    Garden Beauticians
Initially we were very happy with Jaime and his crew. They worked on schedule and appeared to do a good job. We paid incrementally, and on demand. Jaime made lots of assurances....he would handle anything that came up...just call. Well, his professionalism ended once we paid his last check. When we found poles sticking out of the ground that we had paid him to remove, when in 4 weeks we were overrun with weeds 3ft tall that we had paid to have cleared and treated, we called and he simply refused to answer our calls. His people covered a sewer clean out valve. We paid $800 to have a new one set....we did not ask Jaime to pay for it, but did ask that he come and repair a drip line that had been damaged in the process. He treated us as though we were crooks. Finally, his people installed a fountain in the front yard....when we notified him it was not working, he told us to hire someone else to fix it. Jaime was great while he was collecting money.....all professionalism and follow through went straight to **** once he cashed the check

    Pacific West Tree Care Inc
Alex returned my call quickly and came out to give us an estimate for pruning our citrus trees. He also managed to schedule our appointment for tree trimming very quickly, which I appreciated as I knew the citrus trees were going to be blooming soon. The work crew was very professional and also very pleasant. They really knew what they were doing! They also did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. The price was a tiny bit higher than the one I received from another company last year, but very much in the ball park, especially since they did such a good job. I will definitely be calling Alex and his crew the next time I need to have trees trimmed.

    Your Way Tree Service
Jesse gave me a very extensive estimate of the work that needed to be done. His crew arrived right on time and the work was performed exactly as Jesse had described it. Your Way did an excellent job! I can not recommend them highly enough. This is the second time they have performed work on our trees and I will continue to use them and recommend them.

San Fernando Valley Tree Service Inc
My tree service for the past 10 years called on day of appointment to re - review the timing. Since I have had artificial grass the Owner wanted to see for himself. We couldn't come to agreement on a timely visit by him- didn't believe he wanted the $500.00 job. So I contact several other services. This tree company could do the job a few days later and at a lower costs. In addition, he quoted my neighbors large tree and this was $300.00 less then a quote I have obtain from several services........ Job was started on time on both trees, and another neighbor obtained a quote this day and had the job done later in the week at a lower costs. Crews were very helpful and cleaned up Highly recommend them

    Kerry's Tree Service Inc
Followup March 2018: I am happy to report that when I brought the problems with the July 2017 service (see below) to the attention of general manager Jim Avery, he took care of replacing the mulch that had been blown away. I appreciate him working with me to resolve the situation to my satisfaction. Kerry's tree service (Scott Rogers, foreman) trimmed my trees in July 2017. They did a decent job of trimming my trees unfortunately, they wrecked much of the rest of my landscaping. They also refused to cut the vines off of the phone and cable TV wires (even though they're NOT dangerous power wires), and I had to have another tree company come out and do that. I had asked him to please be careful of my plants and he had said they would do their best. But they just TRAMPLED through my ground cover/flowers instead of going two feet out of their way to avoid it, and they completely wrecked it. (One picture attached is an area that had previously been lushly covered with bluebells, after they trampled it.) Worst of all, the open spaces of my yard had previously been covered with a beautiful, soft, fragrant bark mulch that I had handsomely paid a landscaper to install when Id had my grass removed, and nice layer of eucalyptus leaves on top of that. It was beautiful, it looked like a forest floor. After trimming the trees, they took out their blowers to clean up. When I went out to take a look when they were finished, I couldn't believe my eyes - they had BLOWN AWAY ALL MY BARK MULCH, leaving nothing but bare ground and the sharp seed pods that fall from the eucalyptus trees (which apparently are too heavy for the blowers to move). I asked Scott WHY DID YOU BLOW AWAY ALL MY MULCH? And he had the nerve to BLAME IT ON ME: he just said, "Well, I wish you had said something before. Seriously? After all these years of people removing their lawns, they don't know theres such a thing as bark mulch?? He didn't take any responsibility, didnt apologize, didnt offer to replace it. Very, very careless and unprofessional. Also, they had knocked things over while dragging out branches, and as they were leaving, I noticed the top of my little folding table was missing. I pointed it out; again, Scott immediately denied responsibility and insisted, "It must have been like that. But I asked the workers to please look for it, and they did find it in their trash and bring it back to me. They would have thrown it out if I hadnt asked for it! If you have nothing but trees and concrete, they would probably do fine. But if you have any plants in your yard, I recommend you BLOCK THEM OFF WITH HAZARD TAPE to try to keep the workers from walking roughshod through them. And if you have any mulch, make sure to specifically ask them not to remove it!!

G&L Design Building & Landscape Inc
G&L had quite a job in front of them when looking at our backyard renovation. It was old, taken over by trees, full of weeds almost 5 feet tall, and terrible old concrete! They completely TRANSFORMED this into a beautiful, modern, and economic space. They deserve credit for TWO projects because our dismantling the first was difficult. We had three major trees stumps which were very hard to remove, and required all knew drainage and plumbing. They were able to make the trees look as if they never existed, and implemented a draining system that channeled out into our front lawn. Our front lawn looks as if they were never there. The attention to concrete, planter walls, surrounding walls, and the additional fence was very detailed, and they did a fantastic job creating a two level planting structure where one did not exist. The design process was fun and easy with Mike and Dee, and we really appreciate the automatic watering/ lighting system they put into place (which we didn't even ask for!). We relied on their expertise, and they created a wonderful open and sophisticated space where we love to host friends and family!

    Best Care Tree Service Inc
We've used Best Care several times to trim our property's large trees. They consistently do a fantastic job! John, the owner, knows exactly what our needs are, and his people execute to our satisfaction. They are punctual, reliable, and professional at all times. Prices are reasonable, and the one overall quality that stands out is honesty--one feels that they are truly trying to please the customer. This always inspires confidence. We know what we are getting, and we are always comfortable explaining what we want. And John and his company understand before work is started. During the process, he periodically invites us out to judge how the work is coming. One more very important factor: John and his people have the expertise--in trees and their biology, in trimming, in cleaning up, and in the aesthetics of what people enjoy about trees and foliage. They are professional in every way, and they should be proud of how they conduct their business.

    Garden Beauticians
I know Garden Beauticians recently started making profiles online for reviews such as yelp, angies list, google reviews, & i dont remember where else, but im very surprised they are not so known here in the valley. I highly recommend Garden Beauticians, not only for their great work but for their professionalism. Jaime (the owner) is very attentive to his customers and it does help that he gives his cellphone number ! lol I recommend you make an appointment for a free estimate. Hope to work with you again soon Jaime !!

    Reyes Tree Service & Gardening
The gardeners are good. Very nice, good at what they do. However, like one of the previous reviews on AL recently, responsiveness is terrible. Gardeners have not shown up two times in a row now on the scheduled day. In both cases i've had to call Juan to track them down. Have left numerous messages on his cell and in the office to call me, yet he never bothers to respond. Instead, he's sent the guys out the next day (Saturday's) without checking with me first. On the one day a week my family can sleep in they were cutting and blowing at 8:00 a.m. I left another message to discuss with Juan, however again, no response at all. Four weeks and not a single call back. Maybe new business is the priority now, not existing customers. Not sure what's changed, they used to be really good.
