    Gil's Electrical Service Inc
I needed 3 ceiling fans hung in existing places and all plugs, outlets and lights to work properly so I called and Gil's Electric to come to my new home. I took Saul around and showed him the light and switches that do not work. I had to go back to work and asked him to call me if he had any issues or questions. He offered to put my can-lights back in the kitchen which I took out myself for the painters - (They are very easy to put in) I said yes thank you so much thinking he was going to put them back. He left me a message and said everything was done and worked. At the same time he charged my credit card $2,500. I went by my home at noon to check everything out since they said they were finished and 6 ceiling can lights in my main living room still did not work. I called the office and the person who answered the phone was very rude to me and said I did not pay them to fix those lights! That was the main reason I asked them to come to the home to make sure all ceiling lights worked. I even showed Saul the exact lights and switch and told him it did not work. I work for a City and I know customer service and this company had the worst I have experienced. Instead of taking care of it, the woman at the office told me the soonest they can get back was in six days and I would have to pay again. I am so upset with this company. Do not trust or use this company. They will overcharge and if you can not stay and watch them you may be cheated. I am an honest and fair person and Gil's Electric (after paying $2,500, should have sent their crew back immediately since they charged my card and fixed the lights they were suppose to fix. After offering to snap the can lights back in the kitchen which you can reach easily - I saw on my bill that they charged me over $400.00 to put the lights back in. I would have done it myself! Guess what upset me the most was how I was treated on the phone by there office. The crew was very nice. The girl on the phone said they work for her and not to listen to the crew. I will YELP everywhere I can since I was treated so poorly. They should have just sent the crew back to fix the lights I wanted fixed at no charge after gouging and upselling me. I don't get upset easy but when someone takes advantage of me I get upset.

    Wilson Electric
This new ceiling fan was for my bedroom area.  This was a totally new installation and not a replacement installation.
This is an old house built in 1956 with low ceilings therefore the attic space is quite narrow and when I saw George, who is a big guy, I was concerned that he wouldn't fit into the small attic space but, he did!
All went well, George was very professional and did a great job!I now have a wonderful working ceiling fan in my bedroom.  I am very pleased with the quality of the work and the install cost was fair.  I would hire Wilson Electric again.

Called and they came out the same day with the exact fan I wanted.  They quoted the price a little higher in case we ran into problems, but work was done quickly and under the quoted amount.  I may have them do the other bathroom fan next!

    OC Home Builders, Inc.

From the very beginning, Jim and his crew  were wonderful to work with.  They were always on time, professional, friendly, courteous and always took time to answer our questions.  They obviously have been doing this for quite some time.  They worked quickly and efficiently and kept on schedule as well as on budget.  And they cleaned up their work area every day.  Jim's wife, America, was wonderful making sure we knew what was going on and what needed to be done next.  Communication was great,  either through phone calls, emails or texting, all of our questions or concerns were taken care of.  Every member of Jim's crew is highly skilled and knowledgeable and it is obvious they take great pride in their work.  It was great that  all of their work was done correctly the first time.  We also appreciated the fact that Jim and America would recommend other contractors to do additional work, such as the flooring  and hardscape in the backyard.  We had never done a remodel project before and were so pleased with how smoothly everything went.  We would definitely hire Jim again and we highly recommend him to anyone who is thinking of having work done on their house.  You won't be disappointed.

Install My Lights - The Recessed Lighting Company
They did a great job.  Everything was masked off and kept clean.  They ran wires hooked up lights and fans along with switches and left no trace of the construction.  They exceeded my expectations and I recommend them very highly

    Accurate Electrical Services - Irvine
I have a rental unit in Dana Point.  Both the office staff and the contractor performing the work were in constant contact with both me and my tenant via phone and email.  Mike, the technician, was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient.  All problems were addressed and fixed and the tenant was very pleased with his service.  Mike also checked the breaker box and outlets made a recommendation for outlet replacement as the original units were installed with "stab ins" instead of wrapping the wires to the outlets with screws.  Stab ins are quicker to install by the builder in a condo complex and therefore less labor intensive (workable but cheap!). Mike explained this and recommended they be replaced with more stable wrap wires.  He explained this well to me and gave me options.  It was very nice to have a thorough explanation.  He then returned the following week to replace and upgrade the outlets.  I will certainly use this company again and am very impressed by their professionalism.

    Armes Electric Inc
Pete came out and estimated each of the tasks that we wanted Armes electric to work on. He was super knowledgeable and not pushy at all. After receiving an estimate a day or two later, we booked them to come out an execute some of the work. The electricians that came out to do the work were very friendly and thorough. I most definitely plan on hiring Armes electric again.

    Robert Sappo Construction
The demolition and some digging to expose the sewer line around the toilet that was to be moved exposed old cast iron pipes inside the wall, including both the sewer pipes and vents that had to be replaced and moved in order to move the wall. I had replaced the water supply side from outside as far as the water heater but the reminder of the water inlet pipes were exposed in the slab. Robert didn't know if he could sucessfully cut the sewer line or if it would crumble when trying. I had to make a decision whether to try and connect to the old pipes, or trench and rip it all out, then run a new sewer line & inlet pipes. I had four different plumbers look at it with 3 quotes on redoing the supply lines and sewer line all the way out to the street. I went with one that eventually ended up replacing it all so he didn't have to move the toilet, just rebuild the wall. I'm going to put that part in another report.

This all started 1 1/2 weeks before Robert was due to leave on his honeymoon but this seemed pretty straight forward I had originally assumed this was plenty of time to finish. After the plumbers finished and Robert returned from his honeymoon they got started on putting the new wall in making room for a bigger shower. They hot mopped a new shower base, tiled the show and floor with porcelain tile & tumbled marble accents I picked out. They built a shower niche and a couple of shelves out of travertine. The tile looks beautiful with large 12" tiles on the walls and 18" tiles on the floor. The grout lines are small (.125 maybe) and they used they ground the edges of the 12" tiles to make bull nosed pieces for the edges. He put a new fan with light I bought inside the shower which worked out great. I have a light of the mirror & sink and a the separate on with fan in the shower all on their own switch. They installed a frame less shower door that was cut to fit the opening exactly and opens both in or out allowing you to let the water drain off inside the shower.

I'm happy with the bathroom including a much larger shower, lit and vented inside the shower, custom door that drains inside, and all new tile and fixtures. The tiling work looks great and I'm glad I decided to make the shower larger. Due to the extra I had to spend to replace the remaining water supply lines and entire sewer line (see different report) I have all new plumbing now. I thought Robert could have done a better job of anticipating some of this. This was a really good price if it could be done for that but with a house that was built in 1961 and not that expensively it wasn't very realistic. Some of this could have been investigated before hand and shouldn't be a surprise. I've had plumbers cut out holes in the drywall before to locate pipes and figure out where the problem. The rest of the work that was on this report looks great and I'm satisfied with it. With delays for decisions, Robert's honeymoon that was expected, waiting more me to paint, and just lead times for things like the shower door, the entire project took about 2 months from beginning to end.

    Armes Electric Inc
One of the owners, Pete Armes, came out to do an estimate. A very nice, clean cut guy that was very prompt and helpful. The crew that showed up to do the work was more of the same. They laid out tarps to protect the floor, quickly did all the requested work and did a very good job, as well. They weren't cheap, but they weren't outrageously expensive either. They did a great job for a fair price and cleaned up after themselves, too! I give them an "Awesome" and will hire them again. I can't think of any negatives at all. Two thumbs up!
