    Reborn Cabinets Inc.
When I called, the service lady was interested in the insurance claim, such how much it paid, if I had received the payment, etc.  After got all the background, she stared to show the interest of the job,  and said will have a designer to call me for details.  However, no one called.  I called back to ask, and request a follow-up.  A lady "designer" returned the call.  In the mean time, I checked the Angies List and found their rating was not impressive.  I told the designer that I was changing my mind, due to the poor rating, she rudely hung up the phone immediately.
What an attitude, I will never do any business with them!

    Preferred Kitchen & Bath
I had heard so many horror stories about the stresses of kitchen remodels. Happily, ours is not such a story. Lea was insightful, highly organized, communicative and a problem-solver. Working with her, the process was truly a creative, enjoyable, team effort. Her team of sub-contractors were highly professional and capable as well. In all, I think the process took 6 weeks to complete. Of those 6 weeks, only 3 were spent without a kitchen. Though incomplete, we were functioning again by the end of week three. Amazing! We were so pleased with our experience that we're now working with Preferred again, very happily, on our family room fireplace remodel.

Patriot Plumbing-Leak Detection & Drain Clean Pros

It went very well.  Mark arrived on time and got right to the job.  He listened very well to our concerns and explained clearly what the problem was.  In this case, the main item to fix was a toilet which was leaking at the base due to a bad wax ring and broken bolt. It required removing and lifting the whole toilet, removing the old ring, installing a new one and replacing a broken base bolt.  Job was done well, clearly explained, and was exactly in line with previous estimate on the work. Mark was courteous, efficient and explained the scope of the job well.

He also repaired a sticky on/off shower&bath switch in the other upstairs bathroom which was becoming difficult to use without applying a little too much force (don't want to break the thing turning it on!).  The plumbing in the house will be 20 years old in October and is starting to show rust&wear&tear.  Currently Mark and I are putting together a plan to replace/repair some of the bathroom and the kitchen faucets.  He gave me very useful information for determining quality of products and provided us with a fair estimate of the cost.

Overall a very good experience.  I look forward to completing our remaining projects with Patriot Plumbing.  When you work and plan with them you definitely get the feeling you're both on the same team with a common interest.  I would work with them again  will definitely recommend them to friends&neighbors looking for plumbing services.

    LeveLine Tile & Stone
Jay is an excellent stone mason. He demolished my existing fireplace and built a stone fireplace 7 ft x 10 ft using split-face travertine in single pieces. I bought the stone and he picked it up. Jay is a perfectionist and the new fireplace looks great, exactly what I wanted. He also helped mount our TV. His price was very reasonable. My only complaint is that Jay was late almost every morning. On the plus side, he did call to let me know.

    Ortam Construction Inc
The overall experience was great - these guys strive for perfection & have pride in their work.  I would highly recommend them for any kind of remodeling work you want done.  They were very good about putting things away & keeping things picked up after the work day.  They took time to go over everything & give me options all along the way - they were good about me changing my mind about things as the work was being completed tool.  Just overall good guys to do this kind of business with.

    Woodcrafters
Woodcrafters are my favorite people to work with. They accomodate any time you require, give you any information needed to make a decision, and complete the job within a few days. Their prices are very competitive, they work quickly and quietly, and you even get a few jokes! Best of all is that their work is beautiful. This was the third job I have given them and hope to continue to use them. I recommend them to everyone that needs any job requiring wood.

    All 'N Renovations
Someone once told me that if my marriage survived a home renovation, it meant that me and my husband were meant to be. Well, if that is true, I'm really glad that we had hired Rob Coppola of Coppola Construction as our general contractor for the work we had to do to our new home. After hearing numerous renovation horror stories from my friends and watching a hefty dose of HGTV's Holmes on Homes, I was very apprehensive when we started our remodeling process. We got three contractors to bid for the job, two of whom were recommended by our Realtor, and Rob, whom we found on Angie's List. We met the two who were recommended first and they really confirmed all the fears I had about hiring contractors-- firstly, they came in with extremely high bids (assuring us that they could justify the prices through the quality of their work), and secondly, they were extremely blase about our concerns (brushing off our questions and telling us that they know what they are doing and we won't have any problems). Rob was very different from the start. He listened patiently to what we wanted to do, asked a few crutial questions which we had not thought about, gave us very good suggestions and came back promptly with a bid which was extremely reasonable (about half of what the other guys quoted us). He did not make any money on the materials as we bought them ourselves (he even passed on his 5% contractor discount to us for the bathroom tiles and countertops!), so all we paid him for was labor. Even then, I dragged my feet and sat on his proposal for a whole week before deciding to sign him on! What a grave mistake THAT was! We ended up having to wait another 4 weeks before renovations could start! This is because Rob is BUSY and has many jobs lined up, although you would never guess by all the personal attention and time he gives you! So take my advice and don't wait too long to engage him, or you'll have to wait like we did! When the work finally started, it was really smooth sailing. Great care was taken to protect the existing hardwood floors and marble floors we already had in the house. Rob's guys and the subcontractors that he uses arrived promptly everyday, and worked diligently every hour! We know because we were at the house the whole time they were there. They also took the time to clean up at the end of each day. Thanks to great project management on Rob's part, there were no delays and no confusion about who is supposed to work on which day. All the subs from the drywall guys to the tiling guys to the painters were very professional (they really take pride in their work! You can really see it in the quality of the work!) and as an added bonus, they were very polite and very interesting to talk to!! Rob's own guys did the demo, plumbing and electricity. They are fantastic! Jeranimo-- the guy who does all the plumbing and electrical is a whizz. Don't let his gloomy facade fool you, he has a great sense of humor and is very nice. He took extreme care while installing our new faucets and sinks, and took the time to install the light fixtures exactly the way we wanted. Carlos and his brother Jose, were in charge of demolition and minor drywall and installation work. The two of them are very easy going and have a great work attitude! They did not mind doing extra jobs here and there when requested. With such a great team, you would think that Rob could afford to take a backseat, but he came by almost everyday to check on the work. My husband would call him on every little thing and he would come in personally to deal with it or get his guys to do it ASAP! At the end of it all (the whole renovation took about a month), Rob came down personally to spray wash the road in front of our house (it was a little white due to the fine powder from the marble tile) and mop our floors!!! Talk about great service from beginning to end!! In conclusion, my marriage survived our first home renovation and I'm happy to take it as a sign of the strength of my relationship with my husband. But most of the credit has to go to Rob Coppola and his team for making the experience such an enjoyable and carefree one!!
