  • Always available and responsive! Kindred is truly a 5 Star business- and they literally do everything! From transporting our Chridtmas tree and plowing our driveway in the winter to fixing anything and everything at our lakefront house in the summer- Kindred delivers first class service. I highly recommend!

  • They use the Periscope App so that you can check in. They walk around with it so you can see how your pet is doing. Believe me, I love this place! Someone is there 24-7, they don't crate, and they are always clean. They do a wonderful job!

  • We had heard of Vladae from an acquaintance of my husband. Vladae came to the house for three hours one day last week, and already my stress level has gone way down. I had been considering going to a group class, but none of the times worked for me, and I'm glad that was the case; Vladae comes to the home and does a holistic assessment - he reconfigured our space for the dog, and it's sooooo much better. I hadn't even considered that before. His product recommendations were spot-on, too. His method is simple, humane, and effective. I'm enjoying life with my puppy so much more now. We're having Vladae come again in two months. Highly, highly recommend! Expensive but worth EVERY PENNY.

  • They were so nice and polite, and were able to figure things out on their own - all while getting it done quickly. Our house is clean and organized. Mary is very nice and easy to deal with. I will definitely be using them again.

  • This business on Yelp and Angie's List with good reviews from the people who are actually allowed to use them. Unfortunately when you call for an appointment, you're told if you're not an existing customer they won't make an appointment for you they are too full. Why advertise if you can't give your service. You're going to lose potential customers that are irritated by being pushed aside.

  • They are excellent and price is right. We use whoever comes, there are probably 5 vets. The staff are completely helpful, quick, you never wait. It is very well run. They are always available, you usually get in the same day.

  • They were very good and I love them. My experience with them was wonderful. They are very good people and do a very good job. They are always on time and very accommodating. They are typical for what it is for grooming. I am very satisfied with them.

  • We have been going to Corona Del Mar Animal Hospital
(CDMAH) for about 14 years. Our primary
vet has always been Dr. Aten, although we completely like and trust the
others. We have seen all of them over
the years and have never hesitated to see them.
It’s incredible how many of the support staff are still there for all
these years which by itself is a sign of a great and well-run business!
The extraordinary knowledge and professionalism – along
with the great compassion and love of animals – is what has kept us there for
so many years. We have had our fair
share of vets trying to sell us procedures and things we don’t need, being bad
diagnosticians, not keeping current with the literature, etc.
Dr. Aten is beyond belief amazing. He doesn’t panic and suggest aggressive
therapy at the drop of a hat. His vast
knowledge and experience allow him to be able to offer, when appropriate,
    conservative measures first. He spends
the time to give us all the information on both sides of the equation so we can
make an intelligent decision. He is
cutting edge in his knowledge and keeps up with all the current literature. He is very wise and very compassionate. He takes the time to know each and every
    animal individually and remembers them.
If there is a procedure he believes is better done elsewhere OR a
specialist he thinks can better help with a condition, he is the first to
suggest that and makes sure he refers us to someone that is extremely
experienced and good. We do not ignore
his advice and he has always been right.
That’s a pretty insane percentage over the years with 3 different
Dr. Aten doesn’t look at our dogs like numbers. He looks at them as a vet truly should – as
animals that deserve his love and best efforts.
He never short cuts his appointments.
He does whatever our dog needs and will answer any questions we might
have. His scheduling allows for that!
When our 15-year-old dog had to be taken to emergency in
the middle of the night on a weekend recently (and kept there for days), Dr.
Aten was available every step of the way.
He reviewed all the medical tests and all the information from the
neurologist and continued to give us his wise counsel. I truly don’t know what we would have done
without him; I cannot stress that enough.
And when we had to put our precious boy to sleep, Dr. Aten was beyond
kind – coming to our house with literally almost no notice.
He is an extremely wise man – wise is maybe the first
word I would use to describe him. No – I
think caring and compassionate might be the first words. Except he is such an exceptionally knowledgeable
and intelligent man! Maybe gifted is
the best one word? We are so very lucky
    to have him.

  • Newport Harbor Animal Hospital is very nice and very expensive. The workers are very nice but I had a few problems. One time I needed to get some prescription medicine for my dog and the young lady that helped me took almost 30 minutes to fill it. It should have taken about three minutes because they have my dog's records but she seemed to have problems finding them.
Which leads me to my next small complaint. I had my out of state vet records of my dog faxed over to NHAH and when I would go into NHAH, they always seemed to have some problems locating them. So I guess I could say they seemed a bit disorganized too.
They wanted to charge me $507.00 just to clean my dogs teeth! My out of state vet charged me $180.00.
Don't get me wrong, they are very nice folks and it's a nice facility, but good grief, they are VERY pricey!  I need a good vet that won't put me into the poorhouse........Anyone know any?

  • My kitten was examined, de-flea'd, and given one shot. It was all very quick. The vet wanted me to sign up for a years worth of check ups for some where north of $1000. Too expensive! I felt like I was dealing with an insurance agent selling me a life insurance plan. I do not recommend this vet unless you have d
