He left the area in pristine condition upon completion and the whole process only took 45 minutes to 1 hour. I would call this company again if I neded the services they provide and highly recommend them to other members

    Our freezer went out and we came to Anigie���s list to find someone to help. The man that arrived was on time, but so unprofessional, I would never recommend him to anyone. He broke the line to our water/ice despenser (which he fixed) and gave us about 4-5 possible things that ���might��� be wrong with our side-by-side unit, but nothing that he could fix. He said our coolant might be low, but it���s a closed system that he would have to PUNCTURE in order to even check it, then when I asked for details, he looked at me in a very man talking to a woman way and said ���let me try to explain this to you in a way you might understand��� and proceeds to sputter out complete non-sense. He then said ���you don���t understand this���. I had to tell him I���m not stupid and how insulting his comment was. I just wanted him out of my house at that point. He smelled awful and had not actually given us anything for the $55 fee we were being charged. When my husband went to pay, he said he took cash and check, which was not dislocated when my husband set the appointment up. He said he could get his laptop out and try to take a care, but instead, he���s coming back tomorrow to collect cash and we have to be inconvienienced again. If this is how all Angie���s List works, we will never use it again, as our community pages on Facebook seem to be far more reliable.

He was very good about explaining what the problem was and how they would fix it and how to take care of my dryer to make it last longer.     I changed out my washing machine hoses but because the threading on the plastic hot water inlet had been stripped when the machine was originally installed, the connection to the new hose leaked badly. We tried several times to get a water tight connection with no success Replacing the stripped inlet at the back of the machine requires installing  a whole new inlet valve. For my model,  that's a complicated procedure and I decided to call an appliance repairman on Angie's List to handle it for me.

     Bill told me he would be happy to replace the valve assembly for me but he was concerned that on a machine of this age (13 years old), that might open up a can of worms with regards to other water connections to the valve. He was sincerely concerned about being helpful and suggested a very simple fix for me to try out first - if that didn't work, I should call him back. His suggestion worked like a charm.

    I will be keeping Bill's number handy for any future help that I might need with my appliances.

    ESQUIVEL'S APPLIANCE REPAIR
    Esquivels was HORRIBLE!  The gentleman came out, spent all of two minutes in my home and left.  He said he would order parts and contact me within 2 days to let me know.  After twelve - YES 12 - phone calls, i finally got ahold of them.  He told me computer problems delayed things.  Funny thing is that he told the manufacturer who contracted him a completely different story.  This leads me to not only question his integrity, but also his professionalism.
    If Esquivels shows up at my door again, he will be greeted by an angry customer, a giant dog, and a prompt call to the local police to remove him from my property.

    Vince arrived within 2 hours of my call.  He explained all of the possible charges on the phone.  He found the problem immediately.  He quoted me the cost to repair.  He was very thorough, inspecting to make sure that the issue did not repeat itself.  He explained how to avoid the problem in the future.  He was very pleasant and made sure that I had no other questions about the repair or the service.  I would definitely use this company if I need future repairs an any of my appliances.

    Overall OK! He was able to come out within a reasonable period of time. He repaired a washing machine for me and while everything is working well, there is one piece that could have been put back together a little bit better. This happened between March or April. I rate him an 'A' overall. I would use him again in the future.

    My oven gave me an error code of E2 F3.  I looked up the error and learned this error was for the Temperature Sensor.  This part sells for $20 on Amazon.  When the tech showed up I told him the error code.  He turned on the oven and turned it off after 5 minutes.  He googled the error code (same as I did)  and told me it was the computer control board.  When I told him that I had looked up the code and it was the temperature sensor he said no and showed me his computer.  He had googled error code E3 F3.  I pointed out that he looked up the wrong code and he said "the codes are all the same.  It doesn't matter.  If the temperature sensor is bad then the computer control board is too.  You just have to trust me."   I asked him why he wasn't leaving the oven on to repeat the error.  He said that it takes 30 minutes to get the error.  I told him that it happened to me after only 10 minutes.  He then said, the error should have happened right away and see that proves it's the control board.  I asked him how much to just replace the temperature sensor.  Without looking at anything he said $275.  I asked how much to replace the control board and he quoted me $1,000.  I told him I'd rather buy a new oven.  He said my oven would cost over $3,000 to replace.  (They run about $700).    I asked him if he was even going to open the oven and test anything.   He said THERE WAS NO POSSIBLE WAY TO TEST THIS.  Again, I just needed to trust him because he was never wrong and had been doing this for a long time.   I paid him the $50 service fee that they charge if they don't do the repair and asked him to leave my house. 

    After he left I decided to turn my oven on and set a time to see how long it took to get the error again.  After 30 minutes, I decided to bake the item I was intending to bake in the first place.   Later that day I cooked our dinner in the oven.  The oven is working just fine.  Turns out that if there is food that burns off it can cause a little temperature flare and that will cause the sensor error.

    I tried to call the company directly  to complain to a manager but they refused to let me talk to one.



    UPDATE:  2 months later and my oven is STILL working just fine.

    Robert did an excellent job on all the repairs. He arrived on time, knew just what was wrong on all three, and put everything back together again. And, they all work just fine now.
    Robert actually saved me a bundle as I thought I would have to buy a new dyer (and a new washer to match it, of course). But, instead my older dryer is working again like a champ. I highly recommend Robert and his appliance service. Alexandra
