Does a Painting Estimate Really Matter?

Interior Painting reviews in Newport Coast

Great! From the first estimate to project completion, everyone was professional, courteous, respectful of our home and determined to provide the highest quality of service. As we reached each new phase of our remodel we invited them back out to tackle new projects with the same excellent result each time. Will defiantly call them again for any future needs.

Ben and his painters, George and Adrian were outstanding. They first painted my exterior, then later the interior of my house. They were pleasant, professional and really cared about doing a perfect job. A rare find!

    Affordable Handyman
Punctual, very good work on the gates. One of the gates was so dry--rotted that the gate was pretty much replaced Other gate mainly had bad hinges and anchoring which Samuel also took care of very well. Paint job is very good--I'm. actually proud of the gates now and happy I won't be getting a letter from association. Jack did very good and efficient job on the interior drywall and Samuel followed up with paint on that. Brad supervised the project and maintained very good communication througout. Thanks guys, good job and fair price! I will very likely employ your services in the future.

    Northeast Tarrant Painting Co
My wife handled this project and she was very pleased with the whole process from the estimator coming out to look at the project itself to the pricing. Then the completion of the job was done exactly on time and the projects used were very good. The help that was there to provide the work did it in a fast and efficient manner and were very clean. They were right on time.

    Charlie Mann The Handymann
He built two large wooden shelves above my garage door for storage. Each one weighed approximately 60-80 pounds. They were suspended from the ceiling above and from the wall the runs above the garage door. One of the supports was not bolted into studs, just into drywall. I had been working under the structure for over a week. One day the support not bolted to the studs failed and the shelf came partially down. It would have fallen completely down, but it got hung up on the garage door track railing. It would have hit me on the head if I had been working under it. I had been working under it for the past week. The second major support for the shelf was partially pulled off the ceiling because the bolts he used were too short. The entire back side of the shelf which was supposed to be bolted to the wall became completely detached from the wall and was resting on part of the garage door mechanism. This blocked the garage door from opening so my car was stuck in the garage. I had to hire another handyman to fix it on a Saturday.

They chipped one of the sinks they was working on and did an awful job trying to patch the error. It is totally unacceptable and will have to be replaced. He got paint on the concrete at the back of the house and left it a total mess. They left a mess under every window that they worked on. He ruined the back door mat with paint. He got paint all over a brand new garden hose sprayer.  He did some painting around the window trim. He said it would match the original color, but it does not match and some paint even got on the windows. He said he would come back and match the paint, but did not show up. He left a mess every time he worked. He burnt my brand new floor in the garage in 2 spots. I was left to scrub and scrub for a couple of hours to scrub off the burnt spot. They got paint on the garage floor which I had to clean up. He got paint on the driveway, but they did clean that up the next time he came over. They left one of the valves under a sink  dripping after they replaced a faucet. I was able to fix that myself before it caused any damage (good thing I checked over his work, I should not have had to). They put in a toilet paper holder, but it was put in crooked. They fixed it the next time they came over. They put a dent in the wall with a tool and did not repair the drywall, they just painted over the dent. He put in an electronic door lock. I told him to look at the instructions before he put it because it was a little complicated, but he didn't look at the instructions and he did not ask me where they were. He said he couldn't find them, even though they were close to the box the door lock came in. He did not bother to ask me for the instructions, he just put the lock on without them. It did not function when he was done with it. I did end up getting it working, but I had to do most of the work to get it to function properly. He had not returned my phone calls for several days since I told him that the shelf fell. He was scheduled to come over Monday December 29, but did not show. He offered to repair the shelf, but after such a horrible experience, I was not going to let him do it wrong again and chance someone getting hurt. He offered to fix some of the other things, but he did not show up and would not return my calls. I was able to contact him Friday January 3, but he very rudely said he had completed all the work and then hung up before I could say anything.

    IDC Painting Inc
After contacting IDC, Julio immediately called me and scheduled time to
come to the home to give me an estimate.  After coming to our home, we
was very prompt in turning around a very detailed proposal.  After
comparing multiple painting quotes, we found IDC to be the most
competitive.  Julio also provided references that included someone in
our neighborhood.  They were flexible with scheduling job and always
showed up on time and worked hard all day.  They did a fantastic job
with the home and I have already referred a few friends to call them for
their interior and exterior painting needs.  I would highly recommend
    IDC Painting.

It went great and the guys are always friendly and profesional. I like how they see things that need done and just take care of it for free without making a big deal of everything. They are also great about coming back for touch-ups and very flexible to make you happy.

    Samuel Avila Professional House Painting
My house is only 5 years old, but it started to show signs of settling through cracks in the stucco and wear and tear on the painted surfaces in the front. I had used Samuel before to repaint all of my railings, and he did an excellent job. So, I hired him again to freshen up the exterior paint and do the repairs to the cracks. He started yesterday by carefully taping and covering all windows with plastic. I had noticed how meticulous he was before, but noticed it even more this time around.

It was supposed to rain today, so Samuel was not going to paint, however, it cleared up around noon, and he called to say he was going to come and start painting. He has been working over the last few hours, and I just took a look at how he was progressing. He is almost done, and it looks like new! I am so pleased. His prices are lower than any of the professional painters I had bid on the job.

Samuel is extremely nice, neat, professional and he does a fantastic job for a very very good price. I would say he is the best painter I have ever used. I am now going to hire him to do some touchup work on the interior of my home, and the stair rails.

    Thank goodness I found him!

    RL Swartz Co
I was super impressed with Richard's professionalism and the quality of his work. It was a quite a large job that took over a week for him and his crew to complete. The final bill did not exceed the very reasonable quote that I was given upfront even though I made several special requests that made the job take longer than originally expected. Once he began work, his only focus was getting the job done right. He made excellent suggestions, did touch up work around the house even though it was not part of the quote, and was always responsive and easy work with. With Richard you get a designer, a contractor, a carpender, and a painter, all for the price of a painter. He is a true pro with an uncanny attention to detail and it shows in his work!
