    Groballi Construction, Inc
Tim Groballi fit our small job into his busy schedule. He was professional and punctual, and he is skilled at carpentry. We are pleased with his work and will contact him for future jobs. We will also recommend him to other people in need of his skills and services.

    Gil's Electrical Service Inc
I needed 3 ceiling fans hung in existing places and all plugs, outlets and lights to work properly so I called and Gil's Electric to come to my new home. I took Saul around and showed him the light and switches that do not work. I had to go back to work and asked him to call me if he had any issues or questions. He offered to put my can-lights back in the kitchen which I took out myself for the painters - (They are very easy to put in) I said yes thank you so much thinking he was going to put them back. He left me a message and said everything was done and worked. At the same time he charged my credit card $2,500. I went by my home at noon to check everything out since they said they were finished and 6 ceiling can lights in my main living room still did not work. I called the office and the person who answered the phone was very rude to me and said I did not pay them to fix those lights! That was the main reason I asked them to come to the home to make sure all ceiling lights worked. I even showed Saul the exact lights and switch and told him it did not work. I work for a City and I know customer service and this company had the worst I have experienced. Instead of taking care of it, the woman at the office told me the soonest they can get back was in six days and I would have to pay again. I am so upset with this company. Do not trust or use this company. They will overcharge and if you can not stay and watch them you may be cheated. I am an honest and fair person and Gil's Electric (after paying $2,500, should have sent their crew back immediately since they charged my card and fixed the lights they were suppose to fix. After offering to snap the can lights back in the kitchen which you can reach easily - I saw on my bill that they charged me over $400.00 to put the lights back in. I would have done it myself! Guess what upset me the most was how I was treated on the phone by there office. The crew was very nice. The girl on the phone said they work for her and not to listen to the crew. I will YELP everywhere I can since I was treated so poorly. They should have just sent the crew back to fix the lights I wanted fixed at no charge after gouging and upselling me. I don't get upset easy but when someone takes advantage of me I get upset.

    Groballi Construction, Inc
Tim did an excellent job. He stayed close to the quoted price for the job, despite some surprises once he got the border of the window down. He was responsive to my questions. He is very knowledgeable and experienced, so you will need to be firm if you disagree with one of his design opinions. All of our window frames have this odd geometric setup; when Tim was replacing it, he wanted to change the design of the frame and said something like Obvuiusly, you dont want the frame to look like (the original design). I disagreed and had him build the frame to match all the other windows and doors on the house. I could see a less assertive person just agreeing with Tim, ending up with one window that sticks out because it doesnt match the house and then blaming Tim for that. If you disagree with Tim, hold your ground and get what you want. He did a fairly good job of covering things during the demo but I would ask him to cover everything in the room next time. He covered the edge of the bed and the desk near the window but once the plaster dust starts flying, it got on the pillows and the furniture on the other side of the room, which were not covered. Tim is very respectful of your home, and you, which makes the time you spend with him enjoyable. I would hire Tim again for future jobs and you should too!

    APlus Interior Design & Remodeling
We worked with APlus to do our house remodel in 2017. This was a major complete remodel that included pluming, electric, structural changes to the house, kitchen, bathrooms, floors, tile, cabinets, baseboards, paint, windows, doors, garage, audio, additional space and cabinets..practically everything about the house changed. The result is a brand new hokme. Alex - the owner who is great and his team - and I wish I could give each person a recognition in here but they know who they are ( project manager Bob , Aplus Office team, designers, plumber team, electrician team, tile, doors, baseboards, cabinets, insulation, framer, floors, stairs, counter tops, everyone did an excellent job. The project was very well managed and because they had a full team for every job .. as the project progressed the hand off from one team to the other went very well. We had eight inspections during the project for each phase All passed with no problems. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose Aplus again without any question. Their experience in remodeling really made a difference to finish our project in a timely manner. They knew what they were doing and doing it well. Alex kept a very close and passionate eye on the project. Bob managed it really well. Everyone we had contact with from APlus was professional, personable, patient, attentive and a pleasure to do business with. They gave us very good guidance and at times when something was not done correctly, they were the first ones to show it to us. Alex is a very very passionate person for his work and team's work. His project manager Bob is super experienced and very responsive and manages his team very well. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail are excellent. We are very happy that we worked with APlus. The result is a great house that everyone who sees it loves. I usually do not give recommendations easily but for APLUS I HIGHLY recommend them and we personally won't do another remodel without them. Thank you APlus

    ESPOSITO DRYWALL-ACOUSTIC CEILING REMOVAL
Tom did an excellent job on removing an outdated popcorn ceiling and adding new texturing and paint. The home was occupied and he did the work without having to remove furniture which was required by another contractor I spoke to. The price was very reasonable and the work was outstanding. When I asked him to come back and add some additional texturing to one area in the entry way he came back and redid the entire area. Tom was prompt and cleaned up and vacuumed at the end of each day. He was very pleasant person to work with and I would highly recommend him.

Majestic Touch Painting & Decorative Finishes
Phillip quoted me 1-2 days of labor for the job (I was paying him per day). He could have milked it and took the full 2 days. Instead, he worked diligently to complete in one day and saved us some money. The cabinets look fantastic. Phillip did an amazing job of blending in the color and texture.

    Pacific Coast Stairs
The guys were here at exactly the agreed upon time and did a better job than I could have dreamed. The stainers and painters also were wonderful. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I received a bid from someone who was going to sand and re-stain the stairs. But I only paid about a thousand dollars more to have a complete new system.

the shutters are beautiful. the salesman, customer service and installer were wonderful! very professional, courteous and prompt. the installer was very considerate of the new wood floors that had been installed in each bedroom. the shutters were expensive but the quality of the shutters and the outstanding service were worth the investment.

    Striker Construction Group
It was a complete nightmare. We were told we could remove some soffits in our kitchen and they would provide us with a special vent to supply airflow to that area...the problem with that was they never checked the direction of the airflow and shut off all the airflow (heat and AC) to the downstairs of our home...ALL of it. They discovered this in the middle of the project and hid this fact from us. They patched up over all air ducts and now we have air blowing in the our ceiling while existing vents have no airflow at all. When we found out, they packed up and left the next day and started saying we did this to ourselves. Then, they sent us an extremely large bill which didn't account for payments we had made to them (and they endorsed and cashed months prior) in final invoicing as well as doubled up charges. The paint and drywall work was incredibly bad (see images) but we still paid them for it. I will mention they are very good at setting people up for lawsuits later so please avoid. If they were half as good at finishing construction work as they are at knowing how to screw people over and blame the homeowner for mistakes they make, they would be outstanding contractors. I only provided a few of the many horrible examples I have in the images of their work.

    Thrifty Shutters
The crew that came out were exceptional. They knew exactly what they were doing. They looked at the damaged shutters and said they would do what they could. When they returned for the installation, I thought they had given me all new shutters! I couldn't believe the quality and finish of all the shutters. The old shutters looked new and they matched all the shutters perfectly. I absolutely could not tell the difference - even when looking in the corners of the old shutters, they looked brand new! A double wide slider shutter was coming apart and some other slats needed replacing. They repaired everything - perfectly and the installation is flawless. Every time I walk into the home, I smile. I could not recommend them more highly.
