  • Artur Arabchyan - North Hollywood, CA - Glad I Chose NRG - I interviewed 3 solar companies and what stood out was that NRG had better pricing and better turn around. Leo was an excellent salesman, knowledgable and also found out we had mutual friends. Installers came and installed the 30 panels (panasonic 330watts) in about 5 hours. It was super fast. Installers respected the house, cleaned up after themselves. No damage to the house whatsoever, and it even rained the day after they finished, with no leaks. Tiffany was project coorindator and she made the project go smooth and easy, without a doubt best experience ever. Its nice that NRG sends someone out like Robert to show how the system works and explain how the solar edge app functions. Took drones shots to inspect the property and solar panels. Overall great company and best service hands down.

  • From the moment I met Moshe, he stood out from the other contractors from whom I asked bids. He is not a salesman but a knowledgeable contractor who knows his stuff. What you see is what you get. No BS. Moshe were always there, when I asked for help and offered suggestions when he saw I was out of my depth. His high energy kept the job at a quick pace. Total construction time for my amazing space was 1 1/2 months. My recommendation to anyone is that you give Moshe a call. The exuberance Moshe displays during the consultation, is never-ending. Moshe is a person that keep his word and wants to see his clients happy. I'm already planning for my next renovation.

  • We interviewed many companies for our kitchen remodel before going with Creative Home Remodeling but once meeting with Max we knew he was the way to go. His price was competitive and you could tell he wanted to do a great job for us. As with any home improvement project, some issues are expected but we were shocked at how smoothly everything went. We had a big job including knocking down a load bearing wall and putting up a beam. Our kitchen was very old and outdated so we had lots for the crew to get done. You hear horror stories of a project started and then the contractors disappear. We had workers here every single day getting our kitchen accomplished. And the biggest shocker of all: they completed the kitchen on time! Yep, I said it. On time. We absolutely love our new kitchen and would highly recommend Creative Home Remodeling.

  • These guys are our "Go To" for anything "home related". This year we needed a new electric panel. Called them up, scheduled it and before the end of the week we were done... One day One call... One day One job! Finished just like that. We cant say enough good things about them and attribute finding them through Angie's as a plus!

  • I had to write something and let everyone know how happy I am with the service. I’ve remodeled before with another company, and it was a disaster. I was soooo lucky this time, everything was done professionally, highly recommended.

