It went very well. Dr. Huang and the hygienist examined my teeth. Then the hygienist cleaned them. She was careful to use a plastic instrument on my implant tooth. The reclining chair had a "massage" feature, which I enjoyed. Not rushed, nor slow. The lady at the desk on the way out booked my next appointment for 6 months, next February. The charge was about $170, mostly covered by my insurance, with a $34 copay.

He is very gentle and respectful. If you need to know something or are concerned, he is very concerned too. He cares about his patients. He is actively looking to improve the office, but the office runs pretty well actually! I have been with him for at least 2-3 years.

I'm very happy with how clean my teeth are now. The student dentist did a very thorough job. This time I drove my car. It was difficult dealing with the downtown San Francisco traffic. Luckily the 5th and Mission garage is right next to the dental school. I plan to take BART for my next cleaning.

He did the usual dental exam where one student, while probing my gums, calls out numbers to another student. I think this is to check for periodontal problems. He also checked for other stuff: oral cancer, loose teeth, plaque (they will clean the teeth if needed), chipped teeth, and more.
I'm really happy that he was willing to look at the area of a tooth I had extracted in April. (The extraction was done by an oral surgeon outside of the school.) He checked the gums there, and even took an x-ray showing how the bone graft had healed. A professor and an in-house periodontist came by to check his work and answer questions.
Since I have a missing tooth, they answered several questions I had about implants, and encouraged me to get an implant there in the future if I wanted to.

They are very punctual.  They give me a time and I go right in.  They are organized.  He's very good.  I've been his first or second patient and he was a young dentist.  He treats me very well.  He's always been available for me when I had an emergency but I don't know how he would be with others.  He does have slots for emergency care and also for the appointments.  It's a very organized office and I have no complaints. I don't usually wait at all.  His staff is all friendly.  I don't have any insurance and so they are flexible about my payments.  They also find me a card that gives a little discount.

The care that my family receives at ST Dental is excellent. Very low stress, great with my kids. I've been pleased with all aspects of their staff and services; from regular cleanings to the billing.

Very well.  The student hygienist examined my teeth.  At each step she needs to have the professor sign off, so it is a slow process.  This is expected at a school, they tell you ahead of time.  So I didn't dock them for punctuality.  Once the exam is finished, she started to clean my teeth.  It took two two-hour appointments, one 4/22 and one the week after before the initial exam and cleaning was completed.  I am happy with the outcome, she did a thorough job.  I brought a book the first time, but there isn't as much opportunity to read as you'd expect.  Next time maybe I'll bring my iPod with headphones.

Overall, it has gone well. Transitions and appointments were handled well and all has gone smoothly. I am now on the final leg of this journey. He sent me to the artist that does the implant matching. And, now after a year of procedures and healing, I will have my new implant by January. Ahead of schedule! He is helpful, careful, supportive and honest. I was told up front how much
each option would cost, how long they would take and what the benefits/drawbacks were for each one. He is a good and thorough dentist with access to a network of highly skilled professionals. If I hadn't been going for this one special procedure, I would go for fillings and cleanings, too.

    Ricardo Perez MD
Dr. Perez specializes in cosmetic and general dentistry. He has done some caps and a lower front bridge for me. He also replaced all my silver fillings with the new resins. I like that he is up to date, modern, and quick. He has an assistant that I really like. I also really like his decoration in his office, it does not look or feel like a dentist office.

I'm really pleased with my visit with her, and she's ready to put on a crown on me. She took her time to really discuss the treatment plan and what she was going to do. Everything was explained thoroughly and she gave me choices without any pressure. She's a pain-free dentist and I feel comfortable with her.
