    Water Heaters Only Inc
Water Heaters Only did a great job replacing my 16 year-old water heater. The team at the office was very professional and courteous when scheduling the visit. And Steve B., the service/installation technician, did a great job with the installation. He called before arrival at my home, was punctual, explained the scope of the job, provided a quote, and completed the new installation in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Water Heaters Only for water heater repairs and/or replacements.

We needed to have our new single bowl kitchen sink, garbage disposal, and dishwasher reconnected after a kitchen remodel where we replaced our kitchen countertop. The work was done well, although after a week we're finding there is a minor amount of leakage happening and we'll need to call them to come back. In our past experience with several houses and projects, this is not unusual, and provided they are willing to come back and fix it we wouldn't have any problem with this.

Our Sub Zero ice maker started to leak and the water shutoff valve under the sink for the ice maker was stuck so that I could not turn it off. Jess and Chris came to my rescue within an hour of my call. They did an outstanding job of replacing the stuck valve in a tangle of under-sink pipes, and checked their work at least three times to be sure that there were no leaks under the sink. I am totally satisfied with their quick response and the quality of the work that they did!

I thought my clothes washer drain was clogged, but Leo immediately diagnosed the clog as being elsewhere. He cleaned the correct drain quickly, was courteous, kept me informed about what he was doing and why, and cleaned up thoroughly when done. We rescue dogs, and he was patient while I maneuvered them out of his way. At one point they surrounded him, barking and jumping, and he stayed calm -- didn't excite them and didn't get annoyed. And my drain now runs fine :-).

    Cools Custom Remodeling Inc
We came home from vacation last April and noticed some dark spots on the hardwood floor in our master bedroomnear the wall shared with the master showernot good. After some initial exploration, we found that a malfunctioning shower valve had been leaking into the wall cavity for about 5 years lots of mold, rotted studs, subfloor issues, a shower that needed to be completely replaced, along with hardwood flooring in the bedroom. You would think that it would be relatively easy to find a contractor to do this work, but its not. Many of the people we contacted just said, no, we dont do water damage. Others thought that the job was too small. Others would do it, but wouldnt give a firm quote and wanted to charge an outrageous exploration fee. Enter Cools Custom Remodeling. From the start, they worked to get our business and treated it as a partnership. Yes, they admitted it was a smaller job for them, but they never made us feel that it was any less important. We had an open line of communication and we always knew where things stood. We had a lot of stops, starts, and delays on the job as we were trying to match specific tile (some of it custom-made) and flooring (and did I mention that were sort of super-picky?). They hung in there. If we werent 100% satisfied with something, they came back and worked on it until we were. We moved back into our master suite last weekend and the whole thing looks beautiful just like the disaster never happened. Cools Custom gave us all you can ask for in a contractor: fair prices, good communication, quality workmanship, and willingness to meet expectations. I would recommend them for any job, large or small.

    Hernandez plumbing
Elvis Hernandez is the owner of Hernandez plumbing. I had 3 bathrooms remodeled by Rojas Construction Company who sub-contracted the plumbing work to Elvis. On the first bathroom shower, I gave him the instructions, but he didn't read them. He installed a new Kohler shower valve too far forward in the wall. I pointed it out to him and he had to re-plumb the hot and cold copper pipes in order to re-set the valve farther back in the wall. On the next bathroom shower, he was cutting the Kohler valve stem and also the stem cover because he was having problems attaching the shower handles to the valve stem. This was a standard installation so he shouldnt have to modify anything. On the 3rd bathroom remodel, he send a junior plumber & helper to do all the plumbing with very little supervising. The job was a mess. In one place the junior plumber had to run a copper water line about 2 feet from point A to B. He soldered 11 joints to get from point A to B. When Elvis stopped by, I showed him the work and showed him how he could get from point A to B by only soldering 3 joints. I told him the more solder joints you have the more chance of a leak. I asked him to correct it. It would have taken him about 10 minutes to re-solder it, but he refused. Elvis's MO is to get the job and then bring helpers to do the work who aren't experienced with limited supervision

R.P.S. Ribbs Premier Services Plumbing - Rooter
Beware of this company: I experienced a theft. The plumber helped move a professional-grade fan & dehumidifier from our interior room to the porch outside our front door so he could work. We never saw this equipment again. Our front entrance is on the 2nd level of the house, surrounded by a porch, so nothing is visible from the street level. Nobody else knew the fan and dehumidifier were there. He also asked for cash to go buy plastic tarps because he didnt have any in his truck. The neighborhood hardware store is 1-2 mins away. He returned 30-40 mins later with 2 plastic tarps...and a story that he tore one tarp so now we were down to 1 tarp. I asked him to seal the tarp with tape across the top so dust would fly into my daughters bedroom, but he only used 1 piece of tape. Completely dissatisfactory and unprofessional experience! We filed a police report and an insurance claim.

The tech was nice and professional. The price was very high. I was told replacing the water pressure regulator would take two hours and cost $525. Well it cost $525 but was done in 37 minutes. While thats great, the price for labor of ~$400 for 37 minutes of work is excessive to say the least.

I had a problem with bathtub backflow and called Guy Plumbing for advice. The people there were very helpful, explaining to me that they could not help me and why, and offered to provide referrals to companies that can. A very ethical and knowledgeable staff - rather than take an opportunity to make a profit, they made appropriate recommendations so that I can get the help I need.

My wife and I had an absolutely excellent experience working with Jay and his team! Our renovation included: - Full bathroom renovation, including redoing all plumbing, electricity, shower, tiles and floor tiles. - Breaking a wall between the living room and kitchen (which also required a replacement of a weight-bearing beam) - Installation of two skylights - Replace flooring throughout the house. - Some specific touch ups. The work was very professionally done. We had excellent ongoing communications with fluent decision making, and Jay, Oscar and Julio gave us great advice when we needed it. The work was done *on time*, and everything was left clean and organized. A friend gave me the referral to Jay and I couldn't be happier about it and I've already recommended to my friends.
