    Fidelity Builders and Design
Tal did several remodeling projects in our past houses such as new floors, bathroom remodeling and more We were always treated as VIP and everything was done in a perfect way. For our recent purchased house, we needed to remodel our kitchen and living room. This remodeling was no less than our previous ones and we were not disappointed... Tal took care of everything that related to the remodeling, from the planning stages all the way to the execution of it. He placed a lot of attention to each and every step while focusing on the budget and schedule. We were amazed when we arrived home each night to see the progress and how they left the remodeling space clean. His team of people cleaned every day before they left the house. Each worker was professional and we didnt have any major problem with any of them like many other people sometimes have. Tal was a complete pleasure person to work with. He earned our trust and business for any future remodeling projects that we will have. Thank you Tal for our remodeling and service.

    SOD Builders
I interviewed at least 4 home improvement companies for a big remodeling job at my house. Allen was the only one that I met and spoke with and that was not any type of a referral recommendation. Allen worked at Luxcess Home by SOD Builders and I found them as part of my online research. Allen become my favorite one from all the other home improvement contractors. He was quick, expert, very clever and easy to get along with. I met with him 2 weeks after I spoke with the last contractor and basically, he was the first one that came back with a detailed quote for the project. The price that he gave me was very fair mainly if I take in consideration how great was the crew and the fact that I was very happy with the progress of the work. Allen and Luxcess Home by SOD Builders has earned the maximum recommendation I can give.

    Finesse Remodeling & Consulting Inc
Avi and Finesse Remodeling were one of six estimates that we got for our kitchen and bath remodel. Avi was by far the most professional and provided us with great design advice. His contract was detailed and specific and left us feeling very comfortable. Avi was always available for any questions and concerns. All issues were dealt with correctly and professionally. He provided us with many ideas to help our remodel become what we dreamed of. We have worked with many contractors over the 25 years as a homeowner and I have to say Avi is the best we have had. Avi and Joyce were a pleasure to work with and I will be using them again when given the opportunity.

Having worked in the construction industry myself for ten years, I am very aware of the pitfalls and have a general mistrust towards most building contractors. Tamir arrived at our home and my wife and I felt immediately at ease. His experience and professionalism really shone through as he helped us plan the kitchen that my wife has always wanted and a beautiful room addition over the garage. Tamir asked us many questions to find out what we wanted and was able to lay out a clear cut, functional plan in a short time. His suggestions were helpful but never felt pushy. He is friendly and courteous and we never felt like we were being pressured into anything. The best part of all was that his quote came in far lower than other contractors estimates. Knowing his reputation and after meeting with him today, we feel confident in taking this next step in building the home of our dreams. We cant wait until the work begins.

    EZ Builders Inc.
EZ builders is the BEST home improvement company by far!! We worked with Vitaly and his crews of people and right from the beginning of the work, Vitaly was very professional, honest, hardworking man and good communicator. He always was on time and he made sure that the people will deliver the best results in the work. Our project (which was a complete kitchen remodeling) was completed on time and within the agreed budget. We will use EZ builders for all of our future projects.

    SOD Builders
Overall the project went very well. We chose SOD Builders because their price was competitive, but more importantly their timeframe was quick. Our priority was the completion date because my wife is pregnant, and we needed the house to be move in ready before the baby arrived. The beginning design phase took longer than expected and made us nervous if the estimated completion date would be met. However once the project started and we were assigned our Project Manager Udi, everything moved quickly. Udi kicked ***. He was on top of scheduling crews at the house every day, inspections, and correcting minor changes my wife and I wanted. All said and done our house was completed on time. From the beginning of demo to completion was 2 months which is an impressive turn around time for a full interior remodel. We pretty much have a new house to start a new family and we are very happy.

We re-modeled our kitchen with the great help of Roy. In addition to the kitchen remodeling, we decided also to refinish the old damaged hardwood floors around the house. Roy was well-spoken, skilled and honest while he spent an excessive amount of time with us in order to advise and guide us about the process of the remodeling work on top of explaining each and every step of the work. EZ builders did a wonderful remodeling job while maintaining a fairly price. This was our first involvement with a contractor for a remodeling project and it was an easy and positive one. We highly recommended EZ builders and mainly Roy for any remodeling project.

    SES Builders inc
We hired SES builders to remodel our master bathroom. All the involved guys that were at our house were very professional, nice, hardworking people and respectful. They worked full days each day and put extra attention to all the small details of the work. The whole remodeling process went without any problem from start to finish and we highly recommend them for any bathroom remodeling project.

