Excel Construction sent to our house Eyal who came over and set with us for a while in order to understand what we would like to have in the remodeling project at our house. Our remodeling project was to remodel the kitchen, family & Dining room areas including new coat of paint and few other tasks. After he understood what we wanted to do, he designed a simple draft so we will understand how and where he think to relocate some parts of the kitchen and after we approved it, he then went back to his office and designed a detailed computerized 3D. After the design and the price was approved by us, he then came over with his workers to do the remodeling job. Each one of the workers was polite & flexible. After the work was completely finished, Eyal sent back his workers to replace or fix some things that we had issues with. Our house was left clean during the entire remodeling. We received so many of great comments on our new remodeling and on our house in general. Thank you Eyal for the great work you did for us and for the awesome service!

This company is Prime Home Remodeling dba as Sky Renovation and New Construction. Don't be fooled by the smiles and assuming good customer the end, you will find out that this company; Owner Ian Levy, is rude with bully tendencies. They DO NOT provide a worksite foreman and only partially manage the work being done. I had to act as the foreman of my own project at almost $100,000....WHY!!! For that money, he should have had a site foreman daily and attention to the quality of the work being done. Instead every day I came home from work, sometimes during the day, I had to have mistakes and poor workmanship corrected. His workers smoke and throw cigarette butts around the property and often shortcut details. Make sure to take pictures of everything and every part of your project before you let them start any work because when you find something wrong, broken or unfinished your response will be, "Not my problem", "What do you want me to do", "it will cost you more money", "it was that way already". First Red Flag that I ignored because Ian came across as trustworthy was he offered a bid for the interior project solely based on what I wanted to be done and his visual oversight without inspection. He never looked at the existing wiring, only looked at the roof from the ground, didn't check subfloor conditions, didn't check for potential issues and only waited to find them before complaining about the extra cost to him to fix. Demanded final payment with threats of liens and lawyers before even checking to ensure the permits were finalized by the city. So if you want smiles, lies and unskilled workers that you could find at Home Depot working on your property, go ahead and hire them. I'm still scared my roof could come crashing down, the house to catch fire from the wiring work they did and now my central air heater has a disconnected air tube I have to have someone come and fix. I have exposed nails now rusted hanging down below the eaves around the garage and house from the roofing job which Ian told me, "What do you want me to do", "Stop being cheap and fix your house and cover the eaves". Now I have lots of headaches to deal with to make the repairs due to poor workmanship. The sub-contracted roof installers damaged the attic insulation following the roof demolish; now which has to be completely replaced along with central heating ducts that were damaged. Waiting for State Contractors Board to finish their assessment of my complaint and the BBB shows an "F" rating for Sky Renovation & New Construction. Also waiting for their Bond company to finish their investigation into my claim for damages as documented in photos, text messages, emails, and contracts. Complete nightmare. Following this review post the company owner EYAL IAN LEVI sent me several insulting and harassing text messages....Also following this review: He sent his business partner; Tomas to my home to comfort me about my reviews and how it was costing them business attempting to get me to remove them.

I called Ozzie to do all the work at our new house because we knew we could trust him to do what he said and to do an excellent job at a fair price. We first selected Ozzie from a group of potential contractors we had vetted as being the most reliable based on the Better Business Bureau reports. This was before we had convenient more comprehensive resources like Angie's list. We started with a complete kitchen remodel with custom cabinets which was $60,000. After that first remodel we knew we had found a contractor we could trust. He did what he said, when he said and he did it right. Ozzie was always reachable by phone/text/email and he was responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. And if problems occurred (remodeling always has surprises) Ozzie saw to it that things were done right and didn't add a penny to our contract price. The only thing that cost more of course was when WE made changes. Over the next few years we ended up remodeling all the bathrooms, putting new wood floors, rewiring the entire house (it had very old cloth insulated wires), a new roof, adding a bathroom including walk in closets. So when we had to move somewhat unexpectedly from our old house we knew exactly who to call. So far almost all of the planned work inside our new house has been done. The last stage is building the guest house. The plans have been drawn up and are being certified by the architect/engineer. We will be getting the permits so we can begin soon. I can update how that goes, but honestly I've already had so much work done by Ozzie that there's no doubt it will all go well. I attached a few photos, but I never seem to take photos after the remodeling. I always take photos during the remodeling, but it's the after photos that show what a space becomes. I'm going to try to find the photos of our old house after remodel photos and upload those.

