  • All work was done as promised. He even removed some doors to re-align before he installed the lock. He puts all his effort into the job he does. He is extremely personable and i was impressed with his work ethic.

  • We recently had our master bedroom and bathroom completely remodeled by Curtis construction services. From the first meeting that we had with Daniel, We found him to be very professional, honest, knowledgeable and very skilled in all the aspects of our remodeling project. Daniel was very useful in helping us by selecting and buying all the lighting and plumbing fixtures, vanities and built in shelfs, tiles and hardware. Daniel kept the work flowing very smoothly, with no problems and most of it, he made sure to keep us informed about any daily and weekly progress. We really appreciated all the attention to details and to the high quality of his workmanship and mainly to the working crew that did all the hard work. They all were very easygoing people, professional and it was a truly pleasure to have them working in our home. We would highly recommend Curtis construction and services for any remodeling projects.

  • After good clarification and detailed estimate adjusted to specific details, everything was clear as to what would be done. The job appeared routine, but because of excessive wear, position of heater, and Tony's pride in detail and execution, a new thresh hold, frame, and weatherstripping were all done to precision. The fascia work was done cleanly and exacting. Tony had to reschedule due to rain, busy schedule, and a door reorder which he readily took on, as the order was incorrectly filled by his supplier. We both dealt with the wait and it was worth it. Also, a big plus in my mind, there was no quibbling whatsoever about his honoring of a 10% discount to his senior citizen and paid subscription Angie's List customers.

  • I bought a Big Deal for $899 to have the installation of a sliding glass door.  Fred called me 2 days after I bought the deal and arranged to have it installed.   Terri sent me the contract via email, and I realized I wasn't available on the date we had discussed. A new date was agreed upon without and hassle or delay.
Brandon showed up during the given one-hour window and finished the job in about two hours.   The home is older construction and the floor isn't level, but Brandon quickly recognized this and resolved it.  They finished their work and I was completely satisfied.  They did a very good job, were clean and hauled everything away.
There is nothing negative I can say about the purchase and performed work.  Everyone was professional, friendly and the workers were skilled!   I use Big Deals to determine if I'd use a company again for bigger projects, and  I would definitely look to Pedrino Home Remodeling again!

  • We went through an ugly and difficult eviction process to remove a long term tenant that had been difficult for many years. We needed an honest and thorough estimate of necessary repairs to justify our retention of their security deposit. There was a great deal of damage to the property, including landscaping, etc. We contacted others for full or partial estimates. Our experience with windows-only contractors was that they were essentially sales people pushing to replace window products at a very large mark up. (We knew the pricing of the windows from our own experience elsewhere). Most other contractors simply failed to provide written estimates despite our offer to pay for their estimates.
Alfonso was the shining exception in our experience. He showed up on time, was thorough in his inspection, and willing to provide estimates across a broad range of work. From our experience elsewhere we found that his estimates were very affordable and in line with what we would have expected in a best case scenario. His estimates to replace windows were affordable and far less than the inflated estimates we had repeatedly received from windows-only sales people. He carefully researched his materials costs (doors, windows, landscaping materials, etc.) and provided us with the estimate in a timely fashion. We were pleased to pay him the reasonable estimate fee that he had quoted us prior to making the estimate.
We would have no hesitation in using his services in the future or in recommending him to others.

  • We are thrilled with the work Dave's crew did. Dave was a true professional, he checked in to make sure that everything was going well, occasionally did a walk through with us to make discuss any changes to the original plan and see to it that the crew knew. The project ended up going about 2 weeks over but the results were great and part of the reason why it went over is because we asked for the crew to change out the doors to all of our bedrooms which took extra time to paint and install all 7 doors. Dave provided us with a timeline of what will be done so that we could prepare to get the materials needed in advance.
The  crew- they were great. We were impressed with Julio the young foreman who led the crew well and provided us with great solutions whenever we came across a small problem. Very smart and talented. The rest of the crew were also very talented and very courteous and friendly.
I have to give them all credit to coordinate the schedules between me, my dad and my husband to make sure that there was someone home to open the door and close after them. The guys took time to clean up afterwards and they seem to work very well together.
The scope of the job- knocked down a wall that where the old furnace was and the kitchen broom closet to incorporate the extra space of a huge beautiful bathroom. They had to move the piping around since we rearranged the vanity & tub, The bathroom remodel was permitted and had no problems with inspection whatsoever.
The family room got  a facelift. They ripped out the old shag carpeting, removed some old brick that used to be part of the patio, tore down an old ugly bar. They painted the walls, ceiling, installed recessed LED lights which I love. Samuel did a fantastic job laying out the tile that we chose. They were really large tiles that looked like finished concrete to give it a little bit of a modern look. They installed a simple wet bar which looks much cleaner and modern than what we had before.
Not only did Dave and his crew do a beautiful job with our big remodel, their prices were reasonable considering the work that went into it. I appreciated how they responded to any questions or concerns we had and called in the experts to address the issues to insure that we were happy with the results.
I would highly recommend them to anyone and would hire them again for future projects. Thank you Dave & Crew!

  • We talked to a large number of contractors before starting our project; walking through the proposed job, getting ideas and cost estimates. We decided to go with Sean because he's incredibly personable, has great ideas on how to transform our outdated kitchen to a beautiful modern kitchen, and has reasonable prices.

We had initially planned on replacing a wall of cabinets with an island, but essentially leaving the kitchen layout alone. Sean was the only one who expanded on that with the idea of moving the stove to the island to recenter the kitchen and gaining a lot of useful counter space.

We were extremely pleased with both Sean and his crew. They were hardworking, polite, punctual, clean, organize and skilled. They finished the job ahead of schedule with no unpleasant surprises.

Sean has a keen eye for design and made great suggestions on the look and the functionality on some aspects of the remodel. He provided us with guidance and suggestions which we really appreciated. We are thoroughly enjoying our kitchen and are happy to have found a talented honest contractor with a skilled crew. I have bragged about our remodeling experience to my co-workers because it was so positive. We highly recommend him to anyone.

  • I noticed on a Monday that one of my garage rafters--the one holding the garage door opener and the ceiling light, and directly over where I park my car--was bowed and cracked all the way through. The rafters are 23 feet long! Made a frantic call to Angie's List. I normally have at least two or three on-site estimates done as a matter of course. In this case, I called a few recommended remodeling/repair companies and was told the job was too small or their minimum was more than I was willing to pay or they couldn't come out for a few days. I had visions of the rafter crashing down on my car at any moment. I finally called Nexxus Remodeling after spending about 45 minutes reading consistently highly-rated reports on Angie's List about this Tony Peretta guy and his company. The comments all said he was expensive but worth it, because you wouldn't be calling others to fix what he had done. Tony answered the phone himself, sent Francisco out a day or so later to see what needed to be done, and the work was completed by Thursday of the same week. Francisco and his assistant "sistered" a new rafter directly alongside the scary rafter, and did the same thing with three other 23-foot rafters that were starting to bow. The garage door opener and the ceiling light needed to be lifted from the original beam in order to place the new rafter properly, and appear to be better installed than before. One of the studs in the garage wall was cracked and twisted from the Northridge earthquake. They installed a new stud directly alongside the damaged stud. They caulked under and around an exit door in the garage that had been leaking, and also fixed it so that when I closed the door, it stayed closed and could be locked. What a concept! All in all, my garage now seems so sturdy and safe. Yes, Tony is expensive, but the work his crew did is impeccable and they cleaned up after themselves. They are polite, knowledgeable and quick.