    MNM Remodeling Inc.
Overall we are happy with the result and the bathrooms look much better however I am giving this company a lower score based on other important factors that I think potential clients should be aware of. In the interest of making this less than 1000 pages long I am going to break down my comments into categories to help you understand the issues we faced so you have some good information before booking with them for your own job. Communication Communication with this company has been horrible. Originally we meet with Usher (a sales associate) who promised us things that Ben (the contractor) later had issues delivering on. It seemed like they weren't on the same page through the entire project. Usher would tell us we could have something then Ben would find a problem with it and we'd go back and forth causing delays and for some of the work to need to be redone. The other issue was with the items we had to purchase. Usher told us up front there were a few things wed have to buy because they didnt want to assume design liability. That was fine but most of the items we purchased (even though he told us what to get and where) the contractor had issues with installing causing more delays and multiple trips to home improvement stores to get what the contractor needed. It just seemed like Ben and Usher weren't on the same page even though Usher assured us in the beginning everyone his company hires would be. The same thing happened with the glass guy and the electrician. Usher eventually made good on all his promises (which was one of the only positive things to come out of this) but it didn't come without headaches and aggravation. About half way through the job they took Usher off our project and replaced him with Aviv who was much harder to deal with. Not only is he very difficult to understand on the phone but he refused to meet with us in person, cancelled several appointments without giving us proper notice and was hard to get in touch with. Overall it would have been nice to have one person designated as our contact point through-out the project who could have effectively expressed our wishes to everyone involved. I feel like I was always repeating my wishes to multiple people and answering questions that should have been answered by the company representative. Involvement When we originally met with Usher we told him what we were looking to have done and what our must haves were. I also expressed that I didn't want to be involved much outside of that. I was looking to hire a company that could come in and do a great job with minimal involvement from us. This was possibly the biggest disappointment we had and one of the main reasons this company is getting a low score. Usher assured us he would be working with everyone to make this as hands off for us as possible. That did not happen. We were constantly having to relay our wishes to several different people (arguing over what was promised at times) and had to fight/become actively involved to get what was originally promised both of which caused delays and added expenses to the project. As I said they were very good about wanting to make us happy but it didn't come without a struggle or without being talked to like they were doing us a favor by delivering on what they promised. I'm sorry but if you promise us something for a price and it ends up costing more that isn't my problem and it isn't unreasonable for us to ask you to stick to what you originally promised. It was a lot of stress and involvement, which is what I didn't want. When we started this project I was 12 weeks pregnant. The last thing I wanted was something else to do or to add more stress to my life. I don't think Usher was very up front about how involved we would need to be. They certainly don't seem equip to do a good hands off job and that is something I wish I would have known ahead of time. Now maybe we were more involved by choice at times but that was only because we wanted to make sure the job was done right. A responsibility I assumed MNM would take on but definitely didnt. I feel like they were hoping to come in, do a subpar job, and have us be thrilled and not notice the work wasn't up to professional standards but that was not acceptable for us. My husband and I are not in the business but we know what looks good and there were several things that weren't up to the quality standards of a professional company and needed to be redone. When we brought up these concerns we were treated like we were being picky and like they were doing us a favor by redoing the work but, in my opinion as a professional company, shouldnt you always want to do the best work possible? I think someone should have been by the house daily (or at least a couple times a week) to ensure the work was being done at the highest standards. No one came to check on the work until we brought up issues to them and then they agreed it should be done better. In my opinion we shouldn't have had to be the ones to bring that up. This project definitely could have benefited from a supervisor whose involvement providing communication and making sure professional standards were met would have made the project run a lot smoother. Timeline We originally met with Usher in October to get our quote. He told us he wanted to start November 2nd and estimated 3 weeks to complete both jobs. I was hesitant about starting around the holiday but being pregnant, wanted it finished before baby arrived so we agreed. The master wasn't completed until late December, the guest not until late January, and we were still dealing with 2 final issues well into March. I know we experienced delays but 4 months is a little ridiculous considering the original estimate of 3 weeks. My husband and I have gone out of our way to be available to them (whenever they needed to work) and feel we have been more than accommodating through-out the job. We seem like a priority for them when they are expecting a payment but after that the work is scheduled at their convenience with little regard for our schedules or needs. Professionalism The workers that came to the house were very nice and I believe did a pretty good job of being polite and respectable while in my home. However I do feel like they could have done a better job enclosing the work area so my home wouldn't be exposed to more dirt and debris than necessary. Being pregnant during this I was very concerned about being around airborne pollutants and that didn't seem to be a concern for them even though Usher assured me it would be. They covered our bedroom with tarp for the first couple days and then stopped. There was a two-inch layer of dust for several days in a row in our bedroom and, while sanding the guest bathroom, they didn't properly tarp the door so we ended up with dust going into our entire home. They also weren't consistent with putting paper down in the hallways so they were constantly walking through our home and into our bedroom with dirty shoes. Ben would often come in our home to check on something in the guest and just walk through to our bedroom to the master without asking my permission. I found that very off putting and intrusive. They made our guest room their personal storage area without asking permission and made an absolute disaster out if our porch using it to store materials even though I had asked them to keep things on the driveway. Even after both bathrooms were 98% finished they left materials and paint on our front porch. It wasn't until I brought it up someone that they finally asked if they could move the materials to the garage for us. Our front screen and door have stains on them, which I had to remove and there were several scuff/paint marks in the hallway, we had to ask them to fix. Those are the main points I wanted to get across. If you want a hassle free remodeling experience and you want your job done well (the first time) I would not recommend working with this company. However, if you like being hands on and involved they do pretty good work at a reasonable price and really do want to make their clients happy. Just be advised it might take some work on your part to get them there.

We're finishing the 3rd week of the renovation and so far so good. The kitchen work is going well, despite a few unexpected hiccups. Our beautiful, new cabinets and floors are installed and the counter top and back splash will be done next week! What we like about PHB is that they are professional, easy to work with and responsive to our needs. We liked that they left the work area neat at the end of each day. When piping was uncovered during demolition and the cabinet design had to be changed, Ran and Matt got on it right away and provided updated designs that still offered the utility we were looking for. Ed, our project manager, is helpful in checking in with us regularly to make sure we are satisfied with the work. He took care of coordinating the touch ups on the floors to make sure we were happy with the final product. Our advice for anyone looking to work with PHB, or any contractor really, is to be engaged, review the work and voice any issues as soon as possible. A good contractor should be easy to work with and responsive to feedback. You should be happy with the quality of the work and we are with PHB's work so far. We can't wait for the kitchen and paint jobs to finish next week! Our house has been transformed!