Me and my wife had been saving money waiting for a house to go up for sale in North Hollywood (we had been targeting the area for a while but everything the realtor showed us wasn't up to snuff). We finally found a place right where we wanted but the house was in bad disrepair. After getting a few ideas on what it would cost to tear down what was there and build our dream home we decided to purchase the property. The first company that came out gave us a price of a little over $900,000 which seemed OK. Luckily my wife decided to check out a few other places and we ended up contacting Supreme. We met with Patrick (who is not only an amazing project manager but also one of the owners of the company) after explaining a few things he brought our cost down to $826,000 which needless to say made our eyes widen a little bit. After meeting with yet another 3 companies we still found Patrick to be the lowest and most experienced we'd talked to.

So we moved forward with the project it started in November of 2014 and should be finishing up next month (May 2015). We have been extremely happy with the speed and quality of the work being done. I was a little cautious due to the price difference since it was so much but so far the work has been going great, no delays and no surprise costs which was my biggest worry.

I check in with Patrick or his office daily and they are always super nice and helpful with letting me know whats going on with my project.
I can't wait to see what the final product looks like. I will keep you guys posted.

I put off remodeling my kitchen for years, because I had no construction or design experience, and was intimidated at the prospect of tearing out an important part of my home and having construction done while I was living and working there.
I found Pristine Construction by its positive Angie?s List and Yelp reviews, and when I met owner Nathan, he put me at ease about the process, and had some great ideas for making changes to the kitchen. Even though it wasn?t actually the lowest bid, I went with Pristine because they inspired my confidence.
The crew, all very friendly and polite, showed up right on time at 8:00 a.m. every morning, worked all day until about 5 or 6, and cleaned up after themselves every night. Mike or Nathan checked in every day to oversee the progress.
I also had them replace all of the wood flooring throughout the entire house, and, because I had to use my office and couldn?t stop work for too long, they managed to move everything out, replace the floor and baseboards, and move everything back into the room in a single day.
They tore the kitchen down to the studs and completely remodeled it, while I was working in another room at home most days. The work started right on time and finished right on schedule [in just 6 weeks] and on budget, and the kitchen looks fantastic. Even though I only had a limited galley-shaped space to work with, my sleek, modern kitchen looks like something out of a magazine. I am happy and thrilled with my new kitchen, and it looks even better than I imagined it would.

Robert was prompt, polite, professional and reasonable.  It was a pleasure to have him helping us with our home redecorating.
He measures, levels and gets your full approval before hanging any art work.  His work was immaculate and we are thrilled with the result. He is so knowledgeable.  We recommend him highly for handling your art work with care and making the customer happy.  What a good experience.  No, it was a perfect experience.

