said that he didn't work with any suppliers and that is was best to give us a price for installing what we purchase and let us do the shopping.  He said that when they do built in BBQs they do the same thing and it works well for them and the customer.  We had an idea of colors and items to go with and it worked out great in the end. Everybody that comes to visit wants to go in the back bathroom now which is funny but understandable.  The driveway pavers turned out better than we thought.  We were going to go with regular concrete and a broom finish, but Eric told us that for a little more money we could get pavers which are 4xs stronger and far superior to regular concrete.  We were not even sure what they really were at first but he showed us brochures and websites and we were sold.  They have color to them and don't crack or lose the color.  We are blown away by the transformation, but unfortunately now the front yard needs updating because of how good the driveway looks.  These guys are very good at what they do and treated our job as if it were their own home.

    Certified Home Improvements Inc
My family and I LOVE the outstanding job performed by Certified Home Improvements Inc. It took me a bit of research to tackle the right people to do such a job. I have had family and friends who have done home repairs and it was just a nightmare, and in some cases, it seemed they got bullied and were not happy with their completed jobs by other companies. So I signed up for Angies List and spent a few hours reading reviews. Aaron Winer company had the best reviews. I read a lots of reviews from his customers and decided that this was the company to fix my home. I am the third generation owner of my home, my Grandfather being the original owner and now me. It was built strong then and I needed to make sure it would last me at least another 50+ years. I made our appointment and never regretted it. My family first met Camile, a very nice woman who came to inquire the work we wanted, and to help us plan our kitchen. Our second meet, we met Aaron Winer, very friendly, very professional guy with a great sense of humor. He patiently listened to every concern we had, told him what we were looking for, we had no experience with this kind of thing. He made good suggestions that we didn't know were even available about alternatives that were less expensive but still maintained high quality that will last. Aaron's beliefs are "Doing it right the first time" His sub-contractors work spoke for itself. Our bathroom is BEAUTIFUL, the workers were very professional, courteous and trustworthy. Which was very important when you have people in your home all day, every day for a few months at a time. Miguel, Aaron and Camile are almost like family; you see them a lot. Thats another area I want to mention. You always see them and that is very good! I like the owner of the company was there, and his response time was always great. I always had questions, things that would just pop into my head I wanted to know pertaining to the work or possible work for the future, one day he had a list of my questions I e-mailed him, to answer when he had the time. Most people would respond back via e-mail but it truly shows he cared to address them in person. With any company doing a major job like this, concerns will ALWAYS come up in the back of your mind, even when you feel you've found the right people. One morning to go do a trip to Home Depot to pick out decor and materials. Aaron asked a very important question, a question so small but truly made the difference. he asked, "Are you happy?" I did have a couple of doubts, and my answer was hesitant and right away, he had to know. This was my home and it had to be perfect and he understood that. We sat down and I addressed my concerns and he was very kind; he wasn't like in some situations you hear about where a person gets mad and replies, "Well thats what you signed for"  We looked at the paper work and found some of my concerns were right and he fixed it right then and there, some at his cost but it was important to him that we were happy. I will always remember that and for that is why Certified Home Improvements Inc for as long as they are in business will always have mine. Aaron jokes he is a House Doctor, and it is really true, he had the best bedside manner you would ever want for someone building or restoring your dream home. My home was rotted in many areas and we never had company come over, but thanks to Certified Home Improvements, I had my first Thanksgiving in my house in 28 years with my family, They restored my beautiful hard wood floors, brand new kitchen and bathroom, a home I am proud to have people come to visit. I have always heard the phrase, "You get what you paid for" but with Aaron's company, you get that and much much more. Thank you Aaron, Camile and Miguel.

    OM Construction Inc
I contacted OM Construction and within a day, Tony came out and gave us an estimate of remodeling our 1940's bathroom. We needed it started immediately (which other companies we contacted weren't able to do) and he sent out a crew (Eddie & Carlos) 2 days later. We had the bathroom enlarged (removing a closet) and the entry door was replaced and moved from the hall to the living room. Inside, they removed the 1940's cast iron tub and put in a step in shower with sliding doors and porcelain tile. In addition, a new sink area was put in (with update fixtures), cabinets, towel racks, medicine cabinet (with mirror), toilet, floor tile, overhead fan, lighting and paint. Eddie and Carlos were always very professional and polite and cleaned up at the end of
each day they were here. I dealt mostly with Tony & Eddie, and they both were wonderful keeping in contact with me to let me know what was happening. As with all major projects, a few hiccups arose, but were handled promptly and with my total satisfaction. I would recommend OM Construction to anyone.

Edgar paid attention to the details and was available 24/7.  I am a very busy working mom juggling many things so text and email worked best. Edgar was very responsive and not only answered all my questions, but always offered options on how to do things. Unlike many contractors, Edgar actually does work. He is not just a salesman. He knows what he is talking about because he is part of the crew and does the job along side his workers.  I was a bit surprised, as most other "owners" drive up in their expensive cars  or salesmen clothing to give me a sales pitch. It was actually a nice surprise.
My refinished hardwood floors look beautiful! I will enjoy them for many years to come and will definitely ask Armscraft to come back to do maintenance on my floors in 5 -10 years as well as other projects around my house.

    Action Services Inc
I asked three vendors to give me a quote on the job.  All three were licensed, bonded, insured, checked out with the state licensing board, no complaints on the BBB website, and all were highly rated on Angie's List.  In addition, all three promptly returned my calls and gave me an estimate on the job.

My contact at Action Services was John Santore. Our initial decision to use this company was based on our impression of John as a professional and straight forward person.  He was the only one of the 3 vendors to give me a price and stick with it, meaning that the other 2 vendors had gimmicks to offer in order to lower their quoted price.  John was competitive, and remained so, despite catchy discounts from the other 2 vendors.

Finalizing the contract was pleasant, John was very amenable to our terms and conditions.

John estimated 3 weeks, and finished early.  Workers showed up at and left our house on time, were very respectful, polite, and quite, and cleaned up after themselves daily.

We are satisfied with the services performed.  The job came out looking very nice.  John helped with suggestions, e.g. colors, design, etc.  The process was not painful.

Having made the final payment today, I should also note that there were no hidden costs, no surprise change orders, no mickey mousing every last screw.  The initial bid was the final price.  Out of courtesy and fairness to all involved, I did not disclose the amount I spent on this job, nor the names or bid prices of the other two vendors.

    Carpets 4 U
We stopped at that showroom and looked at samples.  A couple days later, Gary (nice guy!) came to our house measured and gave us a firm price.  He called the next day and let us know when they could install (it was special order) and at the end of the week we had new carpet.  The installers were very nice and did a great job.  They were very helpful with moving furniture back into place.
