ASOD Home GroupWe had such a positive experience with SOD Home Group, especially in working with Oren that we feel the need to write a review in case if someone else out there is searching for the same type of work on their home or even just a good construction company/contractor to work with. Prior to SOD Home Group, we worked with another contractor who not only didn’t deliver but took off with our money. We then contacted other contractors hoping they can do the job or recommend someone who is reliable to do the work, but it turns out they can only perform smaller projects. We decided to just give up on our vision of having a complete remodeling project of our home all together since it was too difficult to find someone who could take on the job and be trustworthy. But every time we looked at the wall it bothered us, I know first world problems, so we gave it one last shot. We sent a request out to multiple construction companies and SOD Home Group was one of the few who responded. When Oren came for the initial consultation, he was very well prepared, knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of details on what was involved (permits, inspections, cost, etc) so we knew we would move forward with SOD Home Group because of him. Long story short, we couldn’t be happier to have worked with him. He was very proactive and transparent throughout the entire process, updating us on timelines and of any delays. The best part of all is that any concerns we had or imperfection that we pointed out, he happily addressed them and got them corrected until we were happy with the results. Overall, the experience was impressive and we couldn’t be happier. For any future projects on home, SOD Home Group would definitely be our go to. Thanks SOD Home Group and Oren! ASOD Home GroupAll the amazing reviews about SOD Home Group were spot on! He and his crew were AWESOME! The work is superb. They did it in the time Oren promised and with attention to detail. He rolled with some changes and we couldn’t be happier. Oren was there every day to make sure all was going well, and he responded quickly to any text or question I had.Another thing I like about working with SOD Home Group was that everything was in writing. There were no surprises, and he did everything (actually more) that was agreed upon.We had SOD Home Group rebuild our entire home including the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, entry, garage and more…. Besides that, he added a set of stairs with 2 landings down the side of our hillside home. Part of the work was to remove the popcorn ceilings & re-plastering, removal of drop ceiling lights and install new lights instead. Removal of carpet and new flooring and molding installed, replaced old vanity with a new one. Everything looks so gorgeous, I couldn’t be happier.Oren’s prices may be higher than other contractors, but he is worth it for so many reasons. Mainly; I didn’t feel like I had to oversee every detail. ASOD Home GroupMy wife and I hired Oren at SOD Home Group for our new home build in mountain view, CA. My wife is very detail oriented and is very organized. She and Oren hit it off from the very beginning because of this. On our first meeting, Oren insisted that our builder be present and he took the time to ask about his supply sources and asked many questions about the build time line, looked at our house plans, and offered a new perspective on some planning issues we hadn’t thought of. He literally went room by room asking questions about my likes and dislikes, my wife’s likes and dislikes, and our three children (two boys 16 and 8 and my daughter who is 5). We have loved how Oren compiled the list of all options for let’s say paint, tile, carpet, hardwood floors for each and every room etc and then puts the finalized list together and communicates that to the builder with a itemized list so that there is no confusion. The remodeling went smooth and without any issue. Al workers wear mask all day while they worked inside the house and made sure to sanitize all the spaces. Need I say more? Great!! ASOD Home GroupWe were so fortunate to find SOD home group to redesign our house. It has been a while since we did any remodeling or updates. Oren was attentive to each and every detail during the work. The type of materials, the paint of the walls, the combination of the cabinets and more and more… were picked up one by one to deliver us a ‘look like new‘ home. The whole coordination of who will work and when, what will they do daily, weekly and monthly – was managed by Oren. The office staff always made sure that the schedule and perfection are the top priority and they kept informing us regarding each and every step of the work. We cannot thank all the people who did the work and manage to complete it on time even though we are in a middle of a pandemic. We worked with Oren and Jhon on the design and details of our remodeling project (New Kitchen, two Bathrooms, Floor entry and more). The 3D design was so good that we could see how our home will look like after the design. They went step by step with us and explained in details what we are getting, how and how much. After 4 months of remodeling (with delays because of COVID-19) we had our entire home remodeled and we are so happy about the process and the result outstanding quality and clean job.. ASOD Home GroupI've been through my share of remodels and almost all of the experiences took more time, more money...you know the story. And then our house had water damage which was uninhabitable. Despite solid insurance, the moment the tests came back positive for mold and sewage, we knew this was going to be a complete move out, demo and remodel. I had 3 other bids come back and I chose Oren with SOD Home Group. Oren was a very open communication, direct eye contact, honest opinions, quick problem solving, and most of all, they took care of us when COVID hit and the building shut down to all contractors. Even though we had weeks left on our schedule to get the job done, Oren and his team were able to made it happen (the entire remodeling) without any changes to the original plans. AHire My Husband LLCHe was able to completely fix the problem. My doors close perfectly now. Since there was extra time on the 2 hour minimum, he also filled some cracks in my walls. The time went over 2 hours, but I was charged for a full 3 hours. Keep that in mind if you have extra work.- Sharon D.

FThey showed up on time and they did complete the work however I was told I would be charged for two workers however only one worker showed up and he then told me he would only charge me for one worker but I was still charged the two worker rate. He also does not have any supplies to do work other than the workers tools as I had to go buy small pieces so that they could complete the work. When I questioned him about the overcharge he offered a "discount" on future work ( I won't hire again) then told me the one person rate was almost as much as the two worker rate. I suggest anyone hiring this business make sure you get ALL details and COSTS up front and make sure they will meet your expectations prior to agreeing to work with him.