We hired Pristine to do the remodel of our house.  We interviewed 5
other contractors and viewed their work and interviewed the customers
before deciding on Pristine.  Pristine was not the cheapest bid but
because this was an extensive renovation we wanted someone that we could
trust completely.  We talked to too many angry people after their
construction.  We wanted the peace of mind of knowing it would be done
right.  And now, 6 months after the job is done we are still happy and
still glad we chose Pristine.  The fact is that they told us they could
complete the job in 5 months, when others ranged from 7-9 months.  This
was a big deal to us because we were staying in the house during
construction.  Everyone told us it would take way longer.  Well, guess
what.  They finished the job AHEAD of schedule.  And even though we
ripped out all of our bedrooms and our bathrooms,  Nathan and Mike made
sure we could stay in the house and were as comfortable as possible.
Whenever we had a problem with anything Nathan or Mike responded to us
IMMEDIATELY.   It was not easy for them to do that much work with us
staying in the house but they totally accommodated us.
On a job this big on a 1930's house there are always problems that come up, but
Nathan and Mike would always address the problem as soon as possible.
Tiny things still come up and Nathan and Mike are there even though to
make sure we are happy even though they have been completely paid.
I think one of the clearest examples of why we are so happy is when we
picked tile that did not have ceramic finishing pieces.  We HATED the
metal pieces that were about to be installed.  Mike and Nathan showed up
and figured out a way to create the finished look that we wanted by
polishing the edges of the tile so we did not have to use the metal.
Every day we go into our bathrooms we are so happy.  They didn't even
charge us for the metal material.  The fact is that they do quality
work, with a personal touch, in a reasonable time frame.  I can't think
of anything else you would want.

My Wife and I decided to do add 500sq.ft to our house and have a major remodeling, which included the renovation of our kitchen
    and 3 bathrooms.
Since We never had this amount of work done before, we were worried about how this project is going to impact our daily routine for many weeks and who will we hire for the task, especially after hearing so many horrible stories about crooked contractors.
We had appointments with 3 construction companies. I must say, that they all seamed professional and well qualified for our
project and their prices were quite similar.
Eventually, we decided to go with Creation Builders mostly because of the many references they had, and the good impression they left, the presentation and the explanation of how a project of this magnitude should be approached.
Their representative Guy, who came to meet us, was very professional, knowledgeable, and he answered all (!) of our questions.
From the moment we started with the blueprints for the addition, everything went smoothly. They took care of all the permits required by the city.
Guy or Sean, who is one of their office project coordinator, often updated us about the process of the job so we could be completely involved with it.
Since the whole project consisted of the remodeling of multiple rooms, they had to work in a way that crews didn?t disturb one another and affect the flow of progress. While one crew was working from the outside on the foundation, framing, roofing, etc. of the addition, another was working on the bathrooms (one at the time), and the cabinetmakers worked at their shop.
Guy helped us with choosing the tiles and fixtures for the bathrooms and kitchen, Granite countertops and backsplash, wood flooring for the kitchen and the addition, colors for the painting.
We were very impressed by the way their craftsmen work all together, installers, tile setters, electricians, plumbers, carpenters. They were all Top Notch!
When it was all done, we had the most beautiful kitchen and bathroom we could have dreamed off, and our house became obviously
    more spacious.
As we were promised, they kept on schedule every step of the way during the construction process, and although we ended trusting them completely, I must add that from the beginning, they provided us with a reasonable stage payment program, so we didn?t have to worry about them running away with our money, the way it happened with to so many other by scammers disguised as contractors.
We Highly recommend them for construction and remodeling.
Painless experience. Totally worth the money.

Beyond the highest of expectations (and I am picky).  The work was superb.  Great quality.  Unsurpassed professionalism.  Two people did the work (including Carlos) - and they worked flawlessly and very fast.  Carlos brings to the job a keen aesthetic sense, deep knowledge of framing, and eagerness to do good work and meet the client's needs.
(And I did some comparative shopping on framing prices - that did not include pickup/delivery/installation, and Carlos' pricing for the framing work beat them all, from the "chains" (Aaron Brothers, the most expensive, to Fast Frame, to two custom framers in the area.)

?Esi General Construction Inc Company was the best seen to date. Started on time finished on time, day in and day out. Danny was on site everyday keeping the project on schedule. We changed our requirements several times, provided out of town products and they adjusted each and every day giving us what we wanted without missing a beat. This company used professional subs and kept them on the job until it was complete. What started as a small project and turned into a whole house make over was a great experience. HGTV could not have done it better!
