  • These guys were very professional. They provided written estimates of cost & timeframes based on measurements taken. (Another well known vendor would not provide us with written estimates ! ) Our area is large & irregular shape; but that was not a problem. Delivery & set up (on time) was done & it looks great. I would definitely refer them to others.

  • Have a seat. I'm a former electronics tech, and 40 years ago, we ETs had to find the defective component, remove it, and solder a new component in place. That practice died with the advent of multi-layered printed circuit boards, too difficult to repair outside a factory. Now it's identify the bad board, order a new one, plug it in, see you later, bye! Problem is, those boards are expensive! So, in walks Jeff, we dismount the heavy TV from the wall, place it on a pad protected table he brought, and remove the back. He looks around, then points to a darkened area of the power supply board. "There's your problem," he said. He pointed to a couple of capacitors and says, "These are inadequate for the amount of usage you're doing. I'll replace them with better ones." And then he brings out his soldering iron, removes the solder from the caps, replaces them with new ones, and solders them in place!!! "Who does that anymore," I asked? "I do," he said. And with that done, he tested the TV, it turned on as it used to, we put it back on the wall, and the world is now safe again for democracy. Here's the thing: some wag posted on this site that Jeff was charging WAY too much for a light, claiming that he had found one for a lot less on the 'net. Well, boys and girls, the 'net has everything you can imagine with deals like that, but those parts are poorly made by third-rate mfgs, looking to make a quick buck. The board he repaired would have cost me at least $300, plus TWO visits to remove and replace PLUS the time for waiting for the part to arrive. The total time he spent was less than one hour, and he charged me $295. I have not seen a guy like this in a LONG time. And I can tell you, good ETs have an extensive education and years of experiences; that background is priceless. And I didn't have to buy a new TV! Call Jeff, the MD of TVs. He's worth every penny, and then some. And, he's a great conversationalist, too. Rock on, Jeff

  • As agreed mailbox was installed on time. The price was as quoted however I discovered a $25 service fee after the fact. I guess I could have expected something extra however it'd be better to mention it during our phone call at some point. Gave a "B" for the price due to this reason, otherwise everything else was good and would definitely use service again.

  • This was my first time procuring this type of service and decided to consult Angie's list for referrals instead of just using an online background check service like Intelius and boy am I thankful for Angie's List and for investigations by retired cops (ibrc)! For me, conducting a background check on a relative was an uncomfortable experience, as I felt guilty about not trusting someone who shares by same bloodline. However, my conversations with janene from irbc made me comfortable that I was doing this to learn factual information about this person that could either confirm or prove false the negative impressions the family has of this person. The information I received (over 70 pages!), including criminal and civil court information from all of the counties that this person has ever lived in, known addresses, very limited employment info., known relatives, bankruptcy info, known associates, asset ownership, etc., gave me comfort that this person does not have a criminal background, but painted a picture of a person that may be financially reckless. Working with ibrc was a breeze! in less than 36 hours after my initial conversation with janene, where she patiently and compassionately listened to what I wanted to get out of this service and answered my questions about the process, the background check was in my inbox! I paid by credit card through PayPal and after the background check was complete, janene spent over 45 minutes on the phone with me thoroughly answering my crazy questions about the background check results and what the information meant! Thanks again janene at irbc!

  • We have used him for 5+ years and it is a family owned business.  They are prompt, courteous and respectful.  They are able to look at an empty lawn and give many options of what it could become.  He is very resourceful as well with the drought right now; he put in drought tolerant yard plants.  He moved the more water sensitive plants into a better area and I'm pretty sure not a lot of people are helping their customers like that right now.  He works with you to optimize your outside living space.

  • Busy Bee provides a great mobile notary service!  Busy Bee (Nicole) is very experienced and professional.  The great thing about this service is that I can get a notarization at home, my office, or even a coffee shop if I want.  Nicole is very flexible to accomodate my busy schedule and always follows through.  Nicole is also a signing agent for mortgage loan documents and is very knowledgable about that process.  I would definitely recommend this service.

  • Ray, the owner was very nice. He was on time and professional. He figure my printer issue as he has the same printer within 15 mins. He also worked on other issue I have on the PC. A week after he left. my PC crashed and I had to get a new pc. I called him today 12/11/14 and told him I had issue with my printer. We did a phone service for approx. 15 mins. All was fixed. He did NOT charge me for his service. I would use him again.

  • Lou has let me guide the speed at which we go. He has an encouraging and enthusiastic way of teaching. His approach is different. It is not canned. It is personal. It is specific. It is directed toward what I am looking for. It keeps my interests very much in its focus. The progress I have made is far beyond anything I have ever expected.

  • She had a lot of success with them. It wasn't cheap but at the same time it wasn't out of control. It was affordable. She had daily homework and she had work that she had to complete at the site. They did it from her level and watched her until she had appropriate study skills, confidence, the skill set that she needed to be successful in junior high school. She finished with a 3.5. She went from a C/ D student in 7th grade to a 3.5 grade average in 8th grade.

  • Overall experience was a disaster.  I tried to tell the full story in the "Services Performed" section.  I won't repeat it here.  Eric Hansen .. or mayber Hanson, is the current owner of RC Electronics in Thousand Oaks, CA.  He alleges to be able to fix electronic components including TV's.  I found the company name in the phone book.  He came to our home, removed most of the interior electronic components from inside our 65" TV set, said he had to take them to his shop for repair and wanted me to pay up-front for the cost of repair parts .. a total of about $450.  He has never returned to install the allegedly repaired parts, nor will he ever return phone calls.  In my opinion, he is a total fraud, con artist.  Never ever use RC Electronics
