    APlus Interior Design & Remodeling
We worked with APlus to do our house remodel in 2017. This was a major complete remodel that included pluming, electric, structural changes to the house, kitchen, bathrooms, floors, tile, cabinets, baseboards, paint, windows, doors, garage, audio, additional space and cabinets..practically everything about the house changed. The result is a brand new hokme. Alex - the owner who is great and his team - and I wish I could give each person a recognition in here but they know who they are ( project manager Bob , Aplus Office team, designers, plumber team, electrician team, tile, doors, baseboards, cabinets, insulation, framer, floors, stairs, counter tops, everyone did an excellent job. The project was very well managed and because they had a full team for every job .. as the project progressed the hand off from one team to the other went very well. We had eight inspections during the project for each phase All passed with no problems. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose Aplus again without any question. Their experience in remodeling really made a difference to finish our project in a timely manner. They knew what they were doing and doing it well. Alex kept a very close and passionate eye on the project. Bob managed it really well. Everyone we had contact with from APlus was professional, personable, patient, attentive and a pleasure to do business with. They gave us very good guidance and at times when something was not done correctly, they were the first ones to show it to us. Alex is a very very passionate person for his work and team's work. His project manager Bob is super experienced and very responsive and manages his team very well. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail are excellent. We are very happy that we worked with APlus. The result is a great house that everyone who sees it loves. I usually do not give recommendations easily but for APLUS I HIGHLY recommend them and we personally won't do another remodel without them. Thank you APlus

    ESPOSITO DRYWALL-ACOUSTIC CEILING REMOVAL
Tom did an excellent job on removing an outdated popcorn ceiling and adding new texturing and paint. The home was occupied and he did the work without having to remove furniture which was required by another contractor I spoke to. The price was very reasonable and the work was outstanding. When I asked him to come back and add some additional texturing to one area in the entry way he came back and redid the entire area. Tom was prompt and cleaned up and vacuumed at the end of each day. He was very pleasant person to work with and I would highly recommend him.

    OC Home Builders, Inc.
They responded immediately to my call. They worked when they promised they would be there. They were flexible when I asked them to install under the kitchen cabinet lighting in the last minute. They did install them and the are amazing! The cabinets took forever to be built and when they were ready, OC Home Builders were ready to jump in to install them. America and Jim make you feel like you are their only customer, because they always respond right away and are available when you need them. I have worked with them in two remodels and will not hesitate to work with them again.

    Mark's Drywall Service
Outstanding job overall by Mark.  He's very thorough and takes pride in what he does.  I'd recommend him to anyone.  The drywall was installed and textured within two days.  He let the texturing dry and came back to prime and paint the ceiling and the walls.  You won't be disappointed if you choose Mark for drywall and painting services...a true professional!

Patriot Plumbing-Leak Detection & Drain Clean Pros
Instead of providing leak detection service, the company asked about the building age and whether I had tested the flooring for asbestos.  When I said I tested for asbestos years ago and had the linoleum flooring that had asbestos removed by a certified contractor. Then the company rep told me that they needed to test the wall board and wood studs for moisture.  I told them that only the bottom sill got wet from the leak.  The company said if the sill got wet, we have to remove all of the wood that is moist, because it will form dangerous mold. Actually, I know that the sill plate contains preservatives that prevent mold from any brief exposure. The company said they would be glad to send a service man over with a moisture meter that will detect moisture, and that moist wood and dry wall must be replaced before any plumbing work could start.  Although mold or asbestos remediation is necessary in some situations, it has become a common fleecing operation for some contractors.  I prefer to send samples to a lab myself and work with a contractor who does not assume that moisture automatically causes mold. I did not work with this plumber, and I resent his sales tactics.

    Repipe Specialists Inc

It went great.  We looked at several companies and after reading reviews and talking to previous clients, we decided to go with RS. We were not disappointed.  All the work was done professionally and all work was done on schedule, on estimate and to the highest standards.  During the repipe, all my questions were answered and never was I left guessing about what was going on.  We repiped with PEX and decided to do the repipe prior to bathroom remodels which were planned.  Whenever it became necessary to break through the stucco on the outside of the home, resulting patchwork was completed to the exact match of the original stucco pattern.  When the project was inspected by the city for final approval and signoff prior to closing up the drywall,  the inspector commented on the high quality of the work done and how everything was done exactly as it should be.

One further comment.  After the bathrooms were remodeled, we had some minor noise caused by the new shower systems installed in both bathrooms.  Not knowing what the problem might be, I contacted Repipe Specialists.  They immediately scheduled to have one of their employees come to my home to make certain the problem was not with the repipe, which of course, it wasn't.  One of the major benefits of any contractor is when they stand by their work.  Needless to say Repipe Specialists proved to me first hand that they are the type of company that is there for you after the job is completed. This job was well done by a great company.

    Wilson Electric
This new ceiling fan was for my bedroom area.  This was a totally new installation and not a replacement installation.
This is an old house built in 1956 with low ceilings therefore the attic space is quite narrow and when I saw George, who is a big guy, I was concerned that he wouldn't fit into the small attic space but, he did!
All went well, George was very professional and did a great job!I now have a wonderful working ceiling fan in my bedroom.  I am very pleased with the quality of the work and the install cost was fair.  I would hire Wilson Electric again.

    San Clemente Handyman
John repaired drywall cut made in kitchen ceiling when they had a plumbing leak. Did a very professional job. Since my other tenant had just vacated the front unit, I had him install a new light fixture which required running electrical, cutting into drywall and repair of same. Did an excellent job. Also replaced several valves in kitchen and bathrooms.

    Pacific Coast Copper Repipe, Inc.
We found a pipe had broken on a very late Thursday night. Since it wasn't our first break, we knew we could either fix the problem for about $1500., or repipe and never have to go through this again. After finding Pacific Coast on Angie's List, we called them that night and left a message. The following morning Doug (who is all business) called us and came over that afternoon for a quote. We arranged to have the job done the following Monday. On Monday the crew arrived promptly by 8:00 am. I was so impressed how the crew of five worked! It was like watching ants! One member was removing stucco, one was removing drywall, one was working on the main line coming into the house, and two were working in the attic. They said the job would be done by 5:00 pm, but they were actually done by 1:30 pm. Barbara (I swear she is an angel!) from Pacific Coast had arranged the permit inspection for the following day. After the inspection, one of the guys returned and patched all the drywall and the stucco in one day!
I've worked with a lot of contractors, and it's nice to find one that does exactly what they say their going to do within the estimate. I can't recommend these guys enough. When you have any kind of water damage from a leak it's a huge headache. It was so nice to have Pacific Coast take care of an enormous part of the problem so seamlessly!
