    Ido, the project manager, met with us.  He paid attention to both of us and answered questions. We advised him that we needed to get several other quotes before we made a decision.  He understood.  When we made the decision, Ido came out to work out the specifics.  The contract was signed and down payment made with the understanding that the specific laminate still needed to be chosen. The morning that work started, Ido arrived shortly after Phillipo and Mario, who were doing the work.  Phillipo and Mario worked quickly and efficiently and had all the tools they needed in their truck.  It took Phillipo and Mario two days to complete their work.  The next day, Eli, arrived to paint the newly installed baseboards. He completed the job in several hours and it looked great.



    The issues we had with the job (as was expressed to Ido upon completion of the job) are as follows:

    - The contact issues we had with Ido due to his cellphone carrier change, caused some anxiousness on our part; however, when we contacted the office, they were good at seeing that Ido or someone contacted us back.

    - Ido was to bring us laminate samples on a specific day, but it was two days later and several phone calls later before we got them.

    - Ido told us that he would be at the work site at least once a day; he was there when they started and after the painting was completed for final payment but not the other days.  He was busy with other customers, but then should not have said he would be there every day when asked.

    - Ido advised us that "port-a-potties" were brought to worksites for employee use.  None was at our site.  We don't mind at all having workers use our bathrooms, but, we should not have been told otherwise.  We were told that since our site was so close to the office, the office decided that the workers could leave our site and use the restroom at the office if needed.

    - David, the site manager, showed up on site one day.  He smelled of old cigarettes and was not very personable. He pretended to be interested in our job for about 2 minutes, but then took one of the two workers to talk to him for about 1/2 hour about another job.

    - When there was a question about the baseboards, Ido was too busy to address the issue.  He wanted us to go with Phillipo (leave the house and worker at the house - not happening) to the store to chose a different baseboard OR to have Phillipo go to the store to get the samples, come back for us to chose then go back to buy what we wanted.  It worked out in the end, but we were not happy with the way it was handled.

    - After Phillipo and Mario finished the installation, they advised us that the painter would have to come to paint the baseboards.  They did not know when that would happen.  We called Ido to find out when.  He said he would find out and call use back.  The following day we had still not heard back from Ido.  We called Ido and left a message on his phone then called the office for a time.  Violet, at the office, got back to us in an hour to advise that the painter would be at our site around 2pm.

    - Eli, the painter, showed up ready to work.  He asked where the paint was.  He was told by the office or Ido that we would have the paint on site.  We did not.  After a call to Ido, I was told that Eli could go buy the paint if he needed to.  Eli used paint that he had left over from another site.  It worked well since it was the color needed and there was enough to do all the baseboards, but this was unprofessional.

    - When Eli first arrived, we received a call from Violet at the office, telling us to give the final approval form and payment to "the employee that was on site".  It seemed like they office did not even know the name of the "employee" on site.  I refused since I had been assured that the final payment and approval form did not get turned in until the project manager met with us and was sure of our satisfaction. 

    - When Ido came late on the final day, we advised him of all these issues.  He was understanding and assured us he would address the issues. He assured us that if we decide to do another job, he would see to it that we are compensated for our issues.



    The actual work done on the house was great!  Phillipo, Mario and Eli did great work! We are pleased with the outcome, but the process to it was a bit nerve-racking.

    We wanted the entire exterior painted, including eaves, wood siding, garage and door trim.  Because we had just had our house insulated (blown from exterior), there were grey patch spots two every 16 inches.  All of those spots and a few other patches were required.  All the wood (eaves and siding) needed scraping, sanding and painting. 

    Joseph patiently answered all the questions I had and gave a very good estimate.  The company is family owned, which made it even more desirable. A very good price was given for the entire job.

    On or around 8/15/14, I made an appointment for an estimate set for 8/20/14. Due to a family emergency at 0900 on that day, I had to cancel the appointment.  I received several calls to reschedule.  I was, finally, able to reschedule for 9/21/14. On or about 9/20/14, I received an e-mail saying that I need to reschedule my estimate appointment.  No phone call, not even a personal e-mail.  It was a "form-type" letter.  It did not inform me that they need to reschedule, it was worded that I needed to reschedule the appointment.  I have received several messages since then telling me that I had cancelled the appointment and I needed to reschedule.  Needless to say, I am not interested in that type of service, or lack-there-of.

    Steve gave me an estimate (8/2014). When we decided to use their service, we were able to set a date within a week.  Moe and William did all the work with Steve overseeing at least once a day for six days.  They repaired all the stucco - including grey patched holes (2 every 16 inches), scraped and sanded all the wood window and garage frames, primed everything.  Painted the eaves, wood, stucco, etc. Moe and William did a wonderful job. 

    The only minor issue that we encountered was the "over-spray" left on everything from the patio, door handles, and even the covered car that was left in the driveway.  It was windy and over 100 degrees during the work.  Moe and William cleaned up all the places that was found before they finished the entire job.

    I got several estimates and visited their showroom twice. Their price was good and their available products and building capability looked good and their marks were good from prior customers on Angie's list. Once we made the deal, they showed up on time with a significant crew and worked diligently everyday until the project was completed. The salesman (I think it's a family business and the Saleman, Joe Stambulyan, is a family member) said the job would take one two days, but it took 5. We didn't mind because the work was careful and the progress was visible and substantial each day. Joe sometimes took a little long to get back to me when I had questions or needed something. Also, their clean up was very good, but not perfect. Overall, we are very, very satisfied. We feel we got at least our money's worth and our backyard is transformed for the better.

    I asked this company to come and give me an estimate for full exterior house painting - two story house with lots of wood trim. The owner came out promptly, by appointment, walked the property and gave me a comprehesive reasonable written estimate on the spot. I did not give this company an opportunity to meet or beat a better price I received from an equally reputable and licensed painting contractor. Had this company met or beat the price I got from another company, I would have felt completely comfortable hiring this company.

    I had gotten several estimates and chose Peter's company because he had the best price, described verbally and in writing what prep and painting services his company proposed to perform. He also had convincing enthusiasm for wanting to do the job and do it very well in hopes of impressing neighbors, etc. Peter's brother Sean came out with an assistant on the promised first day of work to wash the house and mask it. The house is two stories and has planted areas that make access difficult. In addition, from the beginning of their work, the wind kicked up and, at times, was gusting to 50 miles an hour or so for several days. The wind caused extra work for masking and remasking and made working on the ladder and roof much more difficult. Also, spray painting went much slower to avoid scattering paint with the wind problems. Sean checked in and out with me throughout the project. It took a day or two longer than they expected because of the wind problems. They never complained about the extra work, they never asked for a nickel more than we agreed. Their work could not have been more crisp and professional. The house looks beautiful. After they finished, they had cleaned up so well, no one could tell they'd been there. Several neighbors have admired the new paint job and my wife and I cannot imagine choosing a different painter the next time we go to hire one.

    The experience was good. The guys were professional. They pointed things out and asked me before they did anything. They were quiet and didn't play loud music. The owner takes a lot of pride in the company. I felt he was a little rough with the work people and talked badly to them in front of me. The owner's responsiveness was not that good.
