After waiting two weeks for the lenses to come in, the color was gray/smoky brown and NOT the color I had chosen from a sample. Bonnie was there and insisted I try them out as they were much better and color really didn'tmatter (even though I was clearly not happy) Bonnie said the and quot;lab frequently just sent what they hadand quot;. Later that same afternoon I returned and asked them to take out the new lenses and replace my old lenses and credit my credit card. Bonnie again was there and insisted and quot;the color preference was all in my headand quot;I was not given credit but they would order replacement lenses. I waited two more weeks and the replacement
lenses came in and were somewhat better. This time I was not given back my old lenses and called about 10 minutes after I left and Bonnie said she would mail them to me. I called twice to say I never got them and got excuses about not being able to track the mail. I was never compensated for the lost lenses either and I was told.
The big discount I thought I was getting ( no vision insurance) was not really worth the problems I had after.

I have worn contact lenses and glasses for many years, and have used a number of opticians. I have hard-to-fit eyes, so get to know which opticians know what they are doing. Dr. Clark definitely does a great job of fitting contact lenses and glasses for me, and is knowledgeable and friendly. I have also gotten competitive prices with insurance from them.

I didn't really get what I wanted because they told me it was impossible. The office was fine. Their prices are very reasonable. I only had the eye exam and I didn't have any glasses made at my last visit. They have good customer service. I would possibly use them again.

Was helped by optician Teresa who was very professional and efficient.
Main reservation about giving A rating is the limited selection of frames.
Also, my phone number was recorded incorrectly so I was not notified
    when glasses arrived.

I ended up getting fitted for both regular glasses and sunglasses.  Unfortunately, when they fitted me, they didn't ask where I like my glasses to sit.  They had the sunglasses sitting very low on my nose when they did the fitting for the progressive lens.   Same thing with the regular glasses.  When the glasses arrived for me to pick up, a different person helped me try them on.  He asked where I like my glasses to sit on my nose, and so he adjusted the nose pads and temples so that the glasses would sit as I requested.    Within minutes of walking outside with the new glasses, I could hardly stand to wear them because they made my eyes feel so strained.   The only way I could stand wearing the sunglasses was to sit them way low on my nose.  But then my eyes were no longer covered adequately.  I went back and they tried all sorts of funky adjustments to make them work for me, but nothing helped.  To their credit, they did re-do the lenses over.    BUT, when I got the glasses back, that's when they told me that the particular frames I selected could never be adjusted properly for my face because they are an Asian fit.  Why didn't anyone tell me this when I originally selected the frames??  I am very obviously not Asian.   At that point, I was very frustrated and had spent hours at the place.  They had been very slow adjusting nose pads and stuff whenever I wanted to try on some frames.  To adjust them, they take them to a back room to do the adjustment.  I'm assuming they must have some high-tech machine to do this.  But sometimes I would sit for what seemed like 30 minutes waiting just to have the nose pads adjusted.  At every other place I've been to, the optician does it right there in front you in a matter of seconds.   Because I was so frustrated, and worn out from spending so much time there, I just gave up.  Now I'm looking to just give away the sunglasses and start over somewhere else.

This business is actually called Mountain View Optometry (www.mvo.com).  The staff was professional and courteous, and performed a thorough and accurate eye exam.  I got my glasses at another location, because their frames were a bit expensive, and none really fit my face.  Everything worked out well, and they provided all the information needed for me to get my prescription filled elsewhere.

He has been wonderful. I have liked the fact that he is right on top of things. He noticed the problem the last time she went in to get contacts and he was right on top of it. He would not prescribe contacts for her until the problem was taken care of, and he referred it very well. He was just really great. We appreciated it a lot.

The office is clean and neat. Dr. Chinn was very punctual and professional. My daughter needed her eyes dilated on this visit (which she does not like to do) but Dr. Chinn explained why it needs to be done periodically and what exactly she would experience and she did fine with it. They have some very nice frames to choose from in the office, but not a huge selection.  We eventually found a pair she liked and ordered them.  They arrived about 5 business days later and we've been very happy with them.  Overall it was a good experience.

Overall it was a good experience. A staff helped me register and then did some very basic checks for me, including checking my old glasses. Then the doctor came and did a thorough exam for my eyes. She checked my vision and retina, etc. Their facilities are quite modern and the doctor was professional and friendly.
They require a few more follow up checks if you want to start wearing contact lenses -- one for basic exam of eye health, one for a tutorial on how to wear the lenses, and one for a checkup to see if the lenses are comfortable. Since I have been wearing contact lenses for a long time they only do one follow up check, which requires me to wear the lenses for at least one hour before the check. I appreciate their attitude of careful treatment.

It is a very friendly office. This is the first eye doctor I have felt really comfortable with and that I felt like I would want to continue seeing. They looked at my eyes very thoroughly and not just in and out. They were personable.
