Nothin22it Handyman Service Patrick Joseph Maloney
Patrick is an excellent worker who can perform tasks independently and productively and comes with a wide array of home repair/improvement skills. He is open to feedback, has a large tool box to leverage and does not require rigid oversight once expectations are defined and laid out. Hes a solid guy with broad experience in construction and home upkeep.

    Color On Painting
Everything went well from start to finish. Most importantly, Color On Painting returned my call the same day and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. They were punctual to the appointment. They gave a very reasonable estimate compared to other estimates I received. They gave an estimated time to start and complete the project and they were spot on. They took good care to protect my property while doing their work and always cleaned up everything at the end of the day. Color On Painting workers were very courteous and professional and I would not hesitate to hire them again.

    I Construction & Structural Inc
Great. The existing flashing was flawed. The new flashing and torch down membrane has us very confident that the problem is fixed. The new tile installation is gorgeous! These guys are first rate professionals.

    J & J Professional Services
Joe is fantastic - I'd give him six stars out of five! We live in another state, which would have made handling of multiple contractors much more difficult. Joe managed all the work beautifully, pointed out issues that didn't even occur to us, and generally exceeded our expectations. He did the work promptly and his pricing was fair. He also gave us great recommendations on where to spend and where to save. He really knows his stuff! Our project could have been a nightmare. Joe made it a great success.

    Tom Shores Construction
Tom was tremendously resourceful in terms of helping us define the scope of each project. He provided us with accurate cost estimates, and each project started on time and was finished on time or even early. Costs were extremely reasonable compared to similar work that we had done by others. The quality of the finished product was excellent. Aside from being an outstanding general contractor, Tom is a kind and resourceful professional. He is responsive, prompt, and very courteous. We had the pleasure of working with several members of Tom's team. I can say without any hesitation that they are the most professional construction team I have met.

    Tom Pope Electric
First, Tom is a nice guy but his business practices are unethical.Tom installed some recessed lights and fans in my home and he gave me a bid. The work was ok quality-wise (B level work) but he really mislead me and ultimately ripped me off. His bid included a hourly rate, number of hours to do work and a bulk materials price.  His labor price (hours x rate/hr) was on par with others so I went with him. The issue was that when he brought the materials they were of the lowest quality. I priced them out and and was astonished at how much he was overcharging. I asked him his materials markup and he replied "50%, the industry standard". Well, the industry standard is 15% and his markup was 125%!  If he had supplied materials close to the amount he charged me that would have been fine - I would have received what I paid for.
When I brought this to his attention he said that that was "his profit" and did not offer to make it right.  He also tried to claim that it was in-line with competitors. While the 3-4-day job took 2+ weeks because of his other commitments, the extra $1800 he upcharged for $1400 of materials left me speechless.
Be prepared, ask for he materials upcharge and an itemized list of materials and the costs if you deal with him. Learn from my mistake . . .

    A Taylor Made Window
They were fast and efficient, courteous, and they were super patient and informative. They were willing to go over all the details with me and answer all my questions. They helped me work through the contract with them. They were great at responding to my e-mails. I would definitely work with them again, and I loved that they seemed to be a family operation with a lot of expertise.

    Stroke And Kote Painting
It was good. They didn't contact me and I ended up contacting them. I said, "Hey, remember me?" And the guy who I contacted said that the boss would be the person to talk to and the boss was not there at that moment, he was on vacation. The guy did call me back and the thing was I wanted something done before my daughter came home from school so they did get it done. In fact they just called me today because they have to finish everything up. Until I got a hold of them they were great. They were very accommodating. Once they realized that they had kind of forgotten me, they were great at making sure that they got it in. It was down to the wire but they get it.

    Ricardo Cruz
Because it happens rarely that you get precision work inexpensively, I am delighted to write the first reference for Ricardo. He and his son Urile turned out to be perfect for my large house:   precision painting using sprayers as well as rollers and brushes, responsible to a fault and respectful,  and they  worked their tails off every day, taking 10 minutes for lunch  for a month prepping rooms thoroughly, sanding all the woodwork and detail in each room.  They  moved all the furniture from room to hallway to room, leaving me a bedroom to sleep in; hand-sanded 12 doors, tons of wood molding and a carved wooden staircase; moved 5 heavy file cabinets; took down 20 large pieces of artwork; fixed all the cracked and broken electrical sockets behind furniture;  and when it was over they cleaned up. The painter Ricardo Cruz has been a professional painter working for companies for 20 years, and is now out on his own. I found him through a realtor who uses him to prepare homes for sale. His  20 year old son Urile  is a part-time student at the community college, and fluent in English, while Ricardo is not, but very easy to talk with and understand. And they had  a third helper who carefully took the electronics apart in the house and re connected everything afterwards - both computers and TVs etc.. I paid $30/hour and the job came in under the estimate. These are very honest guys, I didn't feel like I had to put valuables away, or be anxious that I did not. RIcardo is openly happy when he does perfect work, and when the customer is excited about it. The house interior looks like new and we will use Ricardo again when it comes time to do the exterior. You can reach him and Urile  at 707-235-6517 or 707-343-5602.

    Window Fashion Pros
He informed me this was not for blinds or shutters. He said this was only for a bid only.  Therefore I am seeking a refund.  He was a very nice gentleman, this deal just did not work for me.
