    The truck service was straightforward. Ray was very thorough and helpful. He was punctual and competitively priced.
    My car is another story. It's a 2008 Honda Civic. It was making a weird fluttering noise, especially when I made long turns, such as on an exit ramp. One guy said I needed a new transmission; the transmission guy said I needed a new axle; the dealership concurred on the axle; Meritage couldn't make the noise happen but Hasti discussed the possibilities. Shortly after these consultations, my oil pressure indicator came on. I drove it the three miles to Meritage. I was down 4 quarts of oil! Turns out the fluttering was probably the pump trying to get oil. Keep in mind, I get regular oil changes at a local dealer. Hasti said she had a similar issue with another customer's Civic. Honda ended up replacing that engine due to her documentation. She looked up recalls and documented what happened. We are now monitoring my car. She even topped off my oil for no charge! They are very professional and never belittle the customers, even when we ask stupid questions. They always return calls if you leave a message. I definitely would recommend this shop to others, and I already have.

    They checked the alignment and found it to be in specs. They could have just charged me for an alignment since that is what I thought I needed. I know I can trust them and will return! They did a great alignment in the past on another car that really did need too, by the way!

    Note -- The services performed were carried out at the Citrus Heights location which unfortunately closed its doors May 31. The service manager Mike gave an accurate cost estimate of the repairs and kept me updated on the vehicle status. The technician did a great job on the repairs. We received a letter from the Clutch Mart store in Citrus Heights regarding their closure and that the warranty on the repairs performed would be honored at their Arden shop. We will continue to take our MDX to Clutch Mart in the future for any servicing and or repairs.

    Great experience again, the techs at Clutch Mart have serviced our Acuras over the past year or so and delivered quantity service every time. The service manager was able to pretty much diagnose the problem based on my description of the noise but wanted his techs to test drive the vehicle to ensure that the problem was in the front a-frame suspension. They gave me an accurate cost estimate for the repair and completed the repair in a timely manner once the parts arrived at their shop. Great customer service and quality repair service, thanks again.

    Sorry, this review was to apply to the Clutch Mart Sunrise store, my mistake. Also forgot to mention that the 5Kmile service was also conducted on the vehicle as well.

    The job went well, Mike was very courteous and knowledgeable about the repairs that might be required and communicated these to me ahead of time.  He followed up with more details once the transmission was dissembled.  Clutch Mart was able to me do the repairs less than half of the price that the dealership wanted to charge.  Mike made every effort to stay within the quoted price range that was given prior to dissembly.  The dealer's solution was to replace the whole transmission vs. repairing with no other option.  Needless to say, the dealership has lost me as a customer and I will be utilizing Clutch Mart for my car servicing from here on out.  Mike also followed up with a letter asking if I was satisfied with their service.  I would have to give Mike and his team two thumbs up and recommend their service to anyone in need of automotive repairs.

    This appears to be a very efficient and well-run service department. The service rep, Mr. Weller, was pleasant and courteous. It is always difficult to know whether a recommended service is really needed or not. I had also been told by my local mechanic that the transmission fluid needed changing, so I feel pretty confident about that. The power steering fluid and injector cleaning recommendations I took on faith. The repairs took all day and Future Nissan let me drive a loaner car which I greatly appreciated. On the whole, this was a very positive experience.

    Needed to get a smog check to renew my registration. They were friendly, competent and very busy. Ray said the timing on the car was set too high and offered to reset it if I was willing to wait (so I wouldn't have to make another appointment), which I did. My only reservation with them is that they seem to be quite a bit more expensive than the chain smog inspection stations.

    Estimator gave me a bottom-line estimate which I accepted over the phone. The mechanic began and finished the work quickly. After picking up the vehicle I reviewed the detailed invoice and questioned the high cost of some parts that I would have been able to purchase from a local dealer for about two-thirds of the billing charge. The estimator indicated that the invoice is correct. The work on the vehicle was fine and I believe that only necessary work was done.
