ASolid General ConstructionMy wife and I had Nick from Solid General Construction redo our master bathroom. Nick did an excellent job and exceeded our expectations. He transformed our original 1978 bathroom to modern day master bath out of a catalog. From day 1 we knew what was being done and what was next on the agenda. The communication from Nick is what I appreciated the most. Even after we decided on an item, such as the tile pattern, Nick would listen to what my wife wanted and worked WITH us to create a great concept. His attention to detail and craftsmanship is shown in the finished product. I can't wait to get Nic out here again for our kitchen remodel.- Hugo V.

AThe Spark SharkI am so thankful for Tom!! He was prompt in returning my call for a quote and was able to set an appointment within the same week. He was able to come in and complete the install of the electrical box and fan, as well as replace a faulty light switch in another room. He was kind, personable and didn't mind my questions and wanting to learn about what he was doing. He even humored my 6 year old who was fascinated Tom had the same "tools" as he did. AHillman Electric ZGreat experience! Mr. Hillman and his assistant, Juan, were masked, neat, clean, personable and a joy to work with. Mr. Hillman is knowledgeable and made several excellent suggestions for improved lighting situations. They went shopping for all the bulbs and fixtures. I would definitely hire them again. AWDS Remodeling & RenovationOur project took a little longer than anticipated but to be expected with such projects based on my previous experience. The workers were very respectful of our property and kept their work space neat. The coordination of the subcontractors and updates for scheduling based on unanticipated delays was very good. The contractor provided excellent communication on day-to-day events and was on site almost daily. He was amenable to requests for changes/additions and very responsive to my contacting him and not just Monday through Friday while the work was being done. It was worth the 7 weeks. AElectric ConnectionJohn and his crew are amazing! Reasonably priced, honest and 100% accountable. They do what they say they will do every time, and within the given timeframe. I have used them before for small jobs and was always pleased. The whole house re-wire (1932 knob & tube wiring replaced) went very well, even with an old lath & plaster house with weird old add-on structures that caused some extra labor. His estimate was excellent, and even though he did a fair bit of extra work that was not in the original estimate, he only ended up charging us about $100 more!! I work mainly by myself, but I do have qualified laborers when needed. All work is guaranteed for workmanship. I have a 4-hour minimum at $50/hour. Additional work after the first 4 hours is only $35/hour. During the year, I do several specials.

ADavid rebuilt the hazardous pillar in less than three days - through peak Sacramento heat! It looks great and feels solid. He also removed some broken iron parts, and left the area heater than when he started. He is professional in a relaxed and friendly way.