  • I hate giving bad reviews, but I felt I should. I hired Magic Hammer aka LA Best Builder (which is just one contractor – Sean) to replace my crumbling asphalt driveway and patio with cement, to upgrade my electrical system, to put up a ready-made gazebo and to renovate my garage (no bathroom/kitchen, just a basic renovation of the existing structure into a playroom). Issues: 1) Lack of communication – I kept having to ask what to expect, when the workmen would be at my house, the status of various parts of the job – sometimes I’d get a response, sometimes I wouldn’t, 2) His guys would show up sporadically and sometimes took a full week or more off, 3) Sean wasn’t on-site or reachable for some major cement work that was going awry. It was a Saturday (Shabbat), and I respect that he is observant, but he should not have had that work done when he couldn’t oversee it or be reached. He also made excuses for the things that went wrong and tried to push it back on me (he was trying to “save me money”). He ultimately fixed one issue months later after much arguing and much pressing. It will be interesting to see if my patio floods during a heavy rain. Also, his cement guys pushed through my side fence and broke it open – my neighbor saw them do it. Sean said the fence was in poor shape anyway and would eventually have had to be replaced (yes, EVENTUALLY, but it wasn’t a priority). He never acknowledged that his guys did this (again, he wasn’t even on-site when they were there). I had to have someone else come in to replace the fence and Sean did nothing to cover any of the cost. 3) I requested side windows on the garage and he told me he could put in 18” “custom” ones, but I wanted bigger ones which he said he couldn’t do (why would “custom” windows only come in one size?). I looked online myself and saw that Lowes had 30” and 36” casement windows and asked what the biggest size was that would fit in that area. He said 36” so I said I wanted to go with those (it was confirmed in a text AND he built the spaces for the 36” windows). Three weeks later, 30” windows arrived and he blamed me for the error and tried to get me to take those, saying it wasn’t much of a difference. I said I’d rather wait and have him order the 36” windows. He got upset and said he’d lose money. Since they were from Lowes, I assured him they could be returned (and they were). It was going to take another 3 weeks for the 36” to arrive, and I told him I didn’t want the rest of the job to stall – there were several things that could be completed within that time and the job was already taking forever. He said they couldn’t continue with the other things because “it would create dust.” I told him that it seemed that he could put up plastic to alleviate that problem, plus there were several things that needed to get done outside. The job was delayed and delayed. I had to push and push for things to get done. 4) I told him I wanted a digital keypad for the garage door but that the one I saw at Home Depot wouldn’t fit. He said he had one in mind, but then realized last minute that it wouldn’t fit and gave up. I looked online myself and easily found a few that would work and ordered one. He simply wasn’t solution-oriented. 5) His men re-hung my gate improperly after the cement work was completed and I asked him continuously to have them rehang it. I even went and bought the hinges myself (different kinds that his men could choose from). He made a big issue that it would be a lot more work, but after more cajoling, he finally had his guys do it. 6) I was going to have cabinets from Ikea installed along the back of the garage. His guys were supposed to pick them up at the store, bring them to my home and install them (this was all in the contract). Long story short, the job was taking so long that I ordered them online and had them delivered (at an extra cost). He had his guys install them and ended up charging me $800 to install cabinets that Ikea would’ve installed for $450. By that time it was too late for me to halt this as they had already installed the cabinets. Sean made up some excuse saying that there were more cabinets than planned and it was a lot of extra work. This was completely untrue. I emailed him the original documentation and contract showing 2 units which had 6 cabinets each. I ended up buying 2 units of 4 cabinets each – less cabinets than we discussed. In the end, it was a terrible and stressful experience working with Sean. He was full of excuses, rude, argumentative and I now realize that he was overpriced. I’m disgusted by the entire experience. It’s hard to believe it all went so smoothly and pleasantly for all these other reviewers.

  • We recently had two bathrooms remodeled by Imperial Remodeling & we could not be happier with the results! Gino and his crew were amazing! They were extremely professional & thorough. You can tell Gino takes great pride in his jobs. The crew showed up early every day, even on weekends, and would put in 10+ hour days, which really made this job go very quickly. Gino would come check on the project each day and would even send me progress photos, as well as call to give me updates while I was at work each day. We are very impressed and highly recommend Imperial Remodeling to anyone!

  • Several years ago, I gave AVS Logic an A plus review. Jonathan set up my home theater system and did a great job. I'm not good with high tech stuff and he returned a couple of times to reconnect and explain things -- I'd expect no less when I invest a lot of money with a company. That said, more recently, I had a very minor issue with a cooling fan that started making a lot of noise. I also wanted to replace a broken universal remote. I contacted Jonathan in MAY. It is now late AUGUST and after repeatedly saying he'd schedule me in and not following through, I've had enough. Jonathan uses the excuse that he is busy, and I get it, he's busy with the big paying gigs, like the one he had with me originally. I understand that what I need done now is a small job so it won't generate a lot of money, but it's also a quick job and I thought that it would be best executed by the person who built my system. Alas, good customer service just doesn't seem to be a part of AVS Logics philosophy.

  • Incredible. On budget and under time. Professional work done impeccably and the contractor was very responsive. From beginning to end (and even now, after it's completed) if we had any problem or concern or question, he answered within 24 hours. He is also very calm and even handed so there was never any stress. Everything could be handled. He hires great people who are meticulous.

  • Excel Construction sent to our house Eyal who came over and set with us for a while in order to understand what we would like to have in the remodeling project at our house. Our remodeling project was to remodel the kitchen, family & Dining room areas including new coat of paint and few other tasks. After he understood what we wanted to do, he designed a simple draft so we will understand how and where he think to relocate some parts of the kitchen and after we approved it, he then went back to his office and designed a detailed computerized 3D. After the design and the price was approved by us, he then came over with his workers to do the remodeling job. Each one of the workers was polite & flexible. After the work was completely finished, Eyal sent back his workers to replace or fix some things that we had issues with. Our house was left clean during the entire remodeling. We received so many of great comments on our new remodeling and on our house in general. Thank you Eyal for the great work you did for us and for the awesome service!
