    We had our washing machine overflow and though we where home, did not realize it until water had flooded into 3 rooms, hallways and part of our dining room.  We called Paul Davis of Temecula immediately and though it was a Sunday morning, the call was answered promptly and Erik the owner showed up to our house within 30 minutes.  Erik quickly assessed the situation and verbally went through the steps of the drying process that needed to be done.  Erik took the time to measure for moisture in all areas and determined what areas could be saved and what areas needed to be lifted or removed for proper drying while trying to save as much area possible.  The whole prep and set up of the fans/dehumidifier was done very cleanly and professionally. Erik did not leave for the day with out making sure all areas where safe for my family which includes 2 kids under 5.  The follow up daily on the drying process went well and as areas became dry, Paul Davis made sure to keep our family as comfortable as possible by eliminating fans when they could and making sure the house was livable during the process.  There where delays with my homeowners insurance issuing a claims check due to the storms back east but Paul Davis was very patient and I never once felt pressured by them to have this for them.

    If my family should ever have an emergency flood again (hopefully not), we will definitely make our first call to Paul Davis!

    Superior Cleaning & Restoration of Palm Springs
    I bought the big deal and waited for the company to contact me as stated in the email. No contact. I call the company and got a date schedule for Sept 3 around 10 am. This deal was for a whole house cleaning 8 rooms up to 1,800 sq. ft. and a stairway so my husband took the day off work because he wanted to move the big furniture around during the cleaning to get all the carpet clean. No one shows up until 3 pm and I had to be the first one to call to ask if anyone is on their way. So Jeremy finally made it to the house and honestly he is a good hard working person. We are upset with Management. Halfway through the job, his truck mount conveniently stop working after my husband overheard him on the phone about having another site to go to. He had only got done with 1 master room with bath, 1 loft, and half of my stairs. Management didn't offer to send another truck over and didn't want to make another appointment to make things right. Superior Inc simply said for us to get a full refund from Angie's List. I didn't get what I paid for nor do I want to deal with this company again. They weren't considerate of my time and the inconvenient they put my family through that day. If I do not get a refund, I will be filing for a charge back through my bank.

    Superior Cleaning & Restoration
    Skylar came out initially was a very pleasant young man. Explained their services and wrote up the contract. He explained my flooring which is wood would be protected with paper and flooring covered to protect it. He also told us he would have a plumber come out and set up a temporary water heater the next day. I have been through this before and specifically asked if a dehumidifier was necessary as the majority of damage was in the garage he told me absolutely. His crew of two came to my home took out drywall and heater. Nothing was put down to protect my flooring nor was the area walled off. there was ground in drywall on my hardwood flooring and drywall dust everywhere. My tile floors had drywall footprints all over it as well. My garage floor was also covered with debris from the demo and when I asked one of the guys if he was going to clean it up as I didn't want it tracked into my home his comment was a cleaning crew will take care of that he then said If I had a water hose I'd wash it down and then laughed. I didn't see the humor in it. the other worker was very nice and said he understood how I felt and swept up some of the mess in the garage. Later that evening my husband went into the garage and said it was very humid. Apparently no dehumidifiers were left. My husband called Skylar and was told it didn't need a dehumidifier. I immediately called him back reminded him of our conversation which he said he did recall but his tech said one was not necessary but if I wanted one he would bring it out. I am not a water damage specialist so I trusted his explanation. He then told me he had a plumber coming out on Sunday, Mothers Day and I need to have 600-700 cash to pay him for the water heater as he would be bringing it. I reminded him he said a temporary water heater would be brought out and set up and my homeowners would cover it. He then said and quot;we cant bring out a used water heater its a liabilityand quot; I told him I would be choosing which water heater would be installed not his company and don't send his plumber out. We heard nothing from him until Monday morning at which time Skylar told me his tech was coming out and was bringing dehumidifiers and heaters? WTH. He told us it didn't need that equipment and now 36 hours later we need it. His tech did come out stood about 3 feet from the wall and said oh its still wet under the shower, really? how could he tell you could not even see under there from where he was standing. At that point he was told we were done to take the equipment and leave. I spoke with skylar later that morning told him I had lost confidence in his company which started by the way I was treated by his tech day one, the temporary water heater issue and I no longer trusted anything we were being told. He told me it was still wet under the shower didn't the tech show me, I told him no, and that he was going to document that for liability issues. We were without running water in our home Sat, Sun, and Monday. A plumber came on Monday about an hour after tech from superior left and we had running water in less than 5 minutes. That should have been done day one. Claims adjuster came out Tuesday and tested the area and guess what it was ALL dry and were told so by another contractor as well. By Friday all drywall installed, textured, painted, carpet repaired and water heater installed. If I ever have the unfortunate trouble with a water leak again will stay clear of Superior Restoration in Murrieta CA
